I received a tip about 30 minutes ago that might indicate the search for Haleigh Cummings may be entering into a new phase. Some discoveries were made last night and as we go to press police divers are about to go into action.
I have agreed not to divulge the exact location, however I am sure that it will be revealed later today.
Could this be the finish line in the 14 moth old search for Haleigh Cummings?
A source very close to the case has agreed to talk with me on the condition of anonymity and that I would not release details at this stage for fear of compromising the criminal investigation.
I am sorry this article is so cryptic, I will add more details as they are released.
UPDATE: This just in from PCSO.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office has received numerous requests for information regarding the Haleigh Cummings investigation, and a search currently being conducted by the Sheriff’s Office.
A search is currently being conducted as the result of one of the many leads received thus far in this case. The area being searched is in the Satsuma area of Putnam County. The exact location is not being released at this time in an attempt to prevent unnecessary congestion from onlookers. Although various resources are being utilized to conduct this search, it is just one of many operations conducted during this investigation. Due to the sensitivity of this investigation, the name of the person providing the tip and the physical evidence alleged to be in this area, will not be released.
Members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office will not be participating in any formal interviews or providing statements regarding today’s search. Future releases will be provided if warranted.

I don’t quite know how I feel on this one. Mixed emotions are the worst. But, whatever the outcome, I hope it brings some peace to HaLeigh’s loved ones!!
We need an end to this but it will be a sad day if Haleigh is found dead.
I understand how you feel Cent. My thoughts are with the LE and family members first and foremost but too a lot of us have been following this case from the moment it was released to the media so it’s going to affect many people no matter what.
Thanks for the update – my heart is pounding right now. I always thought she was dead but I held out hope that she might be hidden somewhere.

Omg My heart hurts so bad for this family! The truth is going to come out and Who ever did this needs to Rot in Hell for torturing this family. The Baby will finally be able to come home and be able to rest in peace. I still hold out hope she is alive, but divers is not a good sign Sending Prayers to this family as they hold on to hope!

Hello Everyone as we are coming together today on a very sad note. The tears are beginning to fill my eyes. I pray that they find our little angel and she can now be laid to rest. I pray for Justice in the max to be given to whomever took Haleighs life. We were all hoping for a better outcome, unfortunately it is going to be a sad one from the way it sounds. God Bless you all and lets pray that LE will find what they need to bring Haleigh Justice that has been long over due.
m2c, I think we can pray for truth, the whole truth and for God to protect and comfort the innocent. I hope this is not true, I still hope Haleigh is alive but if she is not I pray her precious little body is recovered so her broken family can get closure and start to heal.
Has anyone did a search for Misty in the Jail… I did, and didn’t see her under cummings/croslin. I could have overlooked her tho!
I am sad and relieved at the same time. I pray every day that Haleigh is alive, but feel in my heart she had passed on Feb 9th 2009. I feel that little Haleigh is an angel now and she was the one that helped LE find Nadia. Today was a good day for another missing child in FL, Nadia has been found after being alone in the woods for 5 days. That is a miracle, God and an Angel were watching over her. I pray today is the the day that Haleigh is found as well and that who ever was involved in what ever happen to her pay the ultimate price here, in H*ll and once the lord allowes them to enter Heaven. Our Lord is a forgiving God, but he also punishes. Please Lord, light the way to Haleigh today so she can be put the rest in peace.

I wanted to believe that Haleigh would be found alive, by some miracle, now I see that probably won`t be the case. How sad for her families. This will definately be a sad day for everyone, because since they did not find anything for 14 months, we could still have hope. A reporter said that they saw Hank at the gas station, he said ,”If LE can’t tell you, then I can’t”! (paraphrasing) He also told the reporter to leave him alone.

They said on CourtTV/TruTV that they had called Haleighs Mother, and Grandmothers, to the Jail/Police station, and even had Ronald join them for some sort of meeting.
Could Misty have told this information? I am just listening into Jane Mitchell show about this. I sure hope this will come to closure for everyone those who speak highly about Haleigh. That Crystal will have her closure of some sort, even though a death of a child it isnt easy but to have closure will be something its better then not knowing. Wow I hope there is closure and I hope they know who did it.. Did Misty really broke and told the truth?
This just breaks my heart, crying. Even though I knew from day one that she may not be found alive but part half of me wanted her to cause I dont wish no pain on no one with a death of a child cause as for a grieving mother as myself it isnt easy its a nightmare. Yes Nancy Grace just said a suspect is in custody but I wonder who he or she is.. Very sad has they should have came forward long time ago about Haleigh, very sad. If they loved this little girl they would have came forward instead they get posted for drugs and knowing they are going to do heavy time in jail, now they are trying to save their butts…. Why did Misty wait so long to come forward? I don’t believe that Misty KNEW what happened to Haleigh and didn’t come forward, unless somehow she was involved in the crime, even if she didn’t kill the child herself.
A thought: If she knew where the body was dumped and what container to look for, then she helped.
Tommy said cousin Joe took Hailey and threatened Tommy and Misty if they fessed up..Joe is in custody and Tommy and Misty should be disgusted with themselves that they did not reveal the truth a long time ago but they are too brain fried to even grasp the concept of doing the right thing.
This is truly a sad ending. I have prayed so hard for this little girl. Now she can be laid to rest like a little angel should be. I hope everyone responsible for this is punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Authorities in Tennessee Question Misty Croslin’s Relative About Haleigh’s Disappearance
Whatever happened to Kayleah Wilson, a Fl girl who was walking to a birthday party and never arrived! You know the 11 year old that was dating a 17 year old! That alone is sick! I can’t imagine why her parents allowed it or why the boy wanted it! Unfortunately it seems that she was unsupervised even by her parents!

how did she know where to send the divers. Ron tried about 90 times to call Misty that night. He could not reach her because she was disposing of the little one. I really believe she died from a over dose. They were covering it up and blaming Joe. I hope they get life and in open population.
