Does "Hispanic" mean Spanish speaking? If so, we need to list our Spanish exchange student, even though he is a proud Catalan. Or does it mean Spanish Ancestry? Then my Asian husband, whose grandfather came from Spain, should be Hispanic. Or do you mean a Spanish surname? Dang. My adopted Colombian sons have an Irish surname, as did Bernardo O'Higgins. Oh well, it could be worse. Look at Alberto Fujimora. Wonder where he fits? I usually put "Biracial" for all of us. Let them figure it out. You should try being our family during the last census.
