The PCSO statement that was sent out this morning is actually quite an interesting one. A statement prompted by BNN’s first article. There is one part in particular that is very noteworthy.
Due to the sensitivity of this investigation, the name of the person providing the tip and the physical evidence alleged to be in this area, will not be released.
I spoke to the tipster earlier today. And I can say he was very surprised when I introduced myself. The PCSO want to keep his identity out of the press for the time being, and I can certainly understand why. The ensuing feeding frenzy would put a bunch of starving sharks to shame! I for one have been pondering the significance of this persons identity all morning and it leads to a very intriguing possible chain of events that does tie directly to one of the folks currently experiencing the hospitality of the Florida jail system.
A discovery was made at around 9pm last night, and although the person opted not to share the details, it does seem that some form of physical evidence was found. The tipster has agreed to talk with me later. I will say this, this was no random find by a random person.
I have also been asked not to reveal the exact location of the search, but it does involve a boat ramp on the St. Johns river that is not very far from where Haleigh Cummings disappeared from. The PCSO do have the area cordoned off from prying eyes. But how long they will be able to keep the location under wraps can be measured in minutes.

I am watching the news like a mad woman today. I feel great relief for little Nadia Bloom and her family but I feel heartbroken about little Haleigh Cummings. I fear it won’t be as happy an ending today. Prayers for Haleigh.

Last night a blogger mentioned that her father solved the case and knew the location of the body. The person said it would be on the news today. I was skeptical but now see this person might have been truthful.

Enough Simon. This person that provided the tip I can understand protecting that person. But could we please know what the tip was and what the physical evidence is?
There is alot of speculation going on about the who, what, when, where, and how right now.

JB… All I’ve heard on the news, is that the family (ron) was asked to stay away from the search. Ron and Crystal will be in a special room to talk with investigators, the family knew of the tip and where it came from.

ba – thanks for the update. This could be it. Sure is a lot of activity. So Ron and Crystal are already in a special room awaiting confirmation? Did Misty finally spill the beans and that is why she isn’t showing up? Is she maybe at the search location helping because she knows where the body is? OMG!? My stomach is churning and my mind is racing. Is this really it? Are we finally about to learn the truth?

tobias….if the family was told to leave and Crystal and Ron are to meet with PCSD then they must really believe they’ve found Haleigh or they wouldn’t be making plans to meet with Crystal and Ron. This is BIG. It sure sounds like Haleigh is no longer with us though. I was afraid of that. Misty HAD to be responsible…that is why she isn’t showing up in the jail log. Firstcoast news is reporting that Hardy has declined to confirm or deny if HaLeigh has been found.
It will be hard to focus today – even though not knowing was frustrating, we could still have some hope. I wonder if JB is right about Misty possibly being at the scene helping them locate the body. I never thought she was directly involved – so sad.
They will notify the parents before saying anything to the press. jmo

In a jailhouse conversation with his daughter Misty Croslin in late Februry,Hank Sr said he knew for a fact Tommy was not involved in HaLeigh’s disappearance. This week we learned Tommy failed his LDT which must have come as a shock to his parents.

My heart goes out to Ronald Cummings. I never believed he had anything to do with this, and I do believe he would have gone after that Joe guy had he had any idea he was involved. I may be crazy- but I think he set himself and Misty up with the drug dealing thing so she would go to jail. I trust him more than I do Haleigh’s biological mom, who did not even know her teachers name, or what time she got home from school. She isn’t much of a mom- at least Ronald had a job and was supporting her. And all the pictures, he truly loved her, you could see it in his eyes. Pray for Ronald.
deborahmouser, you feel the same way I do. What you wrote is how I feel inside but at the same time I always feel like maybe I am wrong. I hope that what you said is the real situation. When rumors spread that Ron was working with the cops, I started to doubt it when he got arrested and was very disappointed to hear that he was involved. I wouldn’t put it past him to fake an arrest in order to find his daughter. I pray that when this is all over the PCPD announces that he was working with them. So I do hope that he is tuly innocent in all of this. I’ll go with my gut for now.
simon thank you ……for all your work……. i wish i could be there with you …I think misty and tommys FATHER is the person who brought this new information forward.i listen to him talk to his daughter on his visits to the jail and i think hes been trying to get the truth out of his son and daughter…..
