It was with great interest that I watched the prosecution present the cadaver dog evidence. One thing became crystal clear, these highly trained dogs do not make mistakes. If they alert to the smell of human decomposition, they are serious. Everything is meticulously documented.
I have no personal experience with cadaver dogs, but I have been around other service dogs. They are just as dedicated, and just as careful. Several years ago I was talking to a gentleman with a seeing eye dog. The dog had been given the ‘off duty’ command and was laying on the ground. Someone with obviously sight problems of his own failed to notice the presence of a huge German Shepard and stood on one of its paws. I watched in amazement as the dog did nothing more than whimper. This is not the usual dog response! Most want to extract some form of retribution. Most don’t carry guns or knives, but they have a mean set of teeth.
The ‘dog’ testimony in the Casey Anthony trial cuts two ways. And the more I think about it, the less certain I become about deciding if the defense or prosecution won.
In some ways the dog testimony played well for the defense. It could be suggested that Caylee Anthony did indeed drown in the family swimming pool. If the body was fished out shortly after the event any trace of decomposition would be very hard to find. Is it possible that Caylee was scooped out and put on the ground a few feet away? Yes it is.
However we must also consider the other (often contradictory) evidence that has been presented. Why the Duct tape? Why the chloroform? Why the hoopla?
It is a sad statistic, but young children drown in swimming pools and bath tubs all too often.
If it was simple case of accidental drowning, why has it taken almost three years for Casey Anthony to get her day in court?
Why didn’t the defense team led by Jose Baez explain this fact two years ago? I am not a legal expert, but it seems to me that constructing a convoluted story over an accident is pretty stupid.
Had Casey just called 911 at the time she likely would have received nothing more than a good ear bashing from a judge. Now she faces the Death Penalty.
The problem that the jury faces is determining what is real and what is Memorex. A good example of the quandary can be found in this article.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackEveryday the evidence points at one thing, a little girl died and was hidden like garbage, or should I say, a dead animal, tossed aside with a few toys and a heart sticker, near a home (“I feel she is close, Lee”)where a loving grandmother and grandfather provided for her every need. All damning evidence aside, what makes most sense, dotting George dumped her where he might possibly smell the decay of her body from his front door. Or, an evil jealous non-caring mother that once discarded dead pets with heart stickers stuck to them, got mad at her mother for telling her she was unfit, could not believe her own mother would love Casey’s babie more than Casey! So to show her who would have the last word maliciously executed this baby placed a “lovely” little heart sticker on her mouth and dumped her where dumping was familiar! I DO NOT for one minute believe she accidently used too much chloroform, or that she accidently drowned in the pool………no accident at all, planned for freedom and then revenge to hurt her mother, because noone wouldever find the body, she had so cleverly discarded. Plain and simple, no mental illness, just evil in the form of self loving, vengeful, woman….me, me, me, that’s all she ever talks about!
I agree comepletely with your theory. She’s as evil as you can get. She should never have been allowed to be alone with her child. I do think her mom and dad knew she was unfit to be any ones mother. What I don’t understand is how she kept Caylee from her grandparents for 31 days. I would have called the police and Childrens services within one week of Casey not producing Caylee. Been there done that. I’m sure Cindy is feeling a certain amount of responsibilty for not doing more to find Caylee way before a month went by. Parents know deep down inside when there’s a need for concern in this kind of situation. They knew better than anyone what Casey was capable of, and always knew. Now they have to live with the loss of Caylee and the thoughts that they didn’t do all that they could have done to save Caylee. My heart goes out to them and only from the Grace of God go I, & many many more grandparents.

I am so curious to see who all is going to be thrown under the bus before this Bozo defense is finished.
Yes-Jenny Said, Sadly I think all grandparents feel for Cindy and George. We are going through court now against our son in law for fear something like this might happen. Habbitual liar, bad temper and narcisstic. I think all the child murder cases has us all on edge, but never would I wait 31 days before taking action. But you do consider you might be over reacting, surely this would never happen to my grandchild, and a million more things but in the end you must think that this does happen but I would rather over react and be wrong than be in Cindy’s shoes.
And I must say that the other night on Nancy Grace someone suggested that Casey was using xanax (Xanny the nanny) to get Caylee to sleep and left her in the trunk while partying. When she could no longer afford Xanax she started using chloroform and it was an accidental death. Ok isn’t it against the law to drug a child, I know women that use catnip and Benedryl or whatever they can to sedate their children. Alot of people do that, Uh Hummm its drugging a child and its against the law. I hate that people think its ok to treat children that way.
I heard that George was informed a week earlier that he would be accused of molesting Casey. Which explains his “no response attitude” when he heard the defense say it. I missed the info about the shovel! Can anyone help me with that info, who, what, where & when? As to the dogs in the backyard, maybe Casey really wanted to bury Caylee there first & while looking for that perfect spot she laid her down on the ground for a few minutes, until she realized that was a bad idea and took her to the woods where they ultimately found her. It couldn’t have been right after the so called drowning, but after she had Caylee in her trunk for several days or weeks, when she realized she had to do something with her body. As far as whether Casey faked her illness, of course she did. Casey perfected that ability when she was around 5 years old. Crying at will is another ability she’s perfected thru the years. Trust me, until you are peronnally aquainted with or related to someone like Casey, you might not believe it’s possible to do. I wouldn’t doubt that Casey thought of killing Caylee as far back as the day she brought her home from the hospital. I know I sound horrible and hateful, but facts are facts, and Casey is Casey. Whats worse, is that people like Casey, always seem to land on their feet. I pray to God everyday that the Lord doesn’t let that happen this time. God is the only One that can make sure Caylee receives justice for this horrible crime. Especially since Casey may get pregnant again and do the same thing all over again to another innocent child, if she’s found not guilty.
Advise to good grandparents: If the thought of something being wrong or possibly harm coming to your grandchld in anyway, that should be enough to do whatever it takes to protect that child, that’s your job as a grandparent. No one knows your child better than you, so trust those instincts and make a decision, protect those that can’t protect themselves or protect the adults that no longer need your protection. THE CHILDREN ALWAYS COME FIRST.
I dont feel anything but pure hatred towards Casey, cuz who in their right mind wouldnt call the police if their child was missing for 31 days, and also how could any real mother sit there in court and not show any REAL emotions like a true mother would show if they were in same predicament that Casey is in right now, I myself would go ballistic if i found out my child was murdered, the law would have to restrain me, from going after the ones who caused harm to my children, cuz they wouldnt ever see the sunlight any extra day in their lives, for taking the life of my child, NO, but feeling sorry for Cindy, i kinda do to a point, she is the ONLY one that has been showing pure emotion to what a real mother should show, but as for Casey, no one really has seen this type of emotional breakdown that her mother has presented, and Cindy is ONLY the grandmother, Casey is the mother, and she should act more like her own mother is, but she is NOT!!! As for George, I have NEVER in my life seen a grandfather, drive from one town ( Orlando. Fla to Daytona Beach, Fla and to get in a motel room and to what??? Pretend to ” commit suicide” cuz ” he miss Caylee ” ??? To me, there is something majorly fishy going on with that, so since there is no knowledge of whom the father of Caylee is, I just wonder seriously, if these allegations of George molesting Casey really is true, cuz would anyone think that George could be the father of Caylee, and this is why he acted the way he did by ” wanting” to commit suicide???? that is a wonder on my part, now for Cseey, she may have portrayed to her friends that she so called ” LOVED her daughter, BUT…..if anyone in their right mind would NEVER go out partying, taking pictures of her being drunk, and etc.. IF their child had been missing for 31 DAYS!!!!!!!!!…sorry to say this, but i sure as hell wouldnt, and i totally believe that Casey did kill her sweet n cute lil girl, for the fact that she no longer wanted to be tied down, and that she wanted to be able to go out and party like all her friends were doing, and also that she was jealous of Caylee, cuz Caylee was getting ALL the attention that she ( Casey ) wasnt getting from anyone unless it was her boyfriends, and being a single mom, all that is really supposed to be on your mind is the necessities that is required to have and do, for taking care of your child as well as yourself, but in Caseys, mind…..I believe this chic needs to be treated the same exact way that her daughter had to go thru when she died. I have NO sympathies for anyone that harms a child, THIS IS NOT TAKEN LIGHTLY IN MY BOOK, and if she is sentenced to prison, she wont make it there, cuz once the other prisoners get ahold of what all she did to her child, she wont last long..In my Jr High School, I studied about Prisons, and the inmates NEVER take kind to those other prisoners that harms children. So she honestly has the other prisoners and especially GOD that will take care of her…. This is my theroy.
