This is a guest article from our good friend, T.J.Hart from TheSky97.3 out of Gainesville, Florida.
When I read this story, I was heartbroken. What made a group of teens along with a young girl, so determined to kill someone else? Making matters worst the boy they killed was only 15 years old. What could this boy have done that was so bad that triggered this group off to go as far as plan something as violent as this? I do pray for the family of young Seath Jackson. I am sure they will have more questions about why this happened. I pray they get their answers and the ones responsible for his death pays dearly. – Jan Barrett
Here is TJ’s story:
A group of older teens and an ex-girlfriend lured a 15-year-old boy to a Florida house, where they carried out a plan by beating him, shooting him dead and burning his body, police said.
Marion County Sherriff’s investigators made six arrests Tuesday night in connection with death of 15-year old Seath Jackson of Summerfield.
Jackson was reported missing Monday by his mother.
According to Marion county Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jennifer Lowe, on Tuesday, a woman told deputies her 16-year-old son had witnessed Jackson’s murder. The teen, who has been charged with murder, told detectives how the group plotted and carried out the crime.
Investigators also arrested a 15-year-old girl, 18-year-old Charlie Kay Ely, 18-year-old Michael Shane Bargo, 20-year-old Justin Solo and 37-year-old James Young Havens III. Havens is the step-father of the 15-year-old and the boy who talked to investigators.
Lowe told the SKY Havens assisted the young people with hiding the remains and also drove the shooter to Starke to allude authorities.

I just read this story and cannot even begin to express how my heart goes out to the Jackson family for their sudden and neverending loss of such a young and handsome boy. I was sickened by the details of such a horrific crime and again, to such a young and handsome boy. There is nothing on god’s green earth that he could have done to any of those poor excuses for human beings that equaled them to premeditate and carry out such a tradegy of events. I have a 9 yr old son – my only child – and it’s disgusting people like the ones who hurt poor Seath that make me as a parent scared to even let my child explore the world of friends outside of school time and technology in general as he gets older. I hope the younger murderers invlolved are tried as adults and each and everyperson involved in this is givne the maximum penalties allowed. I’m unsure of Florida laws but I hope the death penalty is an option. None of them deserve to see the light of day ever again! RIP Seath Jackson. I didn’t know you, but am sure you were the sweetest.
