I have always enjoyed reading about people doing strange things. Holding up a bank and writing the demand on the back of your personalized deposit slip, or some of the great DUI stories, try this one. If you want watered down news sponsored by Big Food, Big Pharma, or Big Media tune into the network news of your choice. If you want politically correct news and “smirky” polite news anchors, then this is not for you.

But if you want the real news – the really wacky and crazy weekly news about all of the silly and stupid things people do, then tune into The Wackiest News Stories of the Week on Blog Talk Radio on Tuesday at 4:00 PM EST, 1:00 PM PST December 21, 2010.

Simon Barrett, Mannie Barling, Ashley F. Brooks and a surprise weekly guest will team up to give you every strange and funny story not appearing in major newspapers. If someone “screws up” we will have the story for you.

It’s Saturday Night Live meets 60 Minutes. It is the prodigy of The Washington Post having sex with the National Inquirer – a no-holds barred look at all of the stupid and funny things Americans do that don’t make the Nightly News. The news stories will be The Wackiest News Stories of the Week.

From home burglars dumb enough to accidentally call 911 and tell the police their names to the fool who pointed a garden hose watering device at the police and was shot to death, Wackiest News Stories will be there to cover it all.

If you have a dumb, stupid or funny story, call in and share it with our audience or send us an email with your story and we will give you time to tell your story. No story is too dumb or too funny for our show. From the ridiculous to the sublime, Wackiest Stories will find it for you.

Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 4:00 PM EST and 1:00 PM will be the beginning of a new kind of news. Stories about the totally absurd and strange. It will be unlike any news show you have ever listened to or seen.

Most news programs scramble to find news to cover. Our problem is deciding what not to cover! Idiocy abounds! It is so rampant that I am surprised that it is not a degree option offered in Universities.

I do hope that you will join us for our premier, the listen live link is here.
