We have been going to Paris (my husband on business) for 40 years and always, with few exceptions, make hotel Le Relais Saint-Germain, 9, carrrefour de l'Odeon our home away from home. The 6th IS Paris for me!! I walked every step with you through the book, my Paris map in hand. So many of your restaurands, shops, cafes, etc., are my daily haunts! Wonderful book! Having visited Fran in Paris for more than a day or two & stayed w/ her I can tell you that -- although it is part fiction, part memoir (as she says, of sorts) -- it is delightful & truly on the mark. She loves Paris and it shows. I bought it out of friendship, but read it w/ delight, & you will too.
