Inside The World Of WikiLeaks

When the web site Wikileaks first started it was greeted by yawns and indifference. The web was already awash with sites dedicated to conspiracies and whistle blowing. What made Wikileaks any different?

We now know the answer to that question. Wikileaks was different, they opted to go where other sites feared to tread. What is less well known is the involvement of rather staid traditional media such as The New York Times, The Guardian (UK), and Der Spiegel (Germany).

The DVD Julian Assange: A Modern Day Hero? Is not slated to hit the streets until May/3, I was however permitted a peek at the documentary. Before you ask, NO I am not connected with Wikileaks in any shape or form. To the best of my knowledge I have never had any connection with anyone even remotely connected with the organization.

Does this documentary answer all the questions about Julian Assange and wikileaks? No it does not! Is it worth watching? Yes it is!

Some of the footage has been seen before, but much of it, interviews with Julian Assange and others have never been seen before.

I am pretty certain that the version of the DVD is in its final retail package. Directing credits are given to A. N. Other, and the producer is a gentleman by the name of John Smith.

I’ll save you the effort in case you do not get the joke. These are fictitious names!

Will this DVD cause waves? YES it will!

I will have more on this project when it gets closer to hitting the store shelves. But I will say this, it is 3 hours of material well worth spending the time to watch.
