According to reports, it looks like George and Cindy Anthony are a little upset with their ex-attorney, Brad Conway. They are claiming that Conway has said things on HLN’s Nancy Grace (Entertainment) Show about the Anthony family‘s dynamics and dysfunction that apparently is considered as a breach of attorney-client privilege which would be a violation of state statues and bar rules.
The Anthony’s attorney, Mark Lippman claims he is drafting a pre-suit letter to Conway which is the first step in filing a lawsuit against him. This would seek a protective order to keep Conway from speaking to anyone about his former clients.
“Certainly, he has violated the Florida Bar Rules and Florida Statutes and at the very least they (George and Cindy Anthony) are entitled to a protective order from the court preventing him from discussing his representation of them or using his former representation of them to make analysis for any case,†said Lippman.
Personally I think that everyone knows just how dysfunctional this family is and it isn’t like Brad Conway has said anything that none of us don’t already know. I realize that there is an attorney-client privilege thing here but let’s face it, the only reason they are doing this is because Brad Conway is the only one they can go after and this is another way to get their names back in the news. Could they be upset that their daughter has been getting all the attention these days and no one seems to be showing them pity these days?
The truth of the matter is that the one person that should be getting the attention in all this is rarely even mentioned, unless they are speaking of her remains. Caylee Marie Anthony should be all that the Anthony’s think about right now. They should be fighting for justice for that little girl. Did Caylee ask for any of this? No, she didn’t. Was any of this Caylee’s fault? No of course it wasn’t, but she is the one that has paid dearly for being part of this totally dysfunctional family.
We have been following the jury selection phase of this case and it is clear that somewhere down the line this defense team is planning on using the claim that Casey was sexually abused by her father and brother as a child. Ann Finnel has hinted numerous times that the sexual abuse Casey is claiming could explain her behavior during those 31 days that she didn’t report Caylee missing. Is this a legitimate excuse for how she acted? I should think not.
Ann Finnel presented questions to the prospective jurors asking whether the assertion her client came from a dysfunctional family might factor into their penalty decision. “Lack of parental guidance. Mother and Father failed to protect her as a child,†said Finnel as she spoke of mitigating circumstances to Judge Perry. “The fact that she was verbally and emotionally abused as a child. She was taught poor coping and has poor coping skills by normal standards.â€
Finnel went on to say, “She was taught to project false appearance. She was used as a decoy or pawn by her parents and a scapegoat for parental misconduct.â€
Does any of this matter at this point? Are they seriously going to try to use all this to get their client set free? Does anyone actually believe these excuses? Why should anyone believe a word Casey Anthony says after all the lies she has told from the beginning.
I have never made it a secret about my feelings about the Anthony’s. Anyone that sells photos of their dead granddaughter for thousands of dollars and then takes a weekend cruise vacation, while they were months behind on the mortgage of their home and a numerous amount of other things such as lies and covering up evidence, doesn’t deserve much compassion to me. They inserted their faces and voices into the mainstream media and then complain about the publicity that the case has gotten.
Aside from all of that I honestly do not believe for one minute that Casey Anthony was ever sexually abused by anyone in her family. I think this is all a desperate plea to get her off the death penalty in the case that she is indeed found guilty. The Anthony’s might be a dysfunctional family, but I just can’t see that happening in that family.
Casey controls that family, even her own brother. The only reason they have not gotten her out of this one is simply because they can’t and she probably resents them for that. She hears about them being on the National news and she can’t stand it. She probably was mad about the cruise they all enjoyed while she sat behind bars.
When all of this is over, let’s pray that little Caylee gets some justice. She does deserve it. They all need to remember Caylee and forget about poor Casey. Casey has got this huge team working to protect her and she has her parents standing behind her. Caylee had no one to protect her. She is the one that everyone should be thinking about now. My prayers are with that thought. God bless little Caylee Marie Anthony.

Why do you think Casey has been a mess this week from day one? She has finally realized she is alone and on her own. She threw her entire family under the bus with the allogations of abuse on which I may add she started planting the seed in jail with the letters about sexual abuse. I’m not a Conway fan but come on…he told NG what he THOUGHT the defense would use at trial-George’s alleged molestation against the Murderer. I think they are taking out their anger on Brad instead of who they should be.
How can a defense claim different stories throughout this case and have any effectiveness at all when they finally settle on yet another made up story. First it was Zanny, then they tried to bring Jessie Grund in and then the meter reader and the list and scenarios go on and on. How can professional people (all her attorneys)not see this as suicide for the case. these are adults who are making up such obvious tall tales. How did they make it through high school much less law school. There have been so many stories throughout these many years and it has been so obvious when they think they ‘hit’ on something. Now, it is the molestation thing which they got from her attention seeking letters in prison. It is so transparent. But, her parents DO NOT deserve this. They should fight these allegations, Lee too. I would be so heartbroken if my daughter did this to me. I am sure they are.
oh, and even the duct tape with the ex wife of the meter reader. that went no where – don’t they see that everyone knows what they are up to. all lies and grasping for a defense. It just angers me that they are wasting so much of the states money.

The constant grooming is very disconcerning. Very hard to watch her over and over again play with herself. She is an obsessive compulsive person. first of all, I do believe she was sexually abused by her father. She has so many classic signs. However that is no excuse for what she has done. The anthony’s know its true and that is why they were so desperate to speak to her before her trial started. Now they are going after Brad, to take some of the attention off them, as far as all the abuse in that family. I don’t believe much of what casey says, but I do believe she told her mom and her mom didn’t believe her. I still think she deserves the death penalty. I feel like george and cindy had no prob. with casey ex defense attorny ms. boden, saying casey lied about the babysitter, and everyone knows it…but wait, didn’t both george and cindy say there was a babysitter…hmmmm, they lie as bad as Casey does and they are an abnormally dysfunctional family. There were a family of secrets. Hiding her pregancy, never allowing casey to have friends over. Never speaking with the neighbors, They have lied and lied under oath. I don’t feel one bit sorry for them. the only one I feel sorry for is little Caylee and her little black eyes. We will never know how much abuse this child suffered before she was murdered. by the whole family. I think the only one that truly loved the little girl was Jesse Grund and Lee’s girlfriend Mallory. You are correct. It seems everyone is forgetting what these long three years have really been about. Little Caylee. Little Caylee who never harmed a flea, loved everything and everyone and simply wanted to be able to breathe.
During this trial, that is and needs to be the main focus..not all the pomp and circumstance but the simple truth.

I agree with alll the comments above, even the on that George may have abused Casey. What father wallks in to see their grown daughter and says “hello beautiful”? I wouldn’t like my father saying that to me. I do think that Caylee is being forgotten in this mess of a trial. No one would be there if little Caylee was alive. Please lets all try to keep her name in this. And one other thing that is really bothering me is the question the attorney’s are asking the potential juror’s” The law allows the state to have a victium statement come in before the DP is handed down and they say it can be hard to listen to. Well wait a minute who is going to do this? No one in the Anthony family is going to get up there and tell how much it has hurt them to loose CAYLEE. They will get up there and beg for Casey’s life. How is that fair? Who is going to get up and speak on behalf of Caylee. Hopefully Cindy’s mother will. She had made a statement that she didn’t know if Casey loved Caylee more than she hated Cindy. She is the only one that could get up during that stage of the trial and plead for justice to be done to CAYLEE’S killer. Anyone agree with me? The Judge should not allow this phase in the trial. There is no one to speak on Caylee’s behalf and that is what this trial is about.
Casey has a narcissistic personality problem and if you research the narcissistic personality you will learn it is a deep psychological problem usually with the person and their Mother..
What happened in court on Thurs. when Casey’s hand froze up is a hysterical reaction to anxiety…I wonder if she is carrying her sweater(the next day) so she will have something to do with her hands. She is extremely self conscious. ….even taking a sip of water is almost role playing…she knows the cameras are on her.

Those hypothetical victim statements that Ann Finnell is bringing up to the potential jurors has had me scratching my head too. You can bet your bottom dollar George, Cindy and Lee won’t be submitting any painful victim letters to the court.
Caylee Marie became a faint and distant memory the moment George and Cindy discovered Casey’s car with the smell of death at the tow yard. They both knew something was terribly wrong, and instead of alerting LE, they took that car home and then commenced in destroying evidence. They hadn’t seen or talked to Caylee for a month, but Cindy had been in contact with Casey during that period. You’ll never convince me otherwise, they positively knew right then that they would never see her alive again.
The Anthony’s wasted no time in setting up a lucrative non-profit foundation for a missing Caylee. Tim Miller was brought in and when he wouldn’t continue to search for a live Caylee, Cindy turned savage.

I’m praying to God that Lee will tell the truth on the stand. (He knows what he did) Dominic Casey’s testimony will be the jaw dropper IMO.
Pardon the mini rant folks, but there is no way these jurors are going to be subjected to painful victim’s statements from the immediate family. Perhaps the Grund’s will step up. I certainly hope so. Ann Finnell is full of it in this regard.

SHE KNEW ON SATURDAY WHEN SHE TRIED TO SEE CASEY THAT SHE WAS GOING TO THROW GEORGE AND LEE UNDER THE BUS. YET SHE STILL WENT TO SEE HER. THAT WAS ALL STAGED SHE KNEW SHE WOULD BE TURNED AWAY.CINDY TALKED GEORGE INTO THIS TO SAVE CASEY.THE POOR MAN DIDN’T HAVE A CHANCE.NO ONE CAN SAY NO TO CINDY.
How about this….I been thinking alot about it , first I must say Casee us guilty that is for sure we all know this. Maybe when she was found out to have killed her daughter she threatened her parents with telling about the sexual abuse. Maybe that is why Cassie said her mother loved the child more than her in a statement – maybe because the child was FAMILY more than we know. If this baby had a daddy that supposedly was killed in a motorcycle accident and she KNOWS who he is then WHY arent these other grandparents coming forward now and seeking justice for the grandchild they could have known? WHERE are the other grandparents? THINK how many young men were killed senior year of HS on a motorcycle? Dosent take a scientist to figure out if that was yours or my son get it.

So maybe, just maybe Cassie killed her daughter because she was so jealous and couldnt take it anymore that her mother was so loving to a child she actual had hate for because of the sexual incest? So maybe true or not – who knows – it would make sence though to why she killed the innocent child. The child – Caylee- didnt deserve death or abuse , so sad.. And Cassie dosent get any credit from me if all this proves to be true – death was un-deserving to the innocent she should have went to the police if even later and in another town if she had to and then she couldve put the child up for adoption. a hissy-fit because Baez would not come close
to her and had her boxed in with two or three

first of all, well said naturpartnr!!! until this week I agreed with alot of what the above comments are related to. but no more..after the BS opening statement BOZO threw at the jury and especially GEORGE & CINDY. not only did baez say on one of the media networks that we would know in the first minute of him standing up what “really” happened, it took him 10 minutes to get that lie to come out of his mouth. next, in my opinion, tony lazzaro is an awesome upstanding individual. he and his roommates all seemed to be so well mannered and trusting kids. Casey can spin a web without missing a beat and did to everyone in her and caylee’s life. she didn’t just manage to destroy her 2 yr olds life but all her “friends” and most importantly her family. I could not imagine having to go through what they have and are going through. caylee’s grandparents and uncle did way more for her than her own mom. today while cindy was on the witness stand, describing the pictures of her home and property, when the pictures of caylee’s area came up and she became emotional, the camera panned over to the defendant…NOTHING!!! but when the judge decided cindy needed a break to collect herself, once again the camera went to the defendant and if anyone knows how to read lips, check out that footage..no blocking her mouth there and purposely looking for the camera that was on her..what i read was disgusting. (it will be posted on youtube..under read my lips: casey anthony). oh, natur i like what you said about her tantrum, but wasn’t that the day she had to wear the ugly green granny shirt? and that was also the day the the mic was on and BOZO was heard saying, “oh really? you’re acting like a 2 yr old” I honestly believe it was because of the shirt, that girl is so vain and SO GUILTY!!
