The LE in Putam can’t be belived if you read what thier locals say.

If you look into the PCSD booking files you will see there are African american Sheffields and Griffis too. Not all the Cummings are related either. jmo

7 Florida Deputies Suspended after Rowdy Night at Bar

SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) — Florida authorities say seven deputies have been suspended without pay because of their rowdy behavior at a bar.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office says the deputies are members of an undercover anti-drug team.

Sheriff Tom Knight said Thursday an investigation began after an anonymous letter detailed the deputies’ actions on May 27.

According to an internal affairs report, the men ordered more than three dozen alcoholic drinks, hassled waitresses and patrons and snapped illicit pictures of themselves in the bathroom.

The report states that officials could not conclude whether the deputies were drunk when they drove their county vehicles later that night.

Each deputy was cited for conduct unbecoming of an officer. The suspensions vary from three days to six days.

Good thing ronbo wasn’t there. He would have cleaned house.

I have been reading some very interesting facts on WRITEINTOACTION ON YOU TUBE..their is a site made by tim holmsmith he is a investigator..he has filed and sent several reports to FBI about all the lies that are revolving the Haleigh case..this is very very interesting..PLEASE READ..it states so many things..for example the FIRST 911 call came at 213, and the call came from Tommys house a few houses down the road..from Mistys,,and that is when the original call that Haliegh was missing..but the info that night was not put on the police scanner..the officer at the call wanted to talk on the phone to inform police dept. what was really going on..and how their are PICS..of HALEIGHs PRIVATE PARTS at the police station..something to do with sexual abuse..the grandma at one point wanted to walk into the police dept to report it, and someone stopped her and told her..all the police are involved in the child prostituion ring..PLEASE READ..if you read all the info..something really doesnt make sense..especially pertaining to the police dept..

also how the haleigh spottings in other states have never been actually checked out..the one at the goodwill that someone said they saw a man and lady with a child that looked like haleigh and her name was HALEIGH..which was days after she was reported missing..THEY never even called the goodwill store to get the video footage..of the custumers that dayor any other, they never contacted the store, the people, or even the gas station where another sighting took place around that time..how no one at the police dept will say exactly WHY they were at Tommys an hour before the 911 call that we the american public heard..which is NOT the actual first CALL about haleigh missing..WHY??would the police dept. want to lie about the call?? When they heard of the fake site, that Chrystals family made along with others, trying to frame someone else for the dissappearance of Haleigh ( a fake search site) WHY didnt they think that was unusual?? Why wasnt anyone questioned about that?? Why would Chrystal go back to sleep after she found out Haleigh was misiing? Why would it take her 6 hours to get to Rons, when its only a 1 hour drive?? Why didnt they let the cadaver dogs in the car sniff the crime scene that night?? Why did they wait hourss…for other dogs?? or days?? And the bedding on haleighs bed where she was sleeping was grabbed off her bed and thrown over the outside stair railing of the house by the police, so all the evidence was now waiving in the wind and air and now would be noooo good..their are so many facts..that are so strange..but not just about one party or person, but several…

Its interesting ggt, no doubting you there. But, with this case, imo, you have to check everything out before believing it.

The dogs that were in the car were not search or cadaver dogs, they were police take down dogs. Big difference. They may have needed them if there was a suspect on the run in the woods but thats the only reason they would be used. jmo

I have said from day 1 that LE blew it. They pinned ALL hopes on Misty-a drugged up child. It was the least amount of work for them-and they assumed that because they live in a MH, that they MUST have had something to do with Haliegh’s disappearnce—-poor poor assumptions. Tobias- you are right about the different types of Dogs available.
My nephew trained K-9 enforcement dogs- used for chasing & holding a supect.
But according to him there are also:
SAR- Search & Rescue- used to locate a suspect who has left the scene before police arrived or for missing persons.
Detection Dogs- for drugs or explosives.
Cadaver Dogs- search for dead bodies.

Haleigh would have had a better chance if LE would have let the neighborhood dogs out to search for her then she did with the sloppy work that the “expert” bloodhound handlers did. I have talked to many different dog handlers about the handlers dragging out the bedding they all just shake their heads and say “no way.”

But according to what Gail St Johns said after her interview with JS and his brother, JS used to run the dogs for PCSO and his brother still does. Take that bit of info however you want it.

Oh Man!! That little bit of information made my jaw drop. Maybe the unimaginable is the truth. Could it be that Misty really is telling the truth?? Could it be that Tommy really is as dumb as a brick and made up stupid stories just thinking that it would somehow get him out of jail?? Could it be that the truth is the most logical and straightforward scenario, but one that LE has never entertained and has steered all thinking away from since the very beginning? Maybe the ends DO justify the means and Haleigh is alive and set for a better life.

No I dont think this case will ever be solved either..Number one..these people or most people, would not be able to move a body..by whatever condition..with no CLUES AT ALL..no blood, no nothing. mistys future was bleak before Haleigh disappeared and she got into drug trafficking AFTER she went missing.

Florida law trumps what we all feel is right.

Floridians have chosen those sentences through their representitives. If those reps aren’t doing right by floridians, vote them out and help move the process of reducing prison time or raising prison time based on the crime, forward.

Imo, the ones who did do something about sentencing got them set where they are. Others can work hard to change them, if they feel that strongly.

I feel most people only complain without effort to resolve on this issue.

They can test her and figure out what she needs.

She will need to stay away from the ones who want to buck up while inside.

She may be defiant all the time away from cameras, she may not. I don’t really know.

I’ve been following Jan & Simon’s coverage of this case for quite sometime now. I respect the release of factual information that they produce and the information that is produced by some of their audience here. The actual transcript of the dispatched call @ 2:13am to Tyler has been posted here numerous times. I don’t recall anyone not wanting to discuss the substance of the run through dispatch. The transcript of the officer at the scene and the dispatcher was the official transcipt and not someone elses’ opinion of the run or call. I’ve surfed for info on the internet, news reports, interviews with involved individuals, tapes/videos, and a few web sites and choose to form my opinion on what is actual fact based information and from my experiences. Nothing surprises me about any of these cases. All IMO

Well, jaba, I am planning to attend at least the first day of Misty’s St. Johns trial, so if I see a limo waiting outside, first I’ll wave then let you know about it, LOL.

Blood hounds were brought in from the prison because PCSD does not have their own search and rescue dogs. They have police take down dogs that are ride alongs(most places do).

That was my point. There were blood hounds there, ready and waiting in a car to look for HaLeigh. Instead of releasing the dogs to look for her, they sat in a car. PCSO felt that the dogs from Jacksonville would be “better”.

IMO, the better thing to do would be release the dogs that were on scene and then let the dogs that arrived from Jacksonville work when they got there.

Like I said previously, every second counts.

We do know that after his plea his attorney (Werther?s) stated that Tommy cooperated with LE but that they wanted more infomation.

My point is: we can’t just dismiss Tommy as a suspect, can we?

Alex, It’s strange, but from day one, My stomach gets upset and my mind goes on “red alert” just looking at tommy. It’s the same feeling I use to have about my brother. John W Sharp- Somestimes popularity/celebrity counts too. Everyone should be judged on the evidence presented. But sometimes evidence is disallowed because of something stupid an attorney on either side did or errors made by LE. Because of that I do fee, sorry for Tommy.
methinks- I can understand how you feel about Tommy and he could very well be guilty, each of us bring our experiences with us if we go into a jury room. That’s why I feel that it’s good to have people seeing things from different perspectives and who are able to judge based on the evidence provided & common sense.

DustyRose…that makes perfect sense to me. I think some get so caught up in the gossip and opinions and assumptions, they forget the facts.

No body. No evidence. No motives. No suspects. No persons of interest. No nothing.

Fact: Haleigh is “Missing”.

We don’t know if she wandered away, or if she got in the car with someone earlier that evening, or if she was abducted, or harmed in the MH, or harmed out in the woods, or harmed in another county, or taken to another state, or kidnapped by a well meaning relative, or raped, or taken by a pedophile, or accidently drugged, or who picked her up from the bus stop, or hit in the head, or if she really was put to bed that night, or if she was at someone else’s house, or suffocated, or buried, or drowned, or sold for prostitution, or pawned for drug payment, or put in a trunk, or put in a van, or fed to the alligators, or even who really was the last person to see her!

All these things are theories that we all have. And a lot of them come from great imaginations and on ‘personal judgments’ of the people involved.

I love this case. I’s so exciting. I am also worried about haleigh, but I have to admit I love gossip rumors and a good mystery. Some times I think we bloggers probably have more theories than the police.

I read an article that said people who follow this case have been having vicious fights on the internet. so much that the auther begged us to be civil with each other.

I wonder what it is agout this case that causes violent (exaggertion) disagreements.

Even with Cobras issues in Putnam, he raved about LE there.

CathyJo, I had missed the part where it said Misty told dispatch that she was last seen between 2 and 2:30am. Misty is now saying 3 all she saw was 3 on the clock and Ronald came home shortly after she awoke. Ron and Misty say that Ronald got home at 3:23am. I believe it is safe for us to assume that Misty was saying that she awoke around 3am or a little after, but that is not what is stated in this article or in the original police report.

Cool. Mine is in Healthcare Administration. I don’t currently work as an Administrator though. I am more of a school nerd. In addition to the PhD, I have two Masters and a BSN. I won’t get too specific on my jobs in the blog, but good for you for going to school. It’s a lot of hard work.

Was Ron ever convicted of abuse to anyone (kids or otherwise)? Or was he just accused? Just curious. If someone has info, I would like to look at that.

looking for Justice said,in June 27th, 2010 at 5:35 pm Cricket I was just wondering if Misty did in fact tell LE that it was around 2 – 2:30am she last saw her and then changed it later to 3am or a little after because too much time would have passed before calling 911 after Ron came home. It was a non-emergency call to Tyler @ 2:13 for a disturbance. When LE arrived, they weren’t able to verify. The officer was still in the area when the 911 call came out and responded to the MH.
Some on here stated that the call to Tyler was a barking dog complaint. I’m not sure about that, never verified.
Some stated here also, that Misty was @ the call on Tyler with HaLeigh. Not verified. Can’t recall if that was stated by NayNay or WBG during their interviews. Never clarified.

I think there are people out there that know exactly what happened to Haleigh and where she is! I think maybe Kim Piccazio is holding out for her next 15 minutes of fame if it comes around again. That depends if someone finds the truth, then she can spill out all of her attorney/client privleged information.

Cobra says he thinks le has the ‘chain of custody’ or events figured out but can’t prove it. I hope he’s right. If they do have it figured and happen to have one or more behind bars for another crime, then maybe the streets are safer in multiple ways.

Tobias, I think that was in reference to drugs or his behavior. She was angry at him and thought he was using her as a babysitter. I in no way believe she was talking about the disappearance of Haleigh. It was in regards to LE looking at how bad he is, instead of making her out to be the bad one. That seems out of context.

Alex, unless there is a witness or one of the parties state that a physical alteration took place, they don’t even make one of the parties leave. I have had to call on my neighbors (that have thankfully moved out last month) several times. The police say there is no law against yelling at each other. The only time they ever removed one was when I saw one go after the other with a baseball bat in the front yard. Three days later they were back together because she didn’t actually hit him with the bat, just was threatening to.

Is the protective order for sure? If so it had to be very early in the case or unfounded or else how would R have gotten official custody of both kids so long ago?

As far as DCFS telling R how to discipline the children, that is GREAT! IMO. I hope they also told CS. I wish DCFS had the ability to require parents to go to serious parenting classes. That would help so many children.

I agree M2c. I asked a friend of mine who is a social worker for the county where I live and she told me that there could be a lot of factors tied into the whole situation. She mentioned things like, DCFS could of been following these people from when they were younger (perhaps their parents were being helped), teenage pregnancies, socio/economic conditions, involvement with arrests, accepting welfare, and all sorts of things.

So, for example, CS’s family could of been getting food stamps or medicaid, so DCFS followed them case wise. CS becomes pg and they follow up with her prenatal care, she has a disabled child, so they follow up, etc.

I think a lot of people have the mindset that they just popped into the picture because she says Ron beat her and the kids, etc. I don’t think that is the case.

I too wish they had the power to require parents to go to parenting classes (and not just the young under privledged ones either). And I also agree that the courts deal with this stuff all the time, and go off of DCFS’s recommendations a lot of times. I also see the protective order as anger on CS’s part towards Ron. Doesn’t always amount to what it looks like.
