Louise Evans (Jodie Whittaker) is a single mother that finds herself in financial hardships. She works at a bank in London and when she is offered a high profile promotion she thinks this is just what she needs in her life right now.

Once Evans gets her promotion, she realizes unfortunately that it comes with an apparently high cost. She learns that her new position is entry into a criminal underworld that she didn’t even know existed. She never would have imagined herself ever involved in something like this.

Louise finds herself in a position where she becomes mixed up with a ring of killers prepared to do anything to pull off their multimillion-pound scam. She goes along with the plan because she could really use the money and she will do anything she has to do to protect her daughter but her problem is that she gets to the point where she doesn’t know for sure who she can trust.

Louise is told by an undercover cop, DCI Crawford Hill (Toby Stephens) that all he wants to do is help her but she isn’t quite sure she can even trust him even though the man does appear to have eyes for her.

Instead of going to the law about the situation she was pulled into Louise starts considering engaging in a bit of the crime herself. It gets to the point where no one involved can actually tell exactly where Louise’s loyalties really are.
