I’m wondering about the timeline (keeping my theory in mind). Ronald may have called TN, told her the “story” that someone took Haleigh (after Tommy and Timmy and/or Joe left with Haleigh’s body), begged her to go clean up the drugs before LE got there to investigate the “kidnapping”. NO WAY would Ronald trust Misty to clean up! She was probably hysterical and still affected by her party-weekend.

After a little more research and discussion on the newest thread, I think I’ve increased TN to more than just suspecting the truth. She very well may have been involved with the “cleanup,” at least of the drugs (before LE showed up). Maybe not. But her behavior –see Geraldo interview, and the NG interviews where she strangely sticks up for Misty– the last person to see her sweet grandbaby (yes, Misty, whose stories are changing with each breath)! Why would TN not at least have a tiny doubt about Misty? Because TN probably knows what went down, and may have helped cleanup to help her son.

(Also the whole incident with Cobra was weird, too. Not sure what I make of that.)

I could be wrong… but… hmmmm…

Overall, great theory.

After listening to the (mind-numbing-if-I-hear-the-f-bomb-one-more-time-I’ll-scream) jail tapes/ videos, including ones available on YouTube (Ron’s), and wading through other newscasts, etc…, here is my THEORY:

People involved:

Ron: While he is at work, Misty called and said Haleigh wouldn’t go to sleep or was throwing a tantrum (as children sometimes do, even the sweetest ones). Ron said “whoop her”, but that didn’t work. Ron could have then said “give her something of mine to help her sleep.” DRUGS seem to be involved in this tragedy. Why? If Misty caused Haleigh’s death by hitting or other physical violence, Ron would not act so suspiciously (headless rat, marrying child bride, etc…). Does he miss Haleigh? Yes. Was he in mourning when the first 911 call was made? Yes. Absolutely. Is he guilty? Probably. Did he personally intentionally kill her or have her killed/kidnapped? Probably not. He probably told Misty to give the drugs. Probably told Misty where the drugs were in the house. Misty could implicate him. He could implicate Misty.

Misty: gave Haleigh drugs just to get her to go to sleep for the night. Misty either fell asleep and woke to find her dead, or it happened right away. Either way, she freaked. Called Ron. Ron knew that if he left work it would look suspicious. They need to get rid of drugs, evidence, etc… Ron then maybe came up with plan that involved Tommy disposing of the body. RON called Tommy, not to see if Misty was there, but to go help with disposing of Haleigh’s body. Misty was still feeling effects of drug-induced weekend, so things are/were not clear in her mind and she really is confused about the timing of events, but knows the truth about what SHE did, and feels remorse, but not enough to tell the truth. Maybe soon, though?

Tommy: Likely takes Joe or Timmy with him (or both). Disposes of the body. Ronald KNOWS this. Keep the beheaded rat in mind-a threat so Tommy won’t confess anything. However, the place at the river that has been investigated may not the right place. Who knows? Tommy’s dismissal of the mention of that place in one of the jail recordings (with Hank Sr.?) seems to indicate that.

Timmy: at the very least, he seems to know what happened, from Misty and Tommy. Tommy’s consistent need to talk to Timmy any time he is feeling “heat” seems to indicate this. Timmy may have been the 2nd person that helped “dispose” of Haleigh’s little body, but that could have been Joe. It is doubtful that Tommy did it alone. Possible though.

Joe: MAYBE went with Tommy to dispose of the (sweet Haleigh’s innocent, tiny) body. Joe’s involvement is in question (though still possible) because it is most likely he would have cracked by now, since he could have made a deal and ratted out these people who have implicated him. He, most likely, would NOT protect any of them. It is obvious that the other people involved have no respect, or even have contempt for Joe, so he is an easy target. Then again, he could be a central figure. Doubtful.

Theresa Neves: at the very least probably knows what MAY have happened to Haliegh (or suspects it). She may not know the dynamics of the disposal of the body, but she at least suspects her son’s involvement. That is (possibly) why she is protective of Misty, so Misty won’t implicate Ron. TN probably knows the truth, at least about the drugs involved.

So, why won’t anyone confess?

Ron and Misty: (if this theory is true) would be charged with murder (second degree, possibly. Intent was not kill, but still endangered a child to the point of death), child endangerment (keep in mind Jr. still in house where these drugs were), illegal narcotics, and more. They would be locked up for the rest of their lives.

Tommy: (If this theory is true) would be charged with disposing a body and obstruction of justice. Added to drug charges, he’d be an old man with wrinkly tattoos when he gets out. If ever.

Joe: (if theory is true) would be charged with disposing a body (IF he went with Tommy). Proof of Joe’s involvement is suspect, but entirely possible.

Timmy: (if theory is true) would be charged with at the very least obstruction of justice, if not unlawfully disposing a body. He could possibly get a better “deal” if he confesses what he knows, though.

T N: (if theory is true) Possibly charged with obstruction of justice, if charged at all (may not be enough evidence, but enough to make her SCARED that there is.)

Truth seems to come in itty-bitty nuggets surrounded by dark-hearted lies, but if you look hard enough, it is probably in there somewhere. Sadly, evidence so far is circumstantial, but this theory makes the most sense (out of a senseless case).

I know everyone has their “favorites” (for good reasons. I like to see the best in people, too), but there are really so many lies here, and good acting, that we could easily be distracted from truth.

I hope some of these people ARE innocent!!! What a tragedy if this many people are actually involved. My prayer is for justice, though, but I would love to be wrong about this! I hope Justice is coming soon for whomever is responsible!

While Misty is talking and giving her version of events, Ronald has his face turned. He is looking straight at her, as if to remind her to “stick to the script.”

At one point Ronald covers up his microphone and tells Misty to look into the camera. But Ronald wasn’t looking into the camera… Ronald was wanting to make sure that Misty was coming off as believable because Misty was the one who was there that night. He was “at work.” ::rolls eyes::

Ronald also corrects Misty in the interview. When Misty said Haleigh and Junior were sleeping 4 inches away from her. Ronald jumps in and says “they were sleeping four feet away.” There is a huge different between 4 feet and four inches! Also, how would Ronald know if he was at work that night?

In a later interview he gave HLN’s Nancy Grace, he told Grace that Haleigh, Ron Jr, and Misty were all sleeping in the same bed:

GRACE: At 10:30, 11:00. At that time, was little Haleigh in the bed asleep with the brother?

CUMMINGS: Yes.

GRACE: And they all slept together in the same bed, correct?

CUMMINGS: Yes.

How did it go from 4 inches, to 4 feet, to all in the same bed? How would Ronald know if he was at work?

Ronald even married Misty, knowing that she couldn’t get her story straight. He threw a big celebration with her where they ate cake, and spent time with family all the while his daughter was missing.

Does that scene jive with the 911 call where Ronald dramatically declares that he will kill whoever he abducted his child? If he was so worried, why did he marry Misty only a month after Haleigh vanished? What father of a missing child takes the time to marry someone, when his child has only been missing a month?

After the wedding Ronald Cummings, his new child bride and his family take off to New York for a little honey moon where they do an interview on the “Today Show.” Ronald told the Today Show that he did not want the focus on his wedding, that he wanted it on Haleigh. I have a huge problem that load of crap coming from Ronald Cummings.

1: If you want the attention on Haleigh why marry Misty?

2: If you want the attention on Haleigh why fly to New York while she is missing?

3: Why did you give NBC permission to film the wedding? While the interview with Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin was airing, pictures flashed across the screen of Misty and Ron eating cake, exchanging wedding vows, and celebrating. A big “TODAY EXCLUSIVE” was shown at the top of the screen.

4: I want to know if Ronald was given any money for the “TODAY EXCLUSIVE.” If so, where did that money go?

5.We know that Ronald took Misty out to eat, to the race tracks and took her out on the town all the while searchers were frantically searching for his daughter.
We know that when it came time for Ronald to pay he would tell the waiter “Don’t you know who I am.”

Let’s be clear: Ronald Cummings is a sick , evil psychopath who used his missing child as a way to eat free meals and make tons of money. After his child went missing he got married and celebrated with his teen bride. All the while his childs body could have been decomposing in an alligator infested river.

Why marry her? To keep her quiet? To “keep her close” a quote many people attributed to him.

Ronald acted as if Haleigh was dead, and he acted like he wanted to get on with his life, take a listen to this interview where Ronald finds time to get a tattoo while his child is missing:

While in jail on drug charges we learn that Ronald makes a friend. A woman by the name of Alecia Dunbar (hat tip to the posters on the Scared Monkeys forum especially BeatnicHippie who outted Alecia Dunbar.) Dunbar also has a weird fascination with Joran Vandersloot in the Natalee Holloway case.

I want to say something: From what you have shared and given us the privilege of reading about you, I think you are a great, strong, inspiring, and truly loving person. It takes a lot of love to care so much….If you didn’t catch my other post, I had said that my son commented on your posts and said you seemed like a great lady….you inspired him. Isn’t it wonderful when we realize it really is a small world, and how amazing it is that just one single person can touch someone else’s life in one single moment…YOU DID THAT FOR MY SON. Thank you.

Misty said 2 people and I think she knows who did it. why is lindsy leaving tommy after she was told he helped dump the body ?why would he take police to the river? When I think about this whole things from the beginning….Who is suspect? Who fits the profile? Is there a motive? etc.

People who take children? Non custodial parents are number one on the list.

People who kill children and hide their bodies? Pedophiles and other types of psychos.

There is nothing to show a crime was committed! That is another thing that comes to mind. There is no evidence, no body, etc.

You possibly have Misty, Tommy and Joe who don’t know what happened to Haleigh but all keep blaming the other. Because they have been led to beleive that something happened to her and that she was killed and thrown in the river. (there is no proof of that).
This is why they can’t find Haleigh or what happened to her. LE is wanting so bad to solve this that they are going off of lies and twisted lies that have no connection to Haleigh.

It is still very possible that the answer lies elsewhere.

Think about it like this…You have three kids. You have threatened to take away their favorite toy because they don’t take care of it. They are out one day doing stupid things and don’t know what each other are doing. So, while they are gone, you take the toy. They come home and say, somebody took our toy. You tell them, well someone must of broke it and threw it away. You get them to all blaming each other, when actually none of them did anything. They begin fighting and making scenarios up of how the other one must of came home while they were gone and broke it…etc.

That is put in a very simplistic way, but it sure could be the reason why they still can’t find Haleigh, because the people they are looking at to blame, are not the ones who did anything.

Just something to think about out of the box…..
