I served two tour in combat and a couple of isolated independent duty hardship tours overseas. We could not have conducted our missions successfully if it were not for the contributions they made. I share your outrage that this heroic helicopter pilot, Lori Hill, did not receive the recognition she justly deserved, but I can assure you, this brave soldier did not commit her selfless act in the expectation of receiving acolades, she did it because she's a damned good soldier.
