It’s also likely that folks are weighing and measuring the reality of our situation as a whole and have decided that neither “side” has an agenda that truly meets the needs.
Now that neither side tips the scale it’s time for them to work it out amongst theirselves as representatives of we, the people, together, for the good of the whole.

(I have relatives who are Democrat and relatives who are Republican. IMVHO It’s past time for the disfunctionality to cease.)

Do you think it’s possible that Americans are too smart these days to fall for the rhetoric spewed by politicians? I am a good citizen. I pay my taxes. I don’t speed. I don’t steal, etc. I try to spread love and material help to others in need. However, I know that no human beings can give the people what they desperately need. Only a theocracy of the true God can do that. Jesus could have taken part in the political scene of his day but he did not. He said that God’s kingdom would do that. That is the purpose of the miracles he demonstrated. Maybe people are studying God’s Word and staying away from worldly entanglements.
