There is a great article on orlandosentinel.com that talks about severe concerns about Monster’s application for indigent status. There is a state organization called the Justice Administrative Commission that oversees the payments in a situation like this. And THEY have severe concerns.
Even if it’s decided she can be indigent she will receive funds THRU that Justice Administrative Commission and they have strict guidelines on what they will pay for and how much.

Bozo is blaming the high costs of the defense on the state - for making this a death penalty case. Well, then, why did he FIRE the Florida death penalty expert that helped them first?
He deliberately went out of state to get Big AL.
And what on earth as Bozo been doing all this time anyway to have “earned” 90 grand? Filed inaccurate and incompetent motions and dragged his feet. He’s left all the hard work until now so he could get “all” her money and then get the state to pay when the real work begins.

I hope JAC gets to the bottom of where the money came from and where it went.

It has been a mess from the beginning with Caylees murder,an all those surounding it.Now im sure that the money trail will be searched out. But she more than likly will get the state to pay for a defence,test,an such.LE has been very thuro in that case.It all leads to Casey,an her parents have lied,covered,an plain out acted like i have never seen grieving people act.I know grief we had a 2 yr old murdered in our family 10 yrs agao Feb 3 rd,an know about media coverage.But they went way out there.

IIRC (and I believe I do), I think in one post you mentioned that Ron filed for the child support that was owed to him from Crystal. (I’m not going to go looking for which post. It was several days ago).

Ron was not the one that filed the Contempt charges against Crystal. The motion was filed by the Department of Revenue (State of Florida) who collects the child support from the parent obligated to pay. Ron had nothing to do with the motion and was only notified when Crystal was. (I would venture to say Ron found out after she did because she would have been served in hand, and he received his copy in the mail). The DOR is supposed to file Motions when a parent gets a certain amount behind or a certain number of payments behind. They are not supposed to let it get three years and/or $12,000 behind.

Doesn’t seem like Ron pressed the issue at all, IMO.

-J/MS gets person X gets person Y… Yes, speculation for the point of illustration, just saying that “it could have happened this way.” What we do know, or at least what I accept, is that Organized Crime operates this way and J/MS is known to have connections to, or be part of, organized crime. I wish it was as simple as PCSO incompetence and framing Misty. I would never have been drawn in if following the facts led to that simple conclusion. A simple explanation is always better than a complicated one, parsimony.

Re the $35000….multiple sources??? As far as I am aware, TM was the only source of that, and we know that he got it wrong. I don’t know if he misunderstood, or why TM said that, but we do know that he got it wrong.

I dont think Ron harmed his child either.He seem to love them,just had bad habits,Which does cause carelisness,but pictures dont lie,he had many with HALIEGH,i dont see bruses.I dont see him ripping 26,000 dollars off either,maybe a small amount,maybe that to has been blown out of poportion..But i see nothing that shows he had that much money,made from 26,000 worth of drugs.Nor do i think he would plan a abduction with Crystal.They fought over the children..

Well Casey goes for a hearing today.Hum i know the state will most likly pay for the depos,an anything thats needed for her defence.Unless Baezs finaly gets busted out for some sneaky dealings with the money.Ill be watching.

Wish PCSO would let us know something pertaining to Haliegh,an if there was any truth to a letter being turned over to them. And seriously, don’t worry too much - at least at this point - about Monster having grounds for appeal later on. The state prosecutors have worked very hard all along to try to prevent any chance of that.
Fortunately, having stupid lying cheating thieving even collaborating parents is not grounds for an appeal. Whatever this alleged “affair” is or is not, I have faith that the prosecution will handle it (or possibly even ignore it) appropriately.

Did someone say Crystal is pregnant? She looks like she is expecting again and I thought that could be why she’s in a program. Thoughts?

Bozo’s incompetence is one of the reasons (I believe) that the state prosecutors and the judge have asked monster several times now if she is satisfied with her counsel. In fact, long ago Monster wasn’t even attending the hearings so the prosecutors asked the judge to look into that and Judge Strickland asked Bozo about it. Of course Bozo said it was monster’s choice - that she did not want to attend the hearings. Judge Strickland didn’t care and ordered monster to start attending. So that was one of the first efforts the state made to ensure that monster would definitely see for herself what’s going on, see Bozo “in action” (LOL) and be able to decide if she was satisfied with him as her lawyer. And she has continued to say yes to that (as unbelievable as it is).
I don’t think Bozo can smarten up in time for the trial but there’s another lawyer Linda Kenney Baden(?) who’s been in the background who he might bring in then. Baden really IS smart. But will she do it pro bono etc? Now that Monster’s “indigent”? I don’t know.
I’m hoping there is so much evidence against her that it won’t matter who her lawyer is.

Goodmorning everyone. Caseys indigent hearing just began. Justice Admin. is speaking now on his concerns of Casey being declared indigent. They are having aidio technicalities at the moment. I am hoping they get it cleared up so the court reporter can hear him. I think they may have now.

One thing that just wears at me regarding CA’s case is that even “IF” it were an “accidental” overdose of chloroform etc… or whatever as has been speculated well that was just no accident if that were the case.

Who does that type of thing to their own Child?

My opinion is that anyone who would do anything like that has no respect for their child’s life period.

The “alleged” mistress claims there is evidence proving said affair. I want to see that proof. If what she says is true then her testimony will most likely be considered as evidence.

me, and then read your post. I partially agree about Ron. When Haleigh first went missing, I don’t think he was acting guilty. I think he was really, really grieving. Either her kidnapping was truly a jolt for him or he knew she was dead and he was participating in a cover-up. And his grief was real in that case, imho.

No ruling today. Judge wants more finacial evidence of where all the monies were spent. Baez has 15 days to file a motion.

tobias, Tried to read the court docket (don’t even know if that is the correct name for it) that you posted. I don’t know how to read these things but I think it says that Chelsea Croslin was charged with battery of Lisa Brooks but Lisa Brooks never showed up to carry out or continue the charge. Is that what it means?

The 15 days for the duhfense to file a motion does not have anything to do with the money.

The state has released new evidence/discovery to the duhfense which does not want it made public.

So for now it won’t be made public. Bozo has 15 days to review the new evidence and submit a motion as to why it should not be made public.

Tuff Stuff, this was a live hearing that I watched. Not a TV update. The JAC rep was on the phone to the court for a LONG TIME and could not be heard by many there in the courtroom (including us watching it live).
Whatever JAC’s reason for not being there this time they HAVE to be the next time because the judge told JAC he was not going to review the expenses on the phone with him. So if JAC wants to find out what was done with the other $164,000 he better plan a road trip.
Not sure when that is scheduled for.

lfj @ noon - I agree. Duhfense is hiding something. At the very least it’s the identity of an investigator or expert. But the judge is not requiring them to provide IDs. All they have to provide is like 3 Investigators = $20,000; 4 experts = $50,000; etc.
This way I’m sure the duhfense can continue to hide a LOT!

Something very strange is going on with G and C. I wonder if this whole River/mistress thing is an attempt on their part to provide another red herring - or even another person to blame!

m2c it was LE that found the calls from Georges phone to River Cruz. It was reported between 20 to 30 calls and some text messages. It was on Nancy Grace last night. I believe there is some kind of relationship there. I believe this woman is embellishing the story for money. George can deny all he wants to, but him calling this woman this often seems kind of hinky to me. Rivers sister said that River would go to the bank and take out cash and give it to George. There is no actual evidence there to connect them. The guard at Rivers gated community may be able to identify George if he came to her home. Other than that not much. One of his text told her he needed her in his life.
If this is true then all fingers point to Casey noone else. George could only say that it was an accident that snowballed out of control if Casey herself told her dad about it.
I personally see it as MURDER. It is not an accident when you use chloroform and duct tape.

I mean, it was important enough that they went to Strickland to request it be guarded and kept under wraps and Strickland agreed. What is in those letters? Can’t Wait.

And I think I know why Cindy was looking so happy and Geo so miserable….Cindy already had Geo’s family jewels which I think she carried in her purse and Geo was only allowed to use with Cindy’s permission. Well, it looks like the chick claiming to have an affair with Georgie has a criminal past. It appears she and her sister have been in jail multiple times for domestic, jewelry theft and other charges. Not sure how she could give Geo $5,000 when she’s busy stealing jewelry from neighbors….unless she gave him money for the sale of stolen goods! OH, now THAT is good. It is looking like this chick won’t be such a good witness afterall. Am curious if ANY of her evidence (pictures, texts, phone calls, guard testimony at her residence) pans out. Time will tell.

Denise, I will tell this to you because I feel that you are interested in a few FACTS. As I previously stated lbstarke has already had much more than “15 minutes of fame”. She has trained dogs of numerous types and for many avenues of search and rescue as well as therapy dogs. She has received many recognitions and honors for her dogs achievements. She is in no need of a minute in the spot light. Many of her honors are for the massive amount of hours she has devoted to searches.Due to her experience working with many searches she was contacted and requested to work with TES when they were searching for Haleigh. During that time she met the family which led to her being requested by FAMILY to be at the fake search, even though she was unaware it was a fake search. I would hate to be so childish to discount the work of such a selfless volunteer who has been recognized by the State of Florida for her services.

Gee, Yesterday I got in trouble for being a Ron hater and today I am called out for bashing Crystals side. I did the reasearch on Gunny and his handler before I made any statements. He is not trained as a search and rescue dog. The woman trains therapy dogs and yes she does that very well. But to take that dog in a search would be like taking the family pet. jmo bbl

I do not have a problem with family searching for Haleigh; I feel it is appropriate that they do. Even if LE called off their searches, they cannot expect family or friends to stop searching. Dogs may or may not be used, and imo, many dogs are capable of amazing feats even if not officially certified. I don’t know about that particular dog but to me that is irrelevant.

That a fake search was organized, and fake evidence was planted, is relevant, imo. This is not appropriate in the midst of a missing child investigation. And I do not understand why LE would not want to get to the bottom of that. There was also a smaller-scale fake search that TN led Cobra on.

Family on both sides have acted oddly many times and on many different levels. What bothers me the most is that they seem insistent on continuing whatever Hatfield & McCoy-type feud they had going on prior to Haleigh going missing, rather than coming together for the purpose of finding this little girl!

IMO, all of the adults on both sides failed Haleigh.

Does anyone know what happened in court with Lisa today? I am going to go see what I can find out. bbl

I don’t think what gunny can and can’t do is really all that important anyway, it’s the behavior of the rest of that group that is what is being called into question.

Gunny has always had the natural ability to air scent and yes, i am qualified to train him as that.Marie knew this; i told her right from the beginning that he is not a SAR dog but an air scent dog.I told her that I would volunteer with Gunny for Crisis Response and search the area with Gunny.
Treece is correct with what she said about me.
I have trained dogs for over 30 years in different fields and volunteered countless hours. I am qualified; Gunny is just not a pet.
The fake search was not professional and I contacted LE about it.
Connie supposedly was given the tip from a psychic; that is what I was told.
Gunny was supposedly given scent for Haleigh and went to the wood pile.TES would have torn it apart but John regan told me that she couldn’t be there. He told me that she couldn’t be in the water or the woods. Then why would a professional search team, TES, look in the water and the woods for several days. Yes, John Regan told me that he couldn’t tell me his identity because he was undercover.

Cobra wasn’t even there when John regan told me that he was undercover.I have tried to contact him several times to ask him about him lying and he doesn’t answer.Someday, we might know.
Gunny could be trained to be a SAR dog but I choose only to use him in air scent because of the fear of snakes. I told them that I did not want him searching in the high brushes at the San Mateo search.
When my friend,Gunny and I went on our private searches and Gunny alerted to something, I would call the area in to Pegi Cone and yes, pegi Cone went there to investigate the area.

Pegi Cone told me that the items had been tampered with; that is how I found out that John regan was not undercover.
Gunny found toys that were under a bush and when I went back; they were still there.

How did Peggy Cone react to John Regan telling you he was undercover?

If only everyone would tell the truth and Haleigh would have been found by now

He said that Marty Sheffield is who ask him to come to the search.
John Regan is who handed him the keys that fit NayNays car.
Captain Dom. Piscitello sp? is who Cobra tried to give the keys to as evidence and he refused to take them.

Bistark are you the person that was rported by someone at Haliegh Bug Foundation, they claimed Crystal took pills from(stole) an had to get a plane ride home sick because you didnt have your perscribed medication.

I feel this case was bungled in the beginning,even now i feel something not right.I feel Detective PC should have went to the serch sight anyway,no matter her thoughts. All spots,an claims to have found something,or seen Haliegh.Should have been checked out.No matter what PC thought about it.Its to rule eveything out.

The search was set up by Marty “Johnny”Sheffield, who invited Cobra; John Regan was saying he was a detective for FBI; Cobra got suspicious immediately when a substance resembling was found, and Marty Sheffield insisted it was blood; apparently, the dog disputed that. Cobra is quoted on tape as saying that Sheffield became enraged when it was ruled out…he kept on insisting it was blood.
Cobra stated that he thought how odd that MS hoped it would be blood??

So, theres the reason for the fake search: the purpose of it was to find blood and evidence that would hint at the possibility of Haleigh being dead.

Yep, another INGENIOUS plan from Johnny Sheffield.

He had John Regan play the role of fbi; remember, John Regan was behind the Haleigh bug center too.

Its all so obvious: Marie is lead to that spot from a psychic? Then Johnny Sheffield organizes the search w/his stooge Regan who flashes his “official” fbi plastic badge he got from walmart; Judy was used as a pawn, because J Sheffield thought that would be his shining moment when the dog smelled “blood”. Hmmmm, looks like that backfired on ole Johnny.

P.Cone was behind that fake search.
Of course she would say evidence couldn’t be used cuz it was “tampered” with…..
Kim Picazio was in on it too.

The sole purpose was for the dog to scent the blood and it would be Haleighs. Now, J.S. gets Haleigh,(the public thinking she is dead), CASE CLOSED, and off into the sunset the whole family rides away.

Don’t forget about that WHOLE TERM LIFE INSURANCE POLICY that Grandpa Sheffield took out on Haleigh.

This information was quoted by several people who are acquaintances/friends of the family. It was in First Coast News early on in the investigation. These people notified PCSO of this. They also told PCSO that when Sheffield bought the policy, he bragged about it; therefore, when Haleigh disappeared, they knew that they had to go report the insurance policy info to the authorities.

Generally, term insurance is cheaper per dollar of coverage, but only pays out if death occurs within the ‘term’.

Whole life policies have a cash value, and some other insurance products that go by other names have a whole life/cash value part, in addition to a term insurance coverage - they are a combo investment/insurance deal with higher premiums.

The motive behind your theory is interesting - I recall the recording of Cobra talking about a substance [tree sap?] not being blood.

Goodmorning All! I believe if Haleighs disappearance lyes with the maternal side of the family it is Johnny Sheffield. I have always believed that.
If there is any credibility to Mistys statement in her letter from jail, then the maternal side is not involved. I honestly believe Misty has significant info about Haleighs disappearance and she is trying to save herself for whatever involvement she may have had.

LFJ, I totally agree. PCSO better hope that Haleigh gets found if it involves JS otherwise they will really have egg on them. I dont see the investigation going that way though and there must be evidence pushing them towards Misty and someone else. They had a year to investigate both sides and even though we dont have all the info I feel they did just that.
All this other stuff was side show info that got way out of hand and led us down different paths than the real path.Like some on the show have said it all happened in the 1st 24 hrs. and the rest was just nonsense from the familys. tobias: I think it’s possible that GGM Sykes’ and TN’s OPINION of M changed after her binge vacation away from R. And they very likely were NOT happy that she was back. However they did not bad-mouth her publicly until after R’s arrest.
How many moms and grandmoms of 20+ year old men (fathers) are able to TELL them what to do or have much influence over them at all -especially regarding what women they see? Very few, I imagine.
BUT M seemed to want to stay with R. She was about the only one beaming at her own wedding, that’s for sure.
Anyway, as far as TN and GGma Sykes NOT filling in for M when she supposedly said she was too tired to babysit that night - I think it’s possible it was one of those “You want to marry R and be a ‘mommy’? Well, get used to it. Moms “babysit” when they are TIRED too!”

Plus TN and GGm Sykes may have thought they were helping to prevent her from going out partying again. So I can’t fault them for that.

Geesh. M could have gone to sleep at 8pm with the kids. If she was so darned tired why stay up until 10pm?

It could have been accidental death by a drug that belonged to him, or he was told belonged to him. Or it could have been a revenge kidnapping, for any reason, really; he has a temper and likely pizzed people off left and right even if he didn’t actually owe money.

Also still not out of the picture for me is stranger abduction, in which case none of them might know where Haleigh is or who took her. Stranger abduction makes the most sense to me as the only way Ronald might not have any clues. If it were family abduction seems to me he would have ferreted out what happened.

m2c, I was looking on Nancy Grace page yesterday and it was implying the letter is accussing Tommy and Joe. Maybe this is what LE wants us to believe I do not know. I can see them helping Misty out in a pinch. You are right there is terribly something wrong with Mistys story. I have thought that since the beginning. I found myself feeling sorry for her at times, but this girl has some serious issues. I no longer feel sympathy for her any longer.

Well, maybe I should start by outlining what I think is going on and get your feedback on it.

I was satisfied with that for a while but a lot of things that Ron and Misty have done still troubled me. Then it occured to me that Ronald may have been sort of “set up.”

m2c: I have always wondered if the reason TN didn’t give in to Misty and babysit the kids that night is this:

There could have been an agreement b/w him and his Mom that she was not to help Misty and enable her anymore…also it would be a secret way for him to know that she was not in a sober enough state to be capable…

And since she did just come off of her wild weekend, and they had been fighting, it was not in her best interest to shirk her responsibilities?!
I keep remembering how supposedly Ron had kicked her out, so maybe he laid the law down after that: if u want to be here, I expect you to do a damn good job around here!!

I firmly believe that from what we have seen of Ronald and his “temper” and manner, I’m sure he is that type of boyfriend; I would also bet that he would never tolerate any inappropriate behavior in front of his children.
I know that sounds contradictory, but there are plenty of parents that even though they may have bad lifestyle choices, they still would not do it in front of their children. Ron strikes me as that type.

Can u imagine being Misty and having Ron ask u: “why couldn’t u watch MY CHILDREN?? Oh lordy lordy….looks like someones got some splainin’ to do!!

The best explanation, to me, was that he was creating an alibi. Especially when you consider the gun incident with Cousin Joe Overstreet. It was like he was trying to make Joe look guilty of something while making sure his alibi was solid.

But whoever suggested to him that they do this was actually setting Ron up. Ron thought it was going to be a fake kidnapping, from his perspective, and then it turned out to be real.

hi ronfan, now that I am done explaining kto and asking blstarke for feedback since I have the opportunity, I want to say that I completely agree with you about Ron’s personality. He controls his image very tightly (to the point of smiling in a mug shot!) so it would make sense that he would control his children’s environment very tightly as well.

Vaquera, and also about Tommy, he might have even “loaned” the keys to the blue van to whomever and that’s how it got all scratched up. If PCSO finds Haleigh indications in the blue van, who cares because she rides in that fairly often. If it were blood it would mean something, but not hair or touch DNA or whatever.

Vaquera, Finally, who gave Crystal pills during her time staying in Putnam county, her dad or Tommy? (Go ahead and get a good giggle out of this question, I just want to be sure I understand correctly.)

Also I saw mention that at least one poster believes that P. Cone was behind that alleged fake search. Can anyone direct me to facts that reveal this information?

Gunny showed no interest in anyone at the search.
I even offered to donate to the Haleighbug Foundation and Marie told me that the Haleighbug foundation has never taken any money or is not accepting any.
I was on good terms with them; I was there every week doing searches and bringing Gunny to Ron Jr.
Remember, I was always a volunteer, never was paid.
All of a sudden,they are avoiding me.

Dogs are amazing when you watch them closely. Tobias never met my sister or brother until recently and he has problems with strangers until I tell him its okay. Both of them came and he immediatly knew they were family. We guessed it was scent from our DNA and our voice patterns. That is more than likely why Gunny liked Ron he could smell JR. and him being related. Dogs know. jmo

ronfan, I am sorry to have to throw another monkey wrench into things for you but cobra has since recanted and/or changed his mind on some things since then. I don’t have a detailed list of those things that he mentioned in later radio shows but hearing that has forced me to wonder about everything - because he’s not recently confirmed or commented on everything he’s said so far.

Morning all, Is anyone up for discussing the scent track the canine unit followed the morning of 3/10?
A few things have me puzzled. We have the outline but not the details. The theories that have been given as of today in my mind do not account for all the evidence found within the first 48 hours.
Our person of interest had a motive to take HaLeigh. This POI had the ability to get in that trailer. This POI had the opportunity to steal HaLeigh.
Our POI walked HaLeigh out the back door ad bricked screen door, down the ramp and straight into the wooded area behind the trailer. Our POI walked along a wooden path directly to a pond.
***This is my first WTH and WHY comes in and IMO an indication of who our POI might be.
Our POI then goes back to Green lane( the rout places our POI at the last trailer on Green Lane.
***IMO it is obvious with the following track that our POI and HaLeigh got into a car.
Our POI then takes a left off of Green Lane onto Monroe and goes past the first right that would be Tyler and the only road out of the trailer park, and proceeds to take a left on Buckingham and loops back around to Monroe and then takes a right and goes back down to take that missed left turn onto Tyler and out of the trailer park.
****Was our POI lost? Not from the neighbor-hood? Not a neighborhood SO, watcher in the woods? Was this not an inside job?
I just can not logically conclude that our POI knew this neighborhood or was knowingly trying to confuse a scent tracking dog.
The dogs lost the scent track at the RR tracks after leaving the trailer park.
**** I have to ask would rate of speed after the tracks and the fact that the train passed on the tracks that am after the abduction and before the canines tracked be the reason no scent was available to follow?

There is an incident statement fromPCSO that states the dogs were blood hounds brought in from a florida prison. Specially trained in scent and tracking. HGM has alot of the info I remember we all went over this a while back.
The other dogs brought in came from FDLE and were cadaver dogs. No other dogs were brought in by PCSO. The path the scent hounds followed was pretty much the path Misty and Haleigh took when they walked to Tommys sometimes.
And scent stays for days and some times even months. jmo

We know HaLeigh did have her own bed and that night Misty claims she slept in it. If it is a fact that a scent can last then HaLeighs sheets would still have her scent and my logic would lead me to think that LE was using HaLeighs sheets. If you can prove this is not the case then of course it would change the out come of our conclusion, but, it does not make any sense at this time to theorize that LE used the master beds sheets or blankets to obtain HaLeighs scent from if it was where everyone (Misty, Jr., Haeigh)slept that night.

I was outside sitting with Gunny at the Haleighbug Center on March 22nd. Crystal came running out behind the back of the building crying. I asked someone what upset her. The person told me that Cobra was talking to her.
Soon afterwards, jeremiah told me that they were planning to search in Pomona Park then changed it since a Psychic from Arkansas gave them a tip to search the San Mateo site.
The keys were not found until Cobra arrived and when he did arrive, he announced that he had something in his vehicle, that would break the case wide open.if I get killed telling the truth about this case, so be it.The truth has to come out.
What really got me is that I went weekly over there to help search for Haleigh or to work with Gunny with the children at the center. Even some of the adults enjoyed Gunny. Crystal even had her picture taken with Gunny. I would call ahead of the time to make sure someone was there. One time, Crystal answered the phone and I asked her if they were going to be there for a while so I could bring Gunny. She flat out told me that she didn’t know who I was.
Chad told me there were thousands taken from the Haleighbug Center. He hated Jeremiah, was very jeolous of him.When I asked Crystal and Chad their thoughts about the San Mateo search, they denied that they knew anything about it.

So do we assume the sheets are HaLeighs alone or not? What is the consensus on this one piece of the puzzle? Does it make sence for LE to use the sheets/bedding from the master bed where they all could of slept or the sheets from HaLeighs toddler mattres?
The obvious fact that it contaminated the evidence is something that LE will eventualy have to explain IMO, but, it still showed a result IMO.
So the argument as to what bedding was used and how it was contaminated has no bearing on the fact that it established a track that the dogs followed and was related in some way that early morning to HaLeigh, correct me if I am wrong with this thought and conclusion.

tm39 due to the fact that the scent that the dogs had followed could have been there for hours, days, weeks etc… and tthe fact that there is no evidence to suggest which bedding were actually being used (Was it a bedding that would even have Haleigh’s scent on it or?0 I can make no opinion one way or another about any part of it.

Well, I DO think the track was related to someone who slept on those sheets ie at least Misty, if not Haleigh. Possibly both.

One interview Greenwood states that the bedding was removed from the home. It was later told that the sheets had been put out there for the dogs. I guess they collected them after letting the dogs sniff them. I’d say not a proper place to lay them down at but who am I?

That is a fact, Crystal and Marie did not show up for approx. 8 hours after they were notified that Haleigh was kidnapped.

TM39 we don’t have any facts that it was the sheets on the bed that they had currently slept in but YES that is what was originally reported.

An educated assumption would be that the parent would arrive at the scene to seek LE and the answers to her questions and be of assistance in finding HaLeigh. It makes no sense to me that CS would go to PCSO and not to the trailer that LE was crawling all over and around for her daughter.

Hgmom, it is likely that whether it was sheets on the bed or from the dirty clothes that they had more than one persons scent. It is a FACT that normally LE would use a personal item of the
missing child. Like her underwear, socks etc.

Considering that the location of PCSO were along the way enroute to the MH it would not strike me as odd that the PCSO would be stop number one if indeed that were the case.

I give the sheets, the dogs and the searches are an argument waiting to happen and unproductive.
I guess we can just moan and groan how LE fudged this case up and how cold it was the momment the 911 call was placed and the corrupt and incompitent PCSO arrived at the sceane.
I have tried to work through the unrealistic and illogical theories that disregard all this evidence and the facts as they have been revealed to all in the first 48-72hrs from LE and how many of them have came to the conclusion without this pertanant piece to the puzzle. How can any of the evidence as it was revealed by LE in this begining stages of a missing childs case be disregarded and come to a logical conclusion.

I have not blamed anyone for Misty’s inconsistencies.
What I see happening is LE is being discredited by their actions in regards to what and how they used the items in question and we as the public are being misguided to think we can not rely on the evidence that was noted in the police report and that the medias interpretation and the our misguided perception is more reliable to judge the actions of LE and the found evidence to relevant to the crime.

I saw Judy Lucia at walmart, she had a table set up and when i approached her she asked me would i like to make a donation as i looked over i saw my husband coming out of the door he did not know where i was parked because we were parked around back at the automotives dept. we were exchanging a battery that i had bought there barely a month ago. so he had to take the battery up front to customer service and i pulled around front. as soon as she spoke to me i saw him coming out and walked up to him. i really dont know her and my son is afraid of animals. you name it he is scared except for frogs. he loves frogs. so really i saw no need for conversation. i mean what am i going to say. like i said i dont know her. and we try to keep to ourselves.

Thank you for asking about our well-being. Life feels on the upswing now as the pressure sore is still mending - no reversal, and best of all he is gaining strength: he can now change position on his own a little.

Hadn’t realized today is the FIRST DAY OF SPRING until Vaq mentioned it, which has me wondering:

During one of the heavy snow storms we had last month, a young, pregnant cat took shelter on our front porch. We brought her in, and made arrangements to take her to a no-kill shelter, then decided against it because she would be caged for the duration of her pregnancy and until her kittens were weaned.

She’s a silver/white tuxedo cat, and we’ve been calling her ‘Gracie’, but last evening I thought about giving her a name to reflect her taking shelter with us during a snowstorm, such as ‘Winter’, ‘Snow’, or ‘Stormy’.

Well, lo and behold, around 4:15 PM she walked onto our dog’s bed (with him in it - lol), meowed a meow I had never heard from her before, her water broke, and I heard the tiny meows of a newborn kitten.

Mom and three newborns are now secure in a large pet travel carrier lined with a incontinence pad over newspapers.

She arrived here on a cold day in the dead of Winter, and is giving birth to new lives on the first day of Spring. The first day of the seaaon of renewal, re-birth.

Beautiful, you lost your home during the Winter, but because it is now Spring, I feel hopeful that for you, too, the days of this season will be a re-birth, a renewal, of the best days of your life.

tobias, the fact that you have a different opinion on this case does NOT bother me. The fact that we could discuss a subject and state ideas or different view points is not offensive or irritating. The statements that you make that aren’t opinions but are listed or stated as facts when they are totally wrong is what is annoying. For you to say, “I think Misty knows more than she tells” is a very fair statement. To say, “Misty has been a drug addict since she was 10″ is a lie. Those statements that are wrong or that you don’t KNOW to be true are what’s irritating. Yours are always against Ron and in favor or Crystal. I think most people on here want TRUTH more then proving their “favorite” person to be right.

Johnny/Marty (I’m not sure which he prefers to be called) was arrested back in August (although nothing became of the charges). Would you be willing to tell us who was the “victim” of the charges? Normally it says on the Court dockets, and it never said on this particular charge.

And I know this will not help us find HaLeigh, but a lot of people are questioning this, and if we have an answer, perhaps it will stop all the questions. Thank you very much.

j that was not marty that was his son back in aug marcus he was not arressted he doesnt even know who filed the charges but he thinks it was some boy he knew that might have filed it.
alot of times people file charges and you never know unless you get arrested or the states attorney proceeds with it.

Hmmmmmmm, seeing as you’re reading in this forum at the moment, can you tell me how Crystal was able to afford the new pipes she had added to her truck, I’m wondering if donation monies were used, or perhaps Marie G. is paying for them on a payment plan. Tobias has posted that as the truth on here about a dozen times. Vaquera and I posted pictures of the truck and proof that he had it before the CS money numerous times before she got it. Please don’t get that one going again. lol

Just a note here to let you all know, I have no reason what so ever to doubt that this is really Connie Sheffield blogging with ya’ll here. Please mind your manners and remember this is her and her husbands grand daughter that we have all been praying for to be found alive and safe. Please try to have respect for her for Haleigh’s sake even if you don’t agree with her.

Thanks for your post. I know that Watt’s Funeral Home was responsible for the money, I just never knew where it went. I suppose the monies received from his tax refund (could it have been that much?) and what CS paid him could have covered it. I was wondering if TN was making any payments.

for your info i just want the truth and agree that both sides of the family have been through enough. i have no control over what other people say or do. my husband and i talk very little to others. I do not think ronald, his family or crystal or her family deserve such bashing. no lie sure we have had our ups and downs. like i said ronald called here on xmas eve and new years and we talked. i want haleigh found. i of course have my own opinion as to what might have happened but i do not think it involves ronald or any of his family, or cyrstal or her family. as for all of us i feel like we got along good at the vigil. it broke my heart to see Mrs. sykes read that poem and cry. i cried with her. teresa was very friendly i give her a card her grandson took it over to her and she came over and greeted me and marty. ronalds dad also spoke to us and said he wasnt picking sides that he loved everyone. everyone got along and that i feel we all need to do.

Connie, thank you for coming on here and telling your side. No one here should be on either Ron or Crystals side and only focused on what we have read. I have heard alot of things since Haleigh went missing and I would like to hear all sides of the story.
Just a couple of questions and if I overstep just say so. First, how do you feel about Kim Picazio? Secondly, how do you feel about Tim Holmseth? Also I wanted to be upfront and say I felt your husband was behind it but felt he did it for good reasons. I have family members that have used their kids to play tug of war with each other and my impression was Ron and Crystal was using the kids when they needed them. I thought that Marty wanted Ron and Crystal to do whatever but leave the kids out of it and leave them with him. JMO on what I have read. Clear up anything you want!!

I doubt Snodgrass is innocent of much and I still don’t understand why he is not in jail for molesting the two sisters. I pray this case is resolved soon and HaLeigh is home with those who love her.

Of course you can ask what you want but the point (I assume) is to learn something factual. Unfortunately some people believe everything they hear (as long as it suits their agenda). So I wanted to point out that some people don’t have first hand knowledge. They only “know” what they were “told.”

Best wishes for your father and his battle with lung cancer. Cancer is such a horrible disease, but keeping a positive attitude is a huge part of winning the fight. So try to keep strong and help keep your father in a positive mindset if you can. It’s so important. I have a close friend that has beat lung cancer twice. So it can be done.

Why beg for the inevitable confusion and aggravation? It’s certainly not the fault of bloggers who’ve watched the other Pirate derail this case and victimize a lot of people. Can’t blame them (us). Can only blame the other Pirate.

I have given thought to this whole lie detector issue. I thought of it in terms of would I do it and would I do it if I was in a situation such as the Croslin family. With the objective of finding the truth vs being right who it turns out to be does not matter. All that matters is that the responsible party or parties are found and held accountable. A lie detector is a tool not necessarily always 100% correct. Yet administered properly they can be very affective in eliminating or including a source. I would want to avoid the possibility of being accused of having the test geared in a way that favored me. I would want to avoid being subjected to Police corruption. I would also want to avoid being subjected to a source with an agenda. I would present the Police with asking for the test in a professional manner and environment. I would want the entire testing taped and on video available to my council and to be reviewed by a third neutral party not affiliated with myself, council, or the Police, if need be. My legal council must be able to be present through out the testing and or any prepping. My opinion is that if the objective is truly finding out what happened to Haleigh then Police should welcome this as a nugget of Gold. All they want is what happened to her what do they care who it turns out to be. With that said why not allow a person to be represented, in fact invite it. For the Police it alleviates them of accusations of abuse, misleading, and or corruption. For the one being tested it may help clear them if in fact they are innocent. Being in that situation for some might be over whelming and scary especially if trust in Police is low. I would want to be cleared and I would want to take care of myself and family at the same time. I would want to help in finding the truth and helping the child. I would do what is best for myself and others. I would be assertive and take the test. I would offer this to the Police and if they refused I would then be 100% convinced their only objective is to defend their theory vs finding the truth.

I have a list of reasons I think Sapp is guilty. Did you know what happened to Billy’s husband that made it possible for Sapp to move in with her? Check it out, he was run over and killed the day after requesting a restraining order of protection against SAPP! Maybe an accident, maybe not. Another thing, the dumpster that the dogs hit on, that the police said was an anomolie, that dumpster held construction debris. Sapp was in the process of remodling the trailer he and Billy live in. IF he took HaLeigh to that trailer maybe her scent was on that debris that maybe came from his trailer. Like I said I have a huge list. I will be happy to post it if you want. Hang on- you haven’t seen anything yet. You both will be surprised by what Tim has ready to release. He has documents to prove every single word he has printed and I am confident everyone who currently doubts what he is saying will have a quick change of heart.

I know neither of you will agree but wait and see friends, wait and see. It is awful what has happened in Putnam county. All for money. TM39, yes I think many have had a blind eye but some have seen or known the truth and chosen to look the other way and deny it. TRUTH is sometimes painful. IMO everyone that has done anything other then make Haleigh the priority are all guilty to some degree.
m2c, I believe that “higher ups” in the justice department being notified and commissioned to get involved is Haleigh’s only hope.

You know tm39 I really do not care what either side believes. What I care about is where is Haleigh and who did what to cause her disappearance! I’ve never picked a side. I am looking only at the information released to us by LE and it is not just one division of LE who are involved in this investigation.
Things appear hinky on both sides of the family imvho. I am not trying to be mean or rude and anyone of her family members who truly cares about finding Haleigh who might read what I am about to say would understand that I couldn’t give a rats rear end what they think. I am interested only in what truly has happened to this little girl. I’ve seen what appears to be hinkeyness and un clean hands on both sides. I do not doubt for one second that LE is looking at everyone and as I recall LE stated that everyone is suspect.
LE has their reasons for believing that Misty is the key. What that reason is exactly we do not know as none of the evidence has been or can be released as this is an ongoing investigation.
So all of us nobodies can only sit back and wait to see what might be revealed to us.
It sucks but picking a side gets me no closer to knowing what the TRUTH really is one way or the other.

That is the saddest part about this whole case….The side taking. If the truth is that neither one of these parents are guilty of HaLeighs abduction what has it accomplished in the search for HaLeigh?
It is not about a side for me it is about who came into that home and took HaLeigh and has hidden her for 13 months.

EVERYONE should have been interviewed. Connie Sheffield was on here yesterday saying her and Marty were never interviewed. That is a problem!!! I don’t see Tim H getting any book deals or making any money off this at all. In fact he could be the one to solve this case. Believe him or not, at least he is writing about HaLeigh and keeping her name out there. If not for Simon, Jan and Tim, what would we have to read? Also, Tim didn’t insert himself in this investigation, Cobra located him and asked him to help Cobra tell the story of injustice and how poorly things were being handled.

I am not aware of Wayanne writing a book either, but I know she went to Florida to help Crystal with her presence in the media. What happened to her while she was with Cobra, Kim P and the two Regan’s was unacceptable and inexcusable.

The Regan’s, Cobra, and Kim P are just a few on the list of many that need to be fully investigated for their involvement in this case.

I pray HaLeigh is found soon. The families need closure. The people who inserted themselves into this case with their own evil agenda’s need to be charged so this does not happen again in another missing child’s case.

One more thing, why is it that some people who have been very vocal and involved with this case end up going away quietly? Are they being threatened? Wayanne was, Tim has been, even his child was threatened. Was TJ Hart? What about BLStarke and what she tried to do with Gunny, was she threatened? I hear KSue was threatened. When does it end?

When Tim writes his final report in the HaLeigh Ann-Marie Cummings case, the one that will expose ALL of the evil behind this case…

Cobra was not the only one giving out info to Tim H. on this case, Kim P., her brother in law Donald, Knopp, Karen Simmer (She worked with Kim P) Wayanne kruger, Judy Lucia, Marty Sheffield, and others. Nothing he sent to the dept. of justice came out of his mouth. His evidence was what everyone else said. Like I said … if your guilty of someting you can never keep your big mouth shut. and that is what these people have done. Tim H. claims he has alot of evidence showing Peggy Cone as a dirty cop that helped Kim P. try to get custody for Crystal as well as try to set up Misty and White Boy Greg. What intrigues me is that he is daring the cops to call him a liar about things and the cops will not say anything to the public about these accusations.

Inconsistancies can be accounted for and do not indicate guilty. It seems that LE can not jump on Misty with any charge based on those inconsistancies because they do not make her guilty.

If the inconsistancies directly conflict with whatever evidence LE has then obviously LE has interest in clearing those inconsistancies up one way or the other.

TJ told us about Chad being questioned about a month ago on the radio show here. He said he approached LE about it, and they refused to confirm or deny it.

First, no branch of LE is going to dignify TCH’s accusations in public or deal with him thru the media. Get real (to borrow another blogger’s name). TCH will be professionally handled or equally professionally ignored.

Second, some of what TCH claims to have as “proof” is utter rubbish. For example, the famous so-called “quote” from KP (which came from hearsay from Karen Simmer who, if she is who I think she is NEVER worked with or for KP but is an interfering BLOGGER).
Anyway, TCH’s “headline” that KP “knows Haleigh is okay and knows where she is” (paraphrased) is purposefully misleading since the ACTUAL quote read, “I bet she’s fine someplace.” (paraphrased). Lots of people at the time “bet Haleigh was fine” (rather than think she was dead or in dire circumstances). So that was a HUGELY misleading claim by TCH.

TCH’s style is to use PART of a quote or take it out context and often put it in a different context and give it a different meaning than was intended.

If that’s what he’s given to the Justice department they’ll either laugh him out of the room or slap him in jail. Frankly, I’m for the latter.

Well so far he is not in jail for what he knows and secondly no one has laughed him off. From the statement I seen the justice dept. has is complaint and a full investigation will pursue.

Denise, TCH would not be in jail for what he “knows” or thinks he knows. He’d be in jail for libel or bringing a frivolous claim or something. Just because he is NOT in jail does not mean anything at all about him is credible.

All he has said since submitting his “phone book” of info is that the Justice Department is in receipt of it (which he could obtain by having sent it certified mail) and that he is “cooperating” which means NOTHING! It could mean he’s sitting by the phone hoping they’ll call.

Treece, thank you for trying to understand. I am talking about ONE thing - and that is TCH’s headlines and stories which I think often misrepresent the truth or what was intended by the speaker OR simply convey misinformation.

For example, his headline “Kim Picazio Knows Haleigh is Alive and Well” is flat out misrepresentation. A lie. Her quote in the small print way down the page was “I bet Haleigh is alive and well.”

“I bet” is key to her statement. Just like in my statement that “my opinion would be the same about his reporting.” If you leave off the “about his reporting” it changes the meaning of my statement. That’s what I see him do.

Personally, I have a huge problem with that kind of reporting. But that is a separate subject from whether his theories are right or wrong, or whether his heart’s in the right place etc.

So, are we okay now?

Yes, everyone! Treece and I can disagree and discuss, even argue, but we do it with respect for each other. Sometimes one of us changes our mind and sometimes we end up agreeing to disagree. But we still respect each other.

I stumbled upon this blog just tonight. I do not know much about this case except that a young girl is missing and father and gf do drugs. That is all I know.

I pray she is found, and pray mostly for the biological Mother who must be living in Hell!

I just spent all this time since my post sifting through some of the post here. Is it me or is it that the whole lot of the family have been arrested, accused, or doing drug? That little girl had no chance in life with these people. My focus is on the girl and nobody else.

I’m an intuitive, but I don’t seek money, stardom or anything like that because frankly I don’t force myself to see things because, there is a big danger in doing so. If I am meant to see it, I’ll see it.

It would take me days to give my resume’ and I won’t because frankly I don’t’ even know if I can help here.

I was speaking to my sister on the phone (she lives in Fl) and she mentioned the poor little girl. That was when I went online to figure out who she was talking about and found this site.

Things happen for a reason is my belief and I found this site for a reason. I’ll book mark it but not knowing anything about the case will help to validate anything I hit on.

However, I now seem to have a perspective of these family members that isn’t good at all. I don’t know the names, who is Crystal I read? Is that the mother or GF? Who is Ron? Oh never mind. I don’t want to know!

The FBI should have been in charge right from the get go.

I shall email Mark Klass and see if and what can be done to change this. Something has to change, it can be the Haleigh Law, FBI govern and local LE work with them.

I’d also like to see all RSO’s permanently locked up, I feel the only reason Chelsea King was murdered was because a jude ignored the psychiatric report, so very, very sad.
