I am pleased to announce that co-authors Denny Griffin and Andrew DiDonato will be my guests on Thursday at 1pm eastern to discuss their newly published book Surviving The Mob.

Who are these people? Dennis N. Griffin is a Las Vegas based author and crime investigator. His books include the Battle For Las Vegas that chronicles the war waged between Organized Crime and Law Enforcement  to gain control over the desert gambling mecca. He followed that up with Cullotta, a book that details the life and crimes of Vegas based Chicago mobster Frank Cullotta. It is also the only book that I can think of that solved a 27 year old double homicide.

His latest book Surviving The Mob takes us inside the world of the Big Five New York crime families. Co-author Andrew DiDonato was a foot soldier for the Gambino family, but also had close relationships with members of other families. Andrews life of crime came to a screeching halt in 1997. A wanted man on both sides of the law he did what had for years he had deemed impossible. He became a Government Witness.

Life being a Government Witness and being part of The Witness Protection Program has been glamorized in the movies, reality is far different. Freedom is not free, it comes at a steep price. To ‘roll’ was to tell the truth about everyone, there was no picking and choosing. Friends and enemies alike, there was no difference.

Andrew DiDonato wanted to tell his story, but was unsure how best to do it. It was not fame and fortune that he was seeking, rather he was seeking a non judgmental and impartial way to relate his story. It was as a result of the book Cullotta, that Andrew discovered Denny Griffin.

Even that story is a good one, Andrew DiDonato is still very concerned about his safety, contact was made through a third party.

I do hope that you will be able to join us on Thursday at 10am pacific, 1pm eastern. This will be an interview that you will not want to miss.
