We will be running our regular weekly radio program at 3pm Central on Sunday April 18. It has been quite a week and there is plenty to discuss in both cases.
The PCSO has switched their focus from Haleigh Cummings being missing to Haleigh Cummings being the victim of a homicide. This ups the ante for the players involved.
The case picked up momentum last Monday evening when a Private Investigator shared his 10 months of findings with the PCSO, this resulted in a full blown search of a small area of the St. Johns river, specifically a boat dock in Shell Harbour.
The search commenced on Tuesday at 10 am and the PCSO tried their very best to keep the event low profile but within a short time the site became a media circus. BNN did have a reporter on site and I am hoping that Armando Aldazabal will be joining us on the program to tell us about what he saw and heard. He had the opportunity to talk with some police officials and also witnessed some confrontations between the press and law enforcement. It is said that at least one reporter from a Fox affiliate station was arrested, I am hoping that Armando can fill us in on this particular event,
The search wrapped up on Friday and although the PCSO are being very tight lipped it is possible that some items of interest were found. One rumor is that two cinder blocks were removed together with a length of yellow rope. At least two sources have mentioned seeing yellow rope in the back yard of the Cummings trailer shortly after Haleigh was reported missing.
A pivotal moment in the search came on Wednesday evening when PCSO personnel brought a handcuffed Misty Croslin to the search site. What was discussed has not been revealed, however a communique from the PCSO indicates that they do have ‘persons of interest’ and that they are receiving co-operation from them.
There have also been the usual raft of red herrings however they are getting easier to spot.
Over in the Caylee Anthony case we have yet more antics from the defense team of Baez and company. In a move that is insane Baez has filed a motion to have Judge Strickland removed because of his interaction with a blogger. All I can say is beware of what you wish for. Strickland has given Baez considerably more leeway than many other judges would have, a change in judge could have a very detrimental effect on the defense team.

I did see that there are 3 or 4 poi in the Brittaney Drexler case. I hope they get her case solved soon as well. May God bring all the missing home deceased or alive.
Regarding Monster Anthony’s duhfense team trying to get Judge Strickland to remove himself as judge, I think we are seeing the work of Cheney Mason here. He’s reviewed the case now and is beginning to make his moves.
Bozo tried it once before a while back (for different reasons) and the “experts” said it was a bad move because Strickland is one of the most patient and fair judges in that area.
So I have to wonder if Cheney Mason KNOWS who would replace Strickland and PREFERS to have that person be the judge? Or is he trying to get the case delayed again? And/or is he trying to get all Judge Strickland’s rulings thrown out?
It IS “A muck of justice” as our least fave “court jester” (Bozo) put it – and it’s all thanks to him.

That was the very first theory that occurred to me at the beginning. When I expressed it long ago I was thoroughly trounced for daring to think that M might not have been the “doting babysitter/almost step-mom” that she may have appeared to be (especially when trying to impress R and her hopefully future family-in-law).
I could see it easily, though. A young girl finding her “prince” and then finding she was only a glorified babysitter/maid/mistress etc.
I could see her losing her patience and whacking Haleigh too hard – or even overdosing on a Rx med possibly by accident. So that’s always been one of my theories.
But since LE would not reveal any info and what we knew did not rule out much I proceeded to come up with some other theories too (like lots of people).
Baez and crew have apparently found yet another way to delay Justice For Caylee. I think Strickland has been more than patient and more than lenient/fair to the defense. Simon is right; beware what you wish for; another judge may not be so lenient. What is that saying….the devil you know is better than the one you don’t? Something like that.

Please do not tell me this can happen with Judge Strickland, This is beyond crazy. What more are they going to try and do next? Casey did murder her child and we all know it. There is no other way around it. Now besides blaming her brother and father for her CHOICES in life is beyond belief.
And poor sweet Haleigh to fall into the hands of these so called human beings. And the poor families that have to deal with her loss.
This country needs to take a better look at these people and get tougher. Too many innocent children have fallen short to these animals. They need to come up and admit to the fact it is their choices, not the choices of these innocent children. These children did not ask to come into this world and did not ask to leave this world in being molested and murdered.
I truly pray for justice for Haleigh, Caylee and ALL the children in this world.
Have any of you read the transcripts on NG of Chelsea saying she doesnt know Joe? He stayed at her home for 2 weeks and she says now that she doesnt know Joe and he is crazy? Chelsea has been involved in this by leaking info to AH from the beginning and from Mass. if she isnt in Satsuma how would she know what was going on unless someone else gave her the info first? Why did she come on the show and not Mistys brother Timmy? I am sure its because he knows Joe real well and he knows what happened. jmo
Tommy said Timmy failed his LDT. Also I dont believe Misty over any of them she has lied constantly. I cant see her being afraid of Joe and then going to Tenn to stay with GH for 2 weeks. If the van is involved there are 2 people who could have taken it Joe or Timmy, I feel it may be Timmy who took the van to help his siblings out and thats why no one talked, the entire family would be in prison for whatever happened. jmo

Joe is the killer. Its clear. I have been following all the details, everything, and he cant even look at the camera strait when asked if he killed her..he is the real killer! He will get the death penalty, this is Florida they dont play. The 2 others might also, depends. But the only thing we know for sure at this time is ALL 3 OF THEM WERE THERE AND ONE OF THEM KILLED HER. The question is WHICH one did it. Joe. Maybe it is a good idea to have Stickland stand down, maybe there is another judge who won’t give in to Bozo whining, who knows? That lot of pompous arses will try anything at this point, way too much loaded gun for them to handle. I would personally hate to see Strickland off the bench since he has been there from the beginning and a couple of times he has called halt to some of Bozos stupid motions and had hoped that he would further do so. This has turned into a three ring circus and it is time for the nonsense to give way to reality. Casey is either guilty as sin or someone has done a really good frame up job. I personally do not feel that a frame up took place, way too much sticking its ugly head out for that to be the case. There has never been a perfect murder, no matter how thought out it was and this one isn’t either. Bozo is grasping at straws and he knows it, there is no way that anyone will ever be convinced of Caseys innocence and it is time to quit trying. As far as little Hayleigh goes, I have had a gut feeling since day one that she was not alive. Misty knows exactly what happened and who caused it to happen. Poor Ron may have felt that by his continued support of her that she would sometime come clean. Did not happen and it will be like pulling alligator teeth with tweezers to get it out of her. She is covering her butt as all the others are. The only one who seems genuine is Mistys grandma in Tennessee. Possibly Rons mother is alright but there have been times she has been evasive also. It may be a good thing that Ron is in jail, he might go and get vigilante justice taken care of if not. He made that vow on national television and I imagine he meant it. I have watched every moment of the search of that river, nothing that we know of so far but two blocks and a length of rope has come of it. Unfortunately, there are alligators in that river so any tissue or bone would be digested by now. This was their intent all along, to make sure there was nothing left to pull up from the river before opening the mouth. In my own opinion, dangle Misty in that river by a rope and allow the gators to swim around her a while, maybe then the true story would come out. No matter who did the deed, she is directly responsible for what happened and not fit to babysit a puppy or a kitten. Tears don’t do it for me at all. She is a total liar and that is obvious, so now lets confine Misty and Casey in the same cell and maybe they will kill each other and we won’t have to worry about trials or housing them for years!
Nikki, What about Ron? He seems like a sharp guy and always in control. He didn’t figure this out and do something about it like he says he would? Also, you might not want to drown Joe or whomever. I read that it’s quite a pleasant way to go. I think that you get all dreamy and peaceful and relaxed after the initial panic subsides.

Do any of you remember it being said that Tommy son was afraid of him when Hank and Tommy got into that fight over the supposed DVDs? I think Tommy gets scary when he needs his drugs and is violent when he needs them. Could this prove his violence that night? I think it could. Considering, if in fact Misty is responsible; she was a minor at the time (only 17) – in a position that she should have not been in the first place! RC screwed up when choosing a child bride to take care of his children. (sic)If again, she is responsible, assists the authorities, etc. she could be tried as a juvi’ and it could be found that she was in a diminished capacity at the time of Haleigh’s death.
I am waiting to say who the killer was. Steve Brown says we will be shocked to find out who the real killer was. It’s not over, yet, and may not be for a couple of weeks. The sheriff said we could expect arrests in a couple of weeks. Alot of these people were just in on hiding her body.
In the lie detector or voice analysis video, something Misty said caught my attention:
‘Ron never had her [Haleigh]‘. I tried to make sense of it when I viewed it, and consider possibilities for what she meant by ‘never had her’.
I wonder if she meant ‘Ron never had sex with Haleigh’, or ‘Ron never had custody of Haleigh after Haleigh was reported missing’.
Anyone else wonder about this? If so, what do you think she meant?

Tobias, I don’t recall hearing about his son being afraid of him, but I would think it goes with the territory. A high-upped Tom would not make his children feel safe and secure, and one was probably very afraid the morning Tom took him to school and was then found passed out in his van.

A lot of stuff happened in Flagler and then they moved down to Satsuma. Timmy lived in orlando then moved to Cresent city. They hide all of their previous faults but they are there if you look for them. This family has a vry long history of trouble and moving when it comes to the surface.jmo
In different interviews it was said that Ron called Tommy to go and check on Misty. He said he went and no one was there. In another interview (I think Misty’ grandma) I heard that Misty said she looked and saw Tommy at the doorway, but she was talking with Joe, she looked back and Tommy was gone, didn’t know where he went. What is possible is maybe Tommy did go to check on Misty, saw she was arguing with Joe, and left. This was possibly before Joe took Haleigh, so maybe there is some truth in what has been said.

Tommy could have been called by Misty to come to the home because Joe did something to Haleigh or was trying to take Haleigh. What I want to know is who actually was at the dock/river when Haleigh was thrown in? Was it just Tommy and Joe, was it just Joe and Misty, was it all three of them? Haleigh’s grandma said they might not have known if Haleigh was alive or not when she was thrown in, for that to be true, you would think Haleigh was in distress/injured before they got there, maybe she was injured to the point of they had to do something with her because if they just called the police or 911, her injuries would point to what was the cause of the trauma, but yet, there was no blood in the house? or, there was no blood in the house because the blood was on the missing blankets? My head is spinning.

Does anyone know if that is even Lindsy’s page? Throughout this case, there have been plenty of fakes pretending to be someone involved in this case on twitters, myspaces, facebooks, etc. I just have a hard time believing she would post this kind of verbage when we hear her with Tommy, it’s a different story.
I think it’s someone pretending to be her, but that’s just my opinion.

Ron has not been cleared yet. I have a gut feeling that we haven’t heard everything yet and the info that was release may be to get people to talk. Joe did not leave town immediately. Tobias is right he hung fliers that Haleigh was missing with Misty, no less. If she had been afraid of him I don’t think she would have been out “working” for Haleigh with him.
Also, he had left Tenn against his probation regulations and wanted to get back in the state before he got in trouble for leaving with out their permission. well based on the First Coast News report it seems the mystery is solved. RC’s attorney basically admits it’s Cousin Joe. And he would know. Now the question is what is Misty and Tommy’s involvement. I can buy Misty was afraid of Joe but she pointed the finger too many times at him in the last 14 months to really be that afraid of him.
First Coast News is saying that Ronald said he suspected Joe from the beginning and if we go back and listen to the 911 tape we can here him mention cousin Joe.
FCN says that went back and listened to the 911 calls and didn’t here it but it’s possible some stuff has been redacted from the call.

Looks like all the info is in except means of death. Probably Misty drugged the kids to go to sleep early ro maybe to go out for a bit and OD’d Haleigh. Freeking out she called the only person she could trust, her brother, to come hide the body… but he loaned his truck to visiting Joe that weekend. So Tommy had to call Joe to come over with the truck. They all staged the scene to look like a kidnapping and decided to went dump with Cinder blocks in the river. Tommy is trying to save his and Misty’s ass now to say a new story about Joe going to steal a gun and he took Haleigh and killed her. Doesn’t make any sense. There is no motive. What would Joe get out of taking and killing haleigh? There would be no reason to kill her and no reason for Tommy to help dump the body. Also during all this Haleigh’s little brother slept through the whole thing? If so it may indicate the kids were drugged to go to sleep. Misty caused the death, Tommy covered it up and both trying to nail Joe. Joe must have passed a lie detector test because after the first week when cops talked to him they flat out said they definitly ruled him out as a suspect, which pretty well indicates he passed his lie detector test, but both Misty and Tommy did not.

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — While boats and divers scoured the St. Johns River this week near Satsuma, detectives met with Haleigh Cummings’ family.
Haleigh’s father, Ronald Cummings, was walked out of jail for a while so detectives could also update him on the search for his missing daughter.
His attorney, Terry Shoemaker, told First Coast News that Cummings and his family were advised to make funeral arrangements.
“Yeah, you can understand how Ron would be shocked at that because he’s hoping it ends, but still holding hope that maybe they’re wrong that maybe something else happened and this will end up as another false lead,” Shoemaker said.
Earlier this week, Flora Hollars — the grandmother of Cummings’ ex-wife Misty Croslin – spoke about the case. Hollars claimed Misty and her brother told her their cousin — Joe Overstreet — took the little girl.
Shoemaker said Cummings does not know Joe Overstreet well, but had suspected Overstreet since day one.
“He’s not surprised,” Shoemaker said, “and [Cummings] said if you go back and listen to the 911 tape he made a comment that night about “Cousin Joe.”"
First Coast News has reviewed the 911 tape released by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. First Coast News cannot make out where Cummings mentions “Cousin Joe” Overstreet. However, some of the 911 call may have been redacted.
Meanwhile, Overstreet maintained his innocence this week.
Overstreet told First Coast News’ Jackelyn Barnard “I didn’t do it.”
Three days of searching the St. Johns River turned up items that need to be tested in labs as evidence in the case. Shoemaker said Saturday that Cummings believes Haleigh was placed in the river.
“I think he has a pretty good idea that’s what transpired,” Shoemaker said.
However, investigators and the sheriff have not confirmed what really happened to the little girl.

This whole case is like a ripple effect. If Crystal had been a decent mom and stood up in court for her children, Ron would not have gotten custody. If Ron had not allowed a 17 yr. old drug addicted moron who just came off a 3-day bender, I believe Haleigh would still be alive and well.

And, as much as I cannot stand Nancy Grace, I have to give her props when she said, “Haleigh never had a chance.” That sums it up.

To TN I have always found (amongst everything in this case being strange and not making sense) her refusal to watch her grandkids when Misty said she was too tired, and you would think she knew Misty had twisted off for three days prior. That has always stuck in my mind.
TN- have always wondered “why” she showed up prepared with an 8X10 school photo of Haleigh, did they ever perform foot searches immediatly or did they just cry on TV for help I don’t remember any foot searches calling for Haleigh by family members.
TN- what grandmother would stick by Misty knowing she was a druggie, knowing she likely either “let” your grand daughter “get stolen” (their words not mine) or had some direct involvement in her disapearance.

Why would Misty be scared to tell Ron if Joe did it? It doesnt make sense that if Ron knew on the 911 that joe may have doen it that he wouldnt high tail it over and get him. jmo
And as it was once said in jest on here about Ron rolling people in a ball, he could do that to little skinny Joe with no problem.jmo
I agree, Tobias. If Ron suspected Joe from the beginning, LE would have leaned on Joe and kept leaning on him. And if they didn’t lean on Joe to Ron’s satisfaction, Ron would have gone after Joe himself (justifiably, imo).
I think Joe may have been at the MH that day or even that night. I do not believe that M or T and especially R were afraid of Joe. I am not going to say Joe didn’t have anything to do with Haleigh, just saying IF he was there, it did not go down the way the players are saying (that Joe scared them into silence and they remained too scared to talk even after he left FL.)

Cath, I think the story Misty wrote about is a complete lie. She knows what happened and Tommy knows too. Tommy even said on camera for all of us to see that he wouldnt say Joe did it just to get out of jail. Are we really suposed to believe they were protecting someone who they could care less about? If Joe did this they would have been screaming it from day 1 instead of saying I was asleep and woke up at 3 and she was gone. jmo
Misty would have been screaming it on the 911 call, the 911 call would have been made considerably earlier than it was, imo.
Misty more than once had said (paraphrasing) “I was not threatened by anyone and even if I was I would have told anyway.”
Cath, I just remembered when Misty was threatened with a gun and her reaction on that 911 was really diferent. She was scared then but in the Haleigh 911 she is way different. More panic than fear, panic that her story is getting messed up. And I dont understand her use of the our daughter and we were sleeping,like Ron was there the whole time?? That always seemed strange to me when we knew he was at work.jmo

I am happy that the duhfense made the stupid move to remove Strickland and i hope he excuses himself. If he is one of the fairest and impartial judges Fla. has, than that means he is going to be replaced by a judge that won’t be that kind to killer Casey and her bozo lawyers. God, I pray, I pray, I pray that happens. On the other side of the coin, theory is duhfense did this knowing that Strickland won’t pass the motion, therefore, since they know their client is going to get convicted no matter what they do, this gives her a reason to appeal later when she is convicted that the judge did not excuse himself. You never know what bozo and team are scheming.
Judging from Chelsea and Lindsy’s recetn behavior and statments, they did not know, IMO.
