I came across your web site and book review section and wish to offer my compliments. I have just published a true but dramatized Civil War story that may be of interest for those with Civil War ancestors. See review at http://scottmingus.wordpress.com/2010/03/12/book-review-hiram/ if interested.

Celia-Thanks for a fair and honest review.Your criticisms were like my own, of my own work. An editor said I really needed to drop from 95,000 words to 75,000, so the war narrative and terrain description suffered. I'll pick up some of it in the sequel, in flashbacks. Sequel is 3/4 finished-tentatively titled WHAT GOES ROUND.
