Police seem to believe that a mother, Bertha Guerrero-Castro, in Caldwell Idaho may have picked up her three children for visitation but she never returned them by the 3 p.m. deadline on February 18, 2012. They say that the three children, Ubaldo, Mirella and Esmerelda Guerrero-Lopez were last seen at 4601 Autumn Lane yesterday. An Amber Alert has been issued from the state of Idaho.
The report says that Bertha had lost custody of her children to the state of Idaho and the children were placed with the Health and Welfare. She also seems to have a previous history of drug abuse and child abandonment. The police are saying that the group may all be traveling in a grey Oldsmobile with a Nevada tag on it, but the license plate number is unknown. The authorities say that she does have a residence in Nevada but it is not known as to what part of the state that would be.
Ubaldo Guerrero-Lopez is 9 years old and is described as being a Hispanic male that has black hair and brown eyes. He is about 4 feet 9 inches tall and he weighs about 75 pounds. When he was last seen he was wearing a grey hooded sweater, blue jeans and black Adio tennis shoes.
Mirella Guerrero-Lopez is 7 years old. She is described as being a Hispanic female that has black hair and brown eyes. She is about 4 ft tall and she weighs about 55 pounds. She was wearing a tan and pink coat, blue jeans and brown and pink shoes the last time she was seen.
Esmerelda Guerrero-Lopez is 5 years old. She is described as a Hispanic female that has black hair and brown eyes. She stands about 3 ft and 7 inches tall and she weighs about 45 pounds. The last time she was seen she was wearing a pink hooded sweater, pink shirt with money on the front of it, blue jeans with flowers on the bottom and shiny black boots.
Bertha Guerrero-Castro is 35 years old. She is described as a Hispanic female that is about 5 ft 1 inch tall. She weighs about 139 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
The Caldwell Police Separtment is asking that if anyone has any information on the whereabouts this woman and children are to please call them at (208) 454-7531.
