So the jurors were tired of it all and wanted to go home. Alrighty then!
I don’t want to follow another trial again. She did it!
Well now she can admit that she killed her, and she can’t be retried for the murder charge!!!
This is a historical moment in our justice system today. You can officially make a complete mockery of the system and be justified! It is no longer the “people’s court”, but the “clown’s court”. Now every judge will be forced to open court with the phrase, “This circus is now in session!”
I am not following any more cases again either. People harm children and get away with it more often than not. It has always been this way and it looks like it always will be this way. Children are the most vulnerable in our society yet they are the least protected. They have no voice and they have no rights. I am disgusted. I am sick about this.
When will this country accept that children are people, too!?
NO JUSTICE FOR ANGEL CAYLEE! What a travesty, again Casey gets out of facing the consequences of her actions with an even bigger lie to LEO’s her Attorney, and the Nation. My condolences to the Anthony’s especially if she gets released into their custody. Lee should run as fast and as far as he can so he has a chance at some normalcy.
LE & the Prosecution, & the experts should feel proud, they had an almost airtight case. My heart goes out to them.They did a fine job.

One thing comes to mind; the jury in the Scott Peterson case had only a scintilla of evidence and they found that parasite guilty, hmmmm makes you wonder about the IQ factor.
I am just reeling, so disgusted that another muderer got off this way. This is like visions of the OJ trial all over again. Now she will get out and reap all the noteriety and money from interviews and appearances as a reward to boot. Her personality type alone will be able to look past all the whispers and finger pointers, and make her feel like a celebrity of sorts. She is a sociopath and they do not care what other people think. She’ll take that money and run, start a new life elsewhere and her little innocent baby lies in a cold grave. I am just sick to my stomach. I no longer believe in the justice system. It doesn’t work for the honest people, only for those who are liars in life.

Now Casey will get monetary offers and get paid for her actions.
It is our judical system, if it can’t be proven, then we have to let them go. I bet she walks out Friday.

If you have ever served on a jury you would know there is no such thing as innocent, guilty or not guilty. And yes since the jury said she was not guilty in court, she is leagally not guilty. But morally and by public opinion she is and always will be guilty. jmo

Verdict – No Justice For Caylee
I’m sorry the only people who cared about Caylee and justice for her are total strangers, the general public, the prosecutors and law enforcement.
Against justice for Caylee were her own family, the defense team, and the jurors. What a shame. They will meet their Maker someday and they’ll have to explain themselves.
Things we can get away with in Florida: Murdering someone, putting the body in the trunk for a few days, tossing the body into the swamp like trash, and then partying for a month after. We can also lie on the witness stand and be rewarded by having our murdering daughter let off free as a bird.
What we can’t do in Florida: We can’t lie to law enforcement because we’ll get a teeny, tiny charge, we can’t scream out during jury selection “she killed her baby, anyway” because we’ll be thrown in jail for a few hours, and we can’t flip the bird in court because we’ll be fined and jailed for a few days.
It’s more important to the justice system of Florida that bird flippers be jailed than murderers be convicted.
Caylee gets her reward in Heaven only while her mother and grandparents get rich off her murder.

I have not posted here for quite some time but today I had to come here. During the past three years since little Caylee Anthony went missing, I have listened to any article I could find regarding this. Waiting to see justice for this baby, just knowing there was no way Casey would walk. Well, today, it is all over and Casey will walk free on Friday of this week. She will only have maybe four years to serve for telling lies, and she will be released with only time served. Now, the question in my mind is who is to pay for Caylees death? That baby did not kill herself and go lie in those woods all by herself. Casey knew she was dead, yet she spent the evening watching movies and then the next day in bed all day with her current heart throb. No remorse, no grief, no feelings other than relief that she was no longer responsible for her own child. She even loved her child so little that she refused to help find her, she knew didn’t she? When the body was found, of course she hyperventilated, she felt she was caught and was wondering if the body had rotted to the state that it would be impossible to know how she died. What kind of monster is this person we know as Caylees mother? Can she possibly live with the thought that her baby is dead and she is free? It is my prayer that she be haunted each day of her life until she comes forth with the cause of death. But, we did not see what we felt we should see today and it is over now. She walks free, baby Caylee is still dead and nobody cared enough to see punishment doled out to the perpetrator. Why do I not feel any closure?
I agree with everyone, especially cathardic.. I believe the jurors wanted to go home and if they came up with a first degree or felony manslaughter, they would have to stay around for the penalty phase and one of the jurors had a cruise on Thursday.. I think it is outrageous that Casey will go on with her so-called “beautiful life” and there will not be any justice for Caylee Marie.. I have been sick to my stomach since the verdict earlier today.
A shout out to all the JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE for bloggers…call, write,email every program/publication that dares to bring any of the Anthony’s back in the public arena, we as a collective can make sure they don’t profit from the murder of a child. Remember when O.J. was going to sell his book “If I did It” the public wouldn’t tolerate it and stopped it, we can do the same. The only book I’ll read is one from the Prosecutors or LE, the truth.
Orlando seems a sinister place now, where it’s open season on the most innocent among us. I live in NY and the local radio programs were outraged at the verdict, one man called and said she’ll probably get an offer from “Playboy.” When the verdict was read I saw a cartoon bubble over Baez’s head read kaching$$$$. The Anthony’s knew Baez was going to spin the tale of sexual abuse when they met w/him one week prior to the trial but I speculate that they went along with it to spare her the DP. Once again they got her out of a jam. Baez knew he had no proof & GA could have said “no way Jose.”
If I were one of the jurors I’d slink out too. I agree with Cathartic, they just wanted to go home. I know one of the jurors is leaving for a cruise on the 7th. If they believed in their verdict why didn’t they have the courage of their conviction and explain? I agree with all the above.

My heart goes out to you. You have cried and labored over this case from day one. Please dont feel bad or let yourself down, for i, and i’m sure many others know what pain you must be suffering. When one breaks it all down YOU WERE CAYLEE’S LIVING,BREATHING,AND ANGEL. Without you many wouldnt have even cared what or who Caylee was.

Susie, I’m wondering the same thing about the Jurors, something is terribly wrong like maybe a rogue. They should be investigated thoroughly. This is not right. The child was missing 31 days before someone noticed, she slept in the same bed w/her “alleged” mother along w/a man, she had dark circles under her eyes in all the photo’s, she was present when parties were going on, etc. All that is subjective for child abuse or neglect. What’s going on in Pinellas County that they would let this skank get away w/murder? They better stay out of sight.

Only because Casey made sure she had 31 days plus for all the evidence to decompose and wash away in tropical storm Faye. That is the only reason the prosecution didnt have more concrete evidence. The jurors should have taken their time, this was not about Casey, it was about the victim Caylee, laws are made to protect the victim right? How about charging her with not reporting a dead body. Baez said in a court of law that she found Caylee dead in her father’s arms. Can they take that statement back, I don’t think so. In some states it’s a felony with 1to5 yrs incarceration. Wishful thinking on my part.

This does not mean I agree with this verdict nor does it mean that I wanted a specific out come in this trial. All I had was what I heard on TV and on the Blogs. I trusted our legal system, I had to.
I think the Prosecution may have overcharged this case with the evidence they had.JMO No cause of death is a very big problem when it comes to reasonable doubt and a murder 1 DP case. I feel there were lesser charges that could have been easier to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. The burden of proof in a DP murder 1 or any charge the requires a life in prison penalty is very heavy.
Does anyone know for sure that Caylee did not drown? I think the jury thought it was a very big possibility. No matter what we have heard or seen on television or in media, this jury saw things we did not and had specific directions on what they needed to do. The jury members said in Voir Dire that they had not heard much about this case. Anyone who wanted the DP felt the prosecution did a fantastic job. There were and are many who felt Baez did a good job. The jury had to remain impartial, unlike the public who had formed their opinions long before any evidence was presented. The jurors swore they would remain impartial. The charges and counts they had to choose from were decided by the prosecution and by law.
I think it was a very difficult case for this jury. We all know their lives will be very difficult if their identity becomes known. Who would choose a highly unpopular verdict to get home a few days earlier? We need to be careful with our attitude of this jury. Do we want jurors to do what is popular or do we want them to make a decision on the actual evidence as presented in a trial and then follow the legal instructions? I guess many need to think, what if it was you or a family member who was accused. Would you want the jury to be strong enough to go against the popular and easy decision, to look at the evidence and follow the instructions? If we chastise every jury that does not find as we passionately feel, we may find it difficult to seat a jury in high profile cases. Then what? I know people say we have the greatest legal system in the world. It seems they feel this way until they do not get the results they want.
I do not think this case is over. There are far too many unanswered questions. Too many strange circumstances and certainly far too many people who lied about crucial elements. There are several questionable people in this case and events that need to be investigated much more in depth. A small child has lost her life. I think there has to be answers given for her sake. I am still very upset over the bogus verdict. I truly believe that Casey Anthony, murdered her daughter Caylee. I guess I should congratulate Mr.Baez, because he is famous now at little Caylees expense. Mr Baez, said right on tv that in this case there was no winners well that’s not true Casey, is the winner she will walk soon and her sweet little baby girl Caylee, is in her grave,because of her mother Casey, is what I believe. What really infuriates me is that when the verdict was over Mr. Baez, and his defense team went and popped open the champeine bottles and were celebrating and laughing, and even dancing and that was a total disrespect for little Caylee,there was no justice for her and Mr.Baez, those actions showed me what a bunch of pukes you all are and the idiots on the jury really disappoint me. I feel so passionate about this and there is not one thing I or anyone can do to turn this injustice around. Caylee was an innocent child and she deserved to have a full life. While you are all wondering about George, he was not on trial here. They all lied. The point isn’t the murder charge or the death penalty, either. This was AT LEAST aggrevated child abuse, and why the jury didn’t at least charge her with that is beyond my comprehension. She had a missing or dead child, depending on which of her stories you believe. If Caylee drowned in the pool, not calling 911 is child abuse because it might be possible to recesitate her. If Zanny took off with her (Ha) not reporting that is agrevated child abuse, because the child could be sold, tortured, raped and killed, and her mother did nothing to help her. The fact that she was the last person to have possession of the child (by her own words “I dropped her off at the babysitter’s”) abd the child turns up dead is also aggrevated child abuse IMO. This jury did not do their job. They had other charges they could have considered. Bad deal!!
No cause of death?? The duct tape (3layered pieces) holding her jaw bone to her skull, tangled in her hair, the laundry bag, Winnie the pooh blanket, the shorts and top, every bit of this evidence going right to the Anthony home. Cindy at work that day, George went to work in the early afternoon and Casey’s Cell phone shows she was in the area for about 4 hours. Later, Casey and Tony go to blockbuster and rent a movie. (All this on tape) No Caylee there. This jury went home after the verdict and went to sleep. When they got up in the morning, the grass was wet, the morning newspaper soaked, and the sidewalk was wet. Hmmm? Wonder if it rained. They go ask a neighbor, “Did you see it rain” No “Did you hear it rain.?” No “Do you know how much it rained?” NO They went back home with a reasonable doubt that it rained. LMAO These people need an IQ Test

If the Jury believed that George was involved with the Duct Tape -
Then here’s what the Jury HAD to conclude from:
George & the Duct Tape –
These are Facts that no-one disputes:
The Duct tape came from the Anthony home.
The Duct tape was on the Missing Caylee Posters, and it was placed on some posters by George.
And, finally it was attached to Caylee’s skull.
So,
I posit that the Jury HAD to believe:
George a was involved in a crime -
A crime involving duct tape -
With said tape ending up on Caylee’s face -
And that George simply fu_ _d up and forgot to get rid of the duct tape.
Then when a Mere 31 Days pass, Not 10 years, 31 Days, – And Caylee is said to be Missing . . .
Aside: George must have said something like “Oh sh_t, I hope I got rid of all the evidence…”
The Jury HAD to believe:
When, the public knew nothing about a crime (other than kidnapping) –
A crime involving duct tape.
George, the guy who put said tape on Caylee’s face during this crime,
fu_ _d up again and grabbed the same exact duct tape from this crime and said :
“Hey you guys need to put up some posters . . . . Wait, I’ve got some Duct tape” . . .
All this from a former Police Officer/Detective.
Thus, I conclude this is what the Jury HAD to conclude:
Not might have concluded.
Not possibly have concluded.
But, HAD to conclude from George & the Duct Tape.
Either George is the biggest f_ _k up ever . . . or this Jury is . . .
What else can explain it . . .
The Duct Tape – DNA or Fingerprints -
The evidence clearly showed that there was NO DNA or Fingerprints on the Duct tape.
It’s also clear that some human being, on this planet, put this duct tape where it was (on Caylee’s Face) . . .
Unless you believe that the Henkle Tape (rare and out of circulation), which clearly came from the Anthony home, magically floated from their home, and instead of landing on all the BAZILLION other places on Planet Earth it could have landed, it landed on Caylee’s Face. Which was triple bagged, wrapped in a blanket, and laying in a swamp down the street from the Anthony home.
Since a human being put this duct tape where it was (on Caylee’s Face).
Let’s consider who might have put this tape on Caylee’s face.
(In alphabetical order)
Caylee Anthony, Casey Anthony, Cindy Anthony, George Anthony, Lee Anthony, Geraldo Rivera,
or the rest of Humanity!
I think that every one would agree that Caylee did not put the tape on her own face.
So that leaves ALL the rest.
Thus NO DNA or Fingerprints on the tape Excludes ALL of them.
And NO DNA or Fingerprints on the tape Includes ALL of them.
To explain the lack of DNA or Fingerprints on the Duct Tape –
The time in the swamp, which deteriorated the evidence, seems to be a logical conclusion to me.
But apparently not to the Jury. I mean even Caylee’s DNA was not found on the tape and it was attached to her skull. But the Jury didn’t accept that prosecution theory.
I posit another theory. A novel concept, that either – this Jury didn’t think of – or since they rejected all the other science in this case – they might have rejected this phenomenon also. As the science of this theory is extremely complicated – unless, of course, you have a PHD in Forensics from MIT.
Theory: THE KILLER WORE GLOVES. DUH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can only assume that the Jury didn’t think of this?
What’s the big deal, I mean wouldn’t wearing a simple pair of Gloves eliminate Fingerprints or DNA?
Even immediately, let alone after six months in a swamp? Somewhere, I can’t remember where exactly, I’ve heard that people, who commit crimes, have used gloves for quite some time. And I believe I’ve heard they use gloves to prevent their DNA or Fingerprints from remaining on the evidence.
But hey, I could have been misinformed . . .
So who was it? Casey Anthony, Cindy Anthony, George Anthony, Lee Anthony, Geraldo Rivera, or the rest of Humanity!
As for the rest of Humanity – I believe they had an alibi!
Well, Cindy was at work – she’s out. Lee was at work – he’s out. George showed up at work, on time, behaving normally – Besides, if he was such a f_ _k up with a simple thing like the Duct Tape, don’t you think the Cops would have found him f_ _ _ ing up something else? And, the Police looked the whole family up, down and sideways, and came out with nothing – Except Casey. The simple truth is that Florida PD spent thousands of hours looking at this case and it all came back to Casey.
Maybe it was because Casey’s cell phone records showed that she was the only family member in her family’s neighborhood on June 16, 2008, until she went to her boyfriend’s house.
That’s pretty damning evidence. Don’t ya think???
Or, according to this Jury’s logic, maybe Jose Baez was right, they just hate Sluts so much down there in Florida, that they just want to strap a Slut to the chair and fry ‘em.
In fact, they must hate Sluts so much; they’d rather fry a Slut, than find the real murderer of a two-year-old girl.
Sound logical ??? . . . Well, at least to the Jury it did . . .

Since the Jury believed George was involved – I would ask them this simple question:
Who asked for, received, and returned the shovel to the neighbor- George or Casey?
The answer, to my knowledge is Casey. That’s what the neighbor said.
So with all this stuff (child missing, dead body smell in car (which Dogs, forget Humans said was there), Casey’s One Million Lies, etc. etc. etc.)
What exactly did SHE, and ONLY SHE, need a shovel for.
A shovel , which SHE asked a neighbor for,
A shovel, which SHE received from the neighbor,
A shovel, which SHE returned to the neighbor within 45 Minutes, I believe.
Oh by the way, I believe that it was testified to in court that George had shovels or a shovel, in the locked up shed. So if George was involved, and needed a shovel why didn’t he just get one from his shed?
I guess the Jury thought George was such a f_ _k up he must have misplaced the key that day!
There is NO, NO, NO George in the shovel event at all. Period!!!!
So again I ask: What EXACTLY did SHE, and only SHE, need a shovel for ????????
Body in Car -
I can only conclude that this Jury believed the Dogs were lying. I mean what other conclusion can one draw. If the Dogs (impartial animals), who are specifically trained to find Human Decomp., not 31-day-old Pizza, and Cindy’s 911 call don’t convince them, that there was a dead body in the car, then they clearly have a different common sense meter than I do. Also, Caylee’s Dolly in the car (not trunk) smelled like death!!!!!!!
Just think what they had to believe.
Cindy called 911 and made up a story that Casey’s car smelled like a dead body.
I mean, why on Earth would they believe that ANYONE, who just found out that their granddaughter was missing/kidnapped, would come up with the idea “Oh geez . . . I think I’ll tell the Cops I smelled a dead body in my daughter‘s car”. And then give the greatest acting performance, EVER, on a 911 call.
If they didn’t believe Dogs and the sincerity of Cindy’s emotion on that call, then there is nothing anyone can do or say to get through to them. Except maybe their Guru, Jose Baez.
Think of the twisted logic these jurors had to follow, to conclude that there was no dead body in the car.
Amazing!!!!
Cause of Death –
Unless I’m mistaken the coroner said she could NOT prove Cause of Death.
The Jury seemed to believe this part of her testimony . . . So VWALLA. . . We’re outta here, let’s go home!!
So here’s an analogy for them:
Assume for a moment that after WWII it was IMPOSSIBLE to detect whether Gas, by Inhalation, would kill someone.
From this Jury’s logic (re: cause of death) I believe that it would be fair to presume that:
If these Jurors found 6 million bodies in a hole, somewhere in Germany, a year after WWII, they would NOT conclude that it was murder. But, that the 6 million people accidentally fell in a hole and where mysteriously covered up.
I mean come on . . .After all Caylee was found in a plastic bag (multiple I believe is correct).
Don’t they think that alone could possibly have, you know, impeded her breath somewhat?
Maybe even to the point of death?
If you don’t think so, try it. Stick a plastic bag (or a few) over your head and see what happens.
Just be sure to have an EMT around when you do it.
That’s why the coroner said you also had to look at Manner of Death, which she said was Homicide.
Because, according to her (coroner), you have to take into account all the circumstances of the event.
I guess they think the coroner must have been lying about this part of her testimony.
That’s not much of a stretch, if you believed the Dogs were lying during their testimony.

Lie and make the whole world look for her missing daughter. Lie, lie, Lie, lie, Lie, lie, Lie, lie, Lie, lie, Lie, lie, Lie, lie, Lie, lie, Lie, lie, Lie, lie, Lie, lie Lie, lie Lie, lie Lie, lie Lie. lie Lie. lie Lie. lie Lie. Look demure, like a schoolmarm. Make up new lie, about Caylee drowning, through her Defense Attorney Jose Baez. Call every body else a liar, through her Defense Attorney Jose Baez. Smile.
No longer look demure, like a schoolmarm. And give the Big Finger to the whole world, through her Attorney Cheney Mason.
I know that the Jury couldn’t consider any of her actions after the acquittal, but it appears, FROM THEIR OWN STATEMENTS, that they didn’t consider anything about her actions . . . EVER.
They thought it was normal behavior. . I mean their Guru Jose’s Expert Grief Counselor told them so . . .
Why should they think otherwise?
Go figure . . .
Well, there you have it. You’re the Jury now. You decide who’s REASONABLE when it comes to reasonable doubt – A. This Jury – or – B. The rest of Humanity.
