Now this is what I would call bizarre and ludicrous. I guess at this point nothing in this murder case should surprise me, but this really caught my attention.
Everyone knows who Caylee Anthony was. She was a gorgeous little girl living in Orlando Florida with her mom, grandmother and grandfather. She went missing in mid-June 2008 but wasn’t reported to authorities for 31 days and even then the mother didn’t want it to be reported saying she was looking for her on her own. The problem with that is she appeared to be looking in the wrong places for a 2 year old child. Who would expect to find a little girl hanging out in nightclubs swinging on dance poles? Well her mother must have because that is where she was at night while her daughter was missing. I would hardly call that searching for a missing child.
Caylee’s remains were found within walking distance of the family home on December 11, 2008 in a laundry bag which was put inside a garbage bag and her mouth was wrapped with duct tape. Her mother has been in jail since October 2008, after a grand jury handed down an indictment for murder against her and she has been held without bail ever since. And then the games began with the defense team.
Simon announced on our Sunday radio show March 8, 2010 Jose (Bozo) Baez seems to have lost his mind by asking that the taxpayers help pay for Caylee’s mother’s legal fees that seem to be adding up. They want us to pay for fees such as cost of travel, serving subpoenas, hiring experts, deposing witnesses and investigating expenses involved. Why should we pay for high priced (as they would like to think of themselves) lawyers for this woman? If they can’t afford to stay on the case as it is then let her get a court appointed lawyer like everyone else has to do that can’t afford an attorney. And then they aren’t even going to get this to trial until May 9, 2011 time and location to be determined by further order of the court.
Are these attorneys buying time from the taxpayers and court systems hoping they can tire the public of this case so the juror’s will go easy on her? Well if I can help it that isn’t going to happen. I will continue keeping her name out until little Caylee Anthony gets the justice she so rightly deserves.
The next thing that shocked me was that this so called dream team wanna be’s filed new motions this week to try and get some of the prosecutions evidence blocked from the jury. The list is as follows.
*The infamous 911 call made by Cindy Anthony complaining about her daughter’s car smelling like there was a dead body in there. (They are trying to say that since Caylee had been missing for 31 days already the phone call was not spontaneous or reliable) It is quite obvious why they don’t want this to be used. They know what this 911 call can do to their case.
*They don’t want the jury to see all the photos of Casey partying at the different nightclubs. (They say the photos “paint a picture of an irresponsible, drunken, promiscuous and wild defendant” and contain “inflammatory imagery that would unfairly prejudice Anthony before a jury) Well DUH! That is exactly what she is, why hide it from the jury. The truth will hurt her case and they know it.
*Then they are asking the judge to throw out the things that Anthony’s friends and family describe her as including a thief, liar and a bad mother saying it is all hearsay. I would say that her family and friends would be the best ones to ask about how she really was since they know her well.
I guess this is the best they can come up with in her defense. They know that all the other tricks they have tried to pull have backfired on them. They should just wash their hands with it and hand the case over to a public defender and let them just pray for the best.
I am praying for justice for Caylee and I know I am not alone in this one. I just know she is looking down and waiting for it herself. God bless you Caylee. America will never forget you, neither will the world.

If the cost is getting out of hand, dismiss the so called attorneys and give her a public defender. Throw out things like the 911 call or the pictures of this spoiled brat out– That is ridiculous! If thats the case, throw out all the evidence. They are all running scared, they know how the jury is going to vote no matter where this takes place. I would be pleading with her to plead guilty or make some type of plea instead of acting like complete morons. I am sorry, but I don’t believe the tax payers should have to dish out money for her. I think the bozo’s are getting disquisted because they know they are not going to get paid for their work.
I believe that if her family and friends have things to say, they must know her the best.

The defense has nothing. I saw on this mornings early news that they are saying Casey does meet the indigent guidelines.
I believe everyone deserves their day in court, but we should not have to pay for expensive representation.

We have to keep in mind that not only Cindy stated that the car smelled like ‘a dead body was in the damn car’, but Lee and George both made mention of the same fact also.
So if the Defense has that portion of the 911 blocked…..that means the State won’t be allowed to go that route when they have Lee & George on the stand…..???
THAT CALL IS VITAL, and it was that very call that told LE and the Public that a child was missing…..for 31 days.

Thank you Jan for still caring about justice for Caylee. I think this is just another tactic to get Casey off but no matter how it is presented in her court case there are no excuses for her actions and behaviors when Caylee went missing. As a mother myself if one of my kids went missing I would do everything and use every resource available to find them! Casey is accountable for Caylee and the 911 phone calls are public knowledge so I don’t think they will be thrown out in this case. May God bless you all for the caring for the kids who are being harmed by others.

Uh, I thought the Moron Team was doing this all Pro-Bono…..but now we see where Casey paid them $111,000. So which is it Baez? Are you Pro-Bono or just a bonehead? (I vote for the latter). Why does Casey deserve special treatment? If other defendants can’t afford an attorney, they get a public defender. If Casey can’t afford an attorney (or her present team of maggots) then why should she be any different! Get her a pubic defender and be done with it.
So if they had video of Casey killing Caylee would the defense want that thrown out on the grounds that it was “inflamatory” and “increminating”? Well, DUH? The jury has EVERY right to know what this poor excuse of a mother was doing while her daughter was missing AND know what her own family’s initial reaction was WHICH includes the initial interviews and the 911 calls.
Casey might actually do better WITH a public defender as Baez certainly hasn’t done her any favors! He took a case that was already a train wreck and loaded the train with dynamite! He is a worthless, self-serving, lying, deceitful, conartist who is only in this for his own fame. At least a public defender would make decisions based on the need of his/her client rather than what will garnish him/her the most fame.
If Judge Strickland rules in favor of these motions I think Floridians should take action to let him know this is NOT okay with them and this is NOT how they choose to have their tax dollars spent!

Hi, I am a firefly. Don’t post anymore but have followed from the beginning. Just had to comment tho’ on the topic of Casey’s indigent status. I have read the comments from you dear bloggers that if Casey can’t pay her very expensive legal team then she should just get a public defender same as anyone else. First instinct is to say yeah, get a public defender, that is what everyone is entitled to if they can’t pay a so-called hot-shot legal team. But, consider the amount of time and money this has already cost. If a public defender were to be appointed, this case will take even longer to try and cost tax-payers even more because the new lawyer(s) would have to have time to become familiarized with the case to properly prepare the defense. If the Baez/Lyon continue to remain as council, the case can still proceed with the date set by JS. Now that the state would be paying the costs, all monies payed to the defense becomes public knowledge and must be accounted for to the cent. The state is not going to just hand over money for frivolities. There will be a much tighter hold on funds and the push to get this case tried. Delay tactics by the duhfence won’t fly.

Many times from what I have read, tey go back to look at prievious cases and they stand as a good way out of murder. Little sweetie Caylee, it was a shame that you had the misfortune of being born (and had your life wasted). When I read the other day, that the Defence aka Dream Team are wanting to have removes of the lovely pictures of Casey partying. Which was the time precious Caylee was suppose to be missing (as to our knowledge), when in reality little Caylee had already been murdered, with duct tape wrapped and re wrapped around her little mouth and nose, so that she could not possible breathe, and perhaps drugged, then put in several trash bags in a wooden area as though she were trash. I nearly fell off my chair, as to the amazement of how Casey and her Defense Team are wanting done. Then I really fell off my chair when the Defense Team are wanting Tax payers to pay for Casey’s Defense. These people are either crazy or thinking the court system and the Tax payers are nutty. If they get away with this, I say give all the people who are in jail, or on death row, including other murderer’s and rapist a get out of jail key. Just let them all out. I guess the Defense is trying to paint Casey as a Saint, and plan to resurrect a statue for her, as a devoted, hard working and loving mother. What happened to Casey’s money that some weirdo’s was sending her so she can buy snacks, and make-up, etc. while she is in jail. How about George and Cindy taking a so called needed vacation. Didn’t they receive some money for being on TV and other articles while their house is in process of foreclosure. If the Tax payers are to pay for the Defence, later on they will be on easy street when the trial is over (no matter what the verdict is) as there will be books wrote, and Movies to be made regarding this high profile case. I believe the phrase is if one does not have an attorney or “cannot afford one” one will be appointed by the court. This means Public Defender.
If, however, the state does agree to pay for CA’s defense, it should be paid at the same rate that a PD would cost, not at the rate a private attorney or the high-priced dream team would normally charge.

You know, I believe I remember reading that Geo and Sindee got $100,000 for pics of Caylee….and they’ve since been paid for interviews and other pics…..is this possibly the $120,000 that Bozo has already been paid? Is that where their money went and why they never made a house payment? Has the well run dry? Now the supposed Pro Bono Bozo wants to get paid and expects the state to pick up the tab! I’m sickened everytime that I see G & C looking tearful in the courtroom. They knew what they raised and Grandma forced her to have that child. Now that little Angel is gone and they all need to be held accountable for what their daughter did. I can’t believe they went on a cruise and I don’t care that they are losing their house. I also don’t care that Casey can’t afford a lawyer, too bad, get a PD like everyone else that gets in trouble and can’t afford a lawyer.

mikesmom - that is what I don’t get….if she can’t pay the dream team then why isn’t she forced to just get a PD like everyone else and don’t tell me that a PD would need time to prepare because they’ll have over a year before trial which should be plenty of time. Okay, so OBVIOUSLY they KNEW they weren’t paying their house payment for 9 months but they blame Bank of America for not notifying them about the foreclosure? What did they THINK would happen if they didn’t make a house payment for 9 months? The refinanced the house four years ago for $121,000 and STILL owe almost that entire amount. It sounds like they’ve missed a LOT of payments over the years! Cindy is still whining about disability and Geo can’t find work. SELL THE BOAT AND FOUR WHEELER FOR STARTERS! I’m sure Geo could get a security job or even a fast food job. It is a matter of WANTING to work which they obviously do not want to do. And how long is Cindy going to milk this disability thing? How convenient for the scheme team. Now they are saying she is indigent, when they knew this all along. They knew she would never be able to keep up with those huge payments she gave them in the beginning, when she sold precious Caylee’s photo’s for blood money.

They not only created the monster that is Casey Anthony, they put Caylee in danger by overlooking the obvious warning signs that Casey could hurt Caylee, THEN covered up for her and lied for her after their monster child killed the grandchild they claimed to love. THEN, they sold Caylee off in bits and pieces for blood money so they could go on a cruise….now they are looking for handouts to save their house (Hey ANTHOLES, How about you sell that boat…you know the one you got so you could search for missing swimming children)…or maybe you could have used that money you spent on the cruise to pay your house payment…..and NOW they want the tax payers to pay for the defense of the monster THEY created. One of the things that I have wondered about, was if they loved Caylee so much, why weren’t they worried they hadn’t had any contact with her for 31 days?? Even having 2 days pass and not seeing her, should have made them worry. Didn’t they care where she was sleeping, if she was being taken care of, was she being fed, how she was doing in general. Casey had never taken Caylee away from them for more then one day, and they admitted this way back. Casey was busy stealing checks, shopping, drinking, partying, having sex, hoping that Sindy and George would just over look her not having Caylee anymore. The way they’ve always over looked anything she had ever done.

Exactly flowerchild! My parents, see our kids everyday just about, we live 5 minutes apart, and if they don’t see them that day, they call to say goodnight to the grandkids. There is always always constand contact with all the grandkids.
I just don’t understand how George and Sindy didn’t attempt to even speak to Caylee on the phone. (They couldn’t, after June 15th). They just went along like everything was ok. Sindy called the police to report her car stolen, and then as an after thought, oh where is Caylee? I am not blaming them for Caylee’s death, but I just do not understand why they didn’t demand to see Caylee, and threaten to call the police. Especially, that night, when there was that loud massive fight between Casey and Sindy. They said Casey stormed out of the house, dragging Caylee along. Imagine how terrified that precious baby must of been. In the rage Casey was in, she did the ultimate thing, to hurt them, which was to murder a helpless innocent baby.
That was another lie George then told, afterwards, saying Casey and Caylee came out of the bedroom that next morning, and he had breakfast with them. Just more lies to protect Casey.
What about Caylee?? We, as strangers are the voice for Caylee. They can love Casey, but they know she did it. That’s why they don’t visit her in jail. It’s not because of privacy issues, its because they know the real murderer is sitting in jail.

My take on G supposedly telling that woman that it was an accident is - if G and C really believed that and STILL led LE on wild goose chases all over the country spotting Caylee and/or Z AND still accused a mysterious Z of kidnapping Caylee and accused Kronk and Jesse etc and everything else they did and said, then they’re even MORE big time liars than we thought. I am truly hoping that at least some of their lies will lead them straight to prison - sooner rather than later.

Isn’t it crazy, this new news. If George and Sindy knew all along it was an accident, I wonder what else they know. How could Casey have accidentally killed Caylee?? Seems it was intentional, with all the stuff they found. Syringes, duct tape. They will never admit to anything that Casey has done. They do, and still cover for her. Well what about Caylee? For them, it’s out of site, out of mind. They all make me sick.
They are going to be in for a rude awakening once Casey’s trial is over, and she is convicted. They probably will be arrested for obtruction of justice and for destroying evidence. They all think they are smarter then everyone else, including the FBI.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock, they will be doing time themselves. If they were arrested now, could you imagine them on TV, saying how could anyone arrest them, the grandparents of a murdered grandchild. They would be begging for money, which they do so well.

I don’t think C or G ever really believed it was an accident. They MUST know monster well enough to know when she’s lying BUT they rarely ever really called her on it.
So what MAY have happened is that monster told C and G a lie - that little Caylee was dead but it had been an accident and she panicked etc.
So C and G go into cover up mode (mostly to preserve their precious reputations) and that’s how they started the whole cover up attempt.
I tend to believe that they didn’t know anything until a little while before C made the 911 call. Maybe any other idea is too new to me yet to consider. So right now I think the 911 call was real. But some time after that - maybe minutes, maybe hours - monster told them the lie about an “accident.”
I can’t think why else G would say that to his “girl friend.” He must have been drunk or had just kept it bottled up too long. What an idiot. Talk about the “weak link.” He even LOOKS like one! (neanderthal)

I just saw some photos and learned more and I’m going to wait until this story about G and “River” is somehow confirmed before saying anything more. It could be a hoax.

Some people are speculating (and I hope they are wrong) that this “news?” about G’s affair is what the state had wanted to keep secret. But I don’t know about that. I don’t know whether to believe this story (as told by “skye” thru wftv).

I just saw a photo, of Caylee’s memorial, and it looks like Skye and her sister in the background. That’s the only photo so far, that I saw. None of her and George.
I also wonder if this is the evidence the prosecution has ?

the only thing wrong is the duhfense team would say that what george told this woman was hearsay evidence and try to throw that out to,so i hope the state has something better than that,now what would be good if george had told her details of the so called accident that coud be backup by some defining pieces of evidence they do have to collaborate his story

Maybe its s good thing the trial isn’t until next year. Can you imagine what else is going to be dug up for evidence?? Prosecution wants to have all their ducks in a row. The duhfense is scared. They have been for a while.
It’s sad, between what happened to Sweet Caylee and her gutter family, as well as beautiful Haleigh, and her pillbilly family. Nothing but a bunch of deceit and web of lives from each of these families. And Ronald, he did something to Haleigh. He married Misty because he thought she couldn’t testify against him, but not true when it involves a minor and a crime.

i beleive ron knows alot about what happen to Haleigh,just like the ants,i believe they will never find Haliegh alive i think she died the night she came up missing,so sad the little one’s has to pay the price for being the children of stupid parents
