Baseball needs a Commissioner who will continue the assault against the remnant of the Steroid Era by stripping season and career records and awards from various players who have to have used steroids and other banned substances, including Bonds. Players homerun totals have declined since the drug-testing policy was first implimented several years ago. Even A-Rod is feeling the pinch, as pitchers continue to get better. A new Commissioner, and not one connected to Selig, needs to step to the plate with more power than Selig and more tough love against the Steroid Era. And ineligibility to the Hall of Fame should also be given to the juiced players, as well as a permanent lifetime ban.
