Read a bit, and you will find such a move will be deadly to India, China, and other countries that are worried about an Islamic insurgency that predated the US noticing it on 9-11. and if you want to see what happens when no one "intervenes", check out Somalia, which is destablizing East Africa, or the Central African war that has killed 4 million. I am always amazed at Americans assuming this is an “American” dilemma.
