Jeremy

"Dr. Richard Muller and his team, noted scientists and skeptic, verified weather records and determined the planet is indeed warming. ..“doubters” and “debaters” ( paid smear trolls) on the internet are preventing any action on this crisis of our own making "

That's right, he verified what the deniers have been saying for years now, and he did not claim that it was anthropogenic. I'm a denier troll yet I agree with Muller. However you imply that global warming is anthropogenic.

How did you make that conclusion even though Muller could not?

Wow, you must be pretty good at this science stuff.

Unfortunately, "doubters" and "debaters" ( paid smear trolls) on the internet are preventing any action on this crisis of our own making. We have literally wasted decades in this senseless exchange. This only has benefitted the merchants that market and profit from these dirty, toxic fuels.
Jeremy, I was not the numbskull that came up with the idea. I merely wrote a response to a completely idiotic article by a guy that has a PhD and probably cannot cross the road without help.

It does not take a PhD to figure out that the world is changing. Unfortunately we are living in a political world. It is hard to determine Shill from Real.

The world is full of well paid shills. They used to just stick to amusement parks and lure people to play games that were not winnable. Today they have PhD's and feed us crap!

So simion, if your claim is correct, how can you explain the tangible chaanges in thw ecosystems? I am referring to Arctic Ice melt, glacier melt, specie movement, seasonal changes, ocean acidification (due to Co2 gas being absorbed by the ocean waters), extreme weather events that is beyond the norm.
These are occurring so much qyucker than "natural" and due to warming causded by increase Greenhouse gas. We are approaching 400 ppm of Co2, NOT SEEN FOR HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF YEARS. Paleoclimatic records have reflected that Co2 rises so does warming (basic physics and chemistry...one does not need to hold a PhD to understand the science).

There are plenty of smart, wise people with PhDs. There are plenty of dumb, integrity-free people with PhDs. There are plenty of smart, wise people without PhDs. There are plenty of dumb, integrity-free people without PhDs.

As for the surface temp record, the best and most useful analysis I've yet seen is Foster & Rahmstorf (2011) in the well-respected Geophysical Research Letters. Summary and discussion (with one of the authors) are here: http://tamino.wordpress.com/2011/12/06/the-real-global-warming-signal/

F&R take five temp records and strip out signals of solar variation, aerosols, and ENSO to see what's left. What's left is a clear and strong trend up, up, up.

Simon,
You could ask climate researchers how they assembled the data and why it is displayed that way but instead you chose to use your "common sense" and ended up being a fool.
