You would think it would be a good thing to walk your children to school to keep them safe, but you never expect something to happen to you on the way back home. Yesterday morning, Loisisnett Garcia-Rengel left her home to walk her children to the Lake Nona Middle School but she never returned home afterwards.
When she failed to return home her husband got worried and called the police. Deputies report that the children made it to the school with no problems so something prevented the mother from returning home once they got to school.
The police started investigating and searched the area on ground around the school using bloodhounds and searched from the air but they found no signs of the mother. They plan to spend today trying to retrace Loisisnett’s steps as well as their own from yesterday hoping that they will get some clue as to what happened to her. Her husband told the police that his wife never took off like this before so he is really worried about her well being.
Loisisnett Garcia-Rengel is described as being a Hispanic woman that is 41 years old and she is about 5’4†tall. She has black hair that is about mid back length. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans with white sneakers.
If anyone has any information about what has happened to Loisisnett Garcia-Rengel please call the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at (407) 836-3457.
I pray she is found safe and sound and is returned to her family soon.
Update: Investigators have confirmed a body found in a retention pond Wednesday is missing Lake Nona mother Loisisnett Garcia-Rengel.
Her body was found early Wednesday afternoon in a pond near the Eagle Creek subdivision, where she lived.
