The news about the Haleigh Cummings case has been in short supply for some time. The Putnam County Sheriffs Office are tight lipped. That is understandable, in the early days of the investigation they did make a few gaffs. Who was talking to the press, and which story was being told? That situation was resolved quickly, the press were given a ‘point man’ and everyone else was told to be quiet.

Hews concerning the Haleigh Cummings case has been well regulated for many months. Occasionally the press is fed scraps, generally when the authorities seem to want our support in some fashion.

I was talking to my good friend TJ Hart of The Sky 97.3 yesterday, while he was out covering another news story he happened to bump into Dominic Pape of the FDLE. Dominic Pape is one of the FDLE resources working on the Haleigh Cummings case.

While there was little new to be learned from this brief encounter, it does show that the case is still a very active one. We can only hope that at some point soon some answers will start to emerge, and charges will be placed on those guilty.

You can listen to the interview here.

We will be running our regular Sunday broadcast to talk about the Haleigh Cummings case, and I will have an update on that tomorrow.

The comment section on this thread has been shut down because of those that refuse to follow the rules. I was given no choice because it had gotten out of hand and it was hard to tell who started what. So for those that insisted on carrying the fighting on instead of letting it go, you can only blame yourself!
