Zahra Baker is the little Australian girl that captured the heart of the world when her little body was found in parts scattered in different areas in North Carolina. This 10 year old child had the most gorgeous smile on her.
Today an indictment was handed down on Elisa Baker, Zahra’s stepmother, for second degree murder of Zahra Baker. The indictment cites aggravating factors saying that Elisa Baker had a history of physical abuse of Zahra. It also says that she desecrated her body to hinder detection and prosecution of the killing. Zahra’s stepmother was still in jail after she was arrested in October on charges of obstructing justice in the investigation of Zahra’s disappearance after she admitted to authorities that she was responsible for a fake ransom note involved in the case.
Until this morning, no charges had been made against anyone in the death of this precious child. Documents show where Elisa Baker led the police to where Zahra’s remains could be found. Warrants revealed that cell phone records show that Elisa was indeed in the area that the child was found but Adam’s cell phone records show that he was not in the same area on the day that his wife said he was. Elisa told authorities that her husband was the one that dismembered his daughter and helped dispose of the parts afterwords.
Adam Baker, Zahra’s father did an interview on 60 Minutes over the weekend and denied any wrong doing claiming he was not guilty of anything to do with harming to his daughter. He did admit that one time he noticed that Zahra had a black eye and when he questioned it, his wife quickly spoke up with an explanation and Zahra agreed with it. Adam Baker admitted he thought his wife had been abusing his daughter at that time.
Everyone has been waiting for someone to be charged with this gruesome murder. It would take an animal to do what someone did to this baby. How anyone can do it and still hold their head up I will never understand. I pray that this doesn’t drag out and this woman (if indeed is guilty) will pay for what she has done.
God bless the children of the world. There has to be some way we can protect our children better. Adam Baker might not be guilty of any of this but if he felt that his wife was abusing his daughter, he is wrong for not doing something about it. Little Zahra could still be alive if only he had stood up to his wife. God bless you Zahra, may you rest in peace dear one. God bless all the other abused, missing and murdered children. Don’t let any of their cases go unsolved. Help find ones like Haleigh Cummings and Adji Desir and Zachary and all the others out there.

I don’t care how loud the father protests his innocence, even if he didn’t “Harm” his child, where was he during the 2 weeks from the time Zahra went missing and the time he called to actually REPORT her missing??? He’s as responsible for his daughter’s death as step-monster is.
The husband is responsible for that child’s well being and his b.s. on 60 mins just proves he is a self serving moron who should never have had charge of a child. How can a parent ignore obvious signs ? He didnt care enough and he deserves the full measure of the law the useless creep !

This is good news. I hope she rots in hell. Now where are the indictments for Adam and the mother of Shaynia Davis.. (another NC child). I believe she should be held accountable for selling her daughter for sex to settle a drug debt.

On Nancy Grace last night, a forensic pathologist stated that the marks on Zahra’s bones appear to be stab wounds, not dismemberment marks. He believes she was killed in a stabbing frenzy. My heart just aches for the poor little girl. What terror she must have felt during this assault as in “Oh My God, she’s not stopping this time; she means me REAL harm!”
Motherplucker! This bitch of a “stepmother” needs to be torn apart, alive, limb by limb. It makes me feel positively medeival; let’s pour boiling oil on her, or tie her to horses and tell them “to get.” Tar and feather her. Put her on a bed of nails. Nothing feels quite dastardly enough to make her suffer like Zahra did.
The father may not have killed her but he certainly failed her. I feel certain that he knew what happened.
I believe Adam needs to be charged too. he had to of known that step-monster was abusing her. and not report her missing for how long? just sick.
i would like to know where Adam was when the dismemberment was taking place.? Also where was he when the evil stepmother wrote the fake note? He is just as guilty as the stepmother. Why hasn’t charges been filed against him. And where is he right now living? I don’t see how he can live with himself after all the abuse this poor child suffered in her short life. Earlier today, investigators responded to a boat ramp near Buchanan Circle in Satsuma, to a report of what appeared to be a human skull found near the edge of the water. Investigators located the object in approximately 4″ of water near the shore. The object has been confirmed to be a plastic replica of a human skull. The skull is similar in type to a skull commonly used as a Halloween decoration.
Just thought some of you might want to read this info from the PCSD news site. Now this is just strange, can you imagine being out on your dock and finding this? jmo

Jan just put up a knew post on this. it would give me a heart attack, in a way I wish it was Haleigh she needs Justice and her family needs answers.
I would torture this bitch until she told where she put the this ittle girls head. We let people get away with things way too easily. She the so called step-mother has NO rights! What now..a few years in jail. I too think the Father must be punished. I pray the worst and a very slow death to both.
