There are two children ages 11 and 4 missing from Burlington, North Carolina and the police are asking for help in locating the children and the man that took off with them in their father’s car while they were sleeping about 4:50 this morning.

Alberto Perez Medina claims that Jamie Sosa, who happened to be a passenger in the car drove off in his white 2003 Cadillac Escalade while Medina’s three children were sleeping but one of the children managed to get out of the car before it took off. The two children, Jannete Perez Bautista, 11, and Luis Alberto Perez-Bautista were still asleep when the third child got out.

The Escalade has 22 inch rims and its North Carolina license plate number is WWW-1787 and it was last seen on North Sellars Mill Road towards North Church Street in Burlington. Sosa is described as a Hispanic man in his 30’s and he is from Winston-Salem, N.C.

An Amber Alert has not been issued for the children because the requirements have not been met, according to the supervisor of the Center for Missing and Exploited Children of North Carolina but they have been listed as missing children.

Police are asking anyone that has any information about the whereabouts of the two children to please contact them at the Burlington Police Department at 336-229-3500 or you can call Crimestoppers at 336-229-7100.

Unfortunately I could not find any pictures of the missing children but if anyone knows anything about this case I beg of you to please contact the police. I pray that no harm comes to these children while they are gone. May God be with them.
