Sources are telling BNN that ex-fiance of Casey Anthony, Jessie Grund is on his way to the court house. He could well be up on the stand this afternoon.
While on the ‘defense’ witness list rather than the ‘prosecution’ list, it would seem doubtful that he will have much to say to bolster the defense case.
If anything Jessie Grund represents another ‘land mine’ for the defense team to stand on should the prosecution decide to explore certain aspects.
If it is true that Jessie Grund is going to testify, this could well be an interesting development. Of course the defense likely will use their technique of ‘pop tarting’ witnesses which may well cause a problem for the prosecution to drive their Mack Truck through the door that potentially could be opened. It is an interesting ‘cat and mouse’ game that I am sure the prosecution are not very happy with.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackJesse has said if anything happened to Caylee, Casey would most likely step into another realm and act as though Caylee was never a part of her life because she wouldn’t be able to handle the reality of that.
I can only imagine the duh-fense thinks that will play towards Casey’s aberrant behavior.
I don’t believe Casey willfully killed her daughter. I think she did some messed up stuff that lead to the death of Caylee.
I would like very much to believe that Casey did not purposely kill Caylee but she has not ONCE behaved as an anguished mom, sick over what has happened, whatever it was that happened.
If she told anyone, I think it would have been Lee, and that’s the promise he’s kept to himself for Casey.
It may have been an accident but she was able to blow off her little daughter as though she didn’t mean anything to her.

Jesse G. didnt get to say much. Profer about first meeting Lee, Casey saying he groped her, Jesse saying he didnt want to hear any more but didnt get to say if it was ever brought up later. Another words he never heard Lees side of that story.Maybe Lee knew Jesse was not Caylees father like Casey was saying? Or he was upset that he got her pregnant in the first place. I can see one of my brothers acting like Lee or worse. jmo
It was just a proffer of what the defense wanted . It is hearsay. What I have noticed is that Casey told Tony, Jesse and the inmate in a letter that it was Lee who was the main perp trying to grope her. Is it true? Who knows. Casey in the inmate letter said then and only then that she thinks her father sexually molested when she was younger.
I do hope to hear from Jesse on the side of the prosecution. I want to hear him tell the jury what he said in an interview, that Casey broke it off with him because she felt that he loved Caylee more than her. I think this could go to motive.jmo
None of us in our right mind wants to believe a Mother would murder her precious, helpless child but……Follow the Evidence. It speaks for itself. Even the most deprived women in third world countries take tender care of their
children, in fact they revere them. Casey is just a spoiled bad seed with no conscience. The fact that she can sit and watch her family literally being dragged through the mud when she knows what she did, speaks volumes. It’s clear how much they love her even if it is dysfunctional, but she doesn’t or can’t love anyone back, not even a baby.
Caey loves one person and one person only….Casey.
