The Jill personality (or wicked witch) lives next door and has all of the other neighbors hating us. We are putting our house up for sale and I can't wait until the day we our out of here. She has made life unbearable for my kids when we have to be around. For the most part we do things with friends away from here as much as possible so we aren't around. Actually, after a couple of years one of the women in my neighborhood asked me why I 'hated' X. I was surprised because I had not spoken ever about X. I was puzzled and then decided to tell this lady how X during our first year had asked me to report her best friend to the tax office, about something X openly complained about. I then felt ashamed that I had got involved with saying nasty things, but it was the truth and I was fed up with all the nastiness. There was a gasp and complete surprise, and X since, has been waving from her front yard like mad to me. Which is sad but funny. I keep a distance from them and have my own friends outside the housing estate and feel much happier. But this article did strike a sore point with me and I am an old lady. It was a joy to read when Mary turn,an stood up for what was right,an started calling Jill out. Somone like Jill will just start up in the nect tow she moves to.People need to always be aware if they get along,an some one moves in an things start changing where ever the devious one goes.
