I am wondering if it is indeed possible for Misty to be guilty, Ron innocent of any wrong doing and still be able to remain in each other’s life, the way they were/are??

I am so sorry about your daughter. That is so sad.

LE was wonderful in the beginning. The detective talked to me, asked me questions, etc. But two days after the incident, he called to tell me her apartment was being released that day and I could go in. From that moment on, his demeanor changed totally. It was like he had multiple personalities.

I took all the info I had to a former BF who was a former cop. He had worked a lot in forensics. I asked him why I would not be allowed to have the police report. He said those are public and anyone can have it, but they don’t make them public in “sensitive” cases. So he went with me to the police dept. and we filled out a request for the report. The woman at the desk was all nice, smiley, polite. She took my application and said, “It will just be a moment.” Then she pulled up the case on the computer, turned and looked at me really oddly, then made a phone call.

She came back and said the report could not be released.

The case was never solved. I found a set of keys on the floor in her apartment. They did not fit any doors or her car. The police did not want the keys; they basically told me to go away.

So, I believe they know who the perp was, and decided to cover. That goes on a lot around here.

LE often does not tell anyone anything, even the family. Sometimes they have to do things with 100% confidentiality. It is too easy for info to leak otherwise, even by a family member who means no harm. Things slip out even unintentionally.

My daughter was harmed by an unknown perp (she to this day does not remember the incident) and LE would tell me nothing. It was 10 years ago and I still cannot get a copy of the police report that is not about 80% blacked out. And it is not even an active case anymore.

She said she arrived at the MH at 3:30 AM. She said Ron called her while Misty was on with 911. But 911 was called at 3:27, so how could TN go from sleeping to being at the MH by 3:30????

But…she was wearing flip-flops.

I think it was a set-up, and whoever he supposed to run into there, didn’t show. Maybe because his son was with him, and they thought he would come alone?

Something is just not right about TN, imo. You would think the grandmother of a missing child would not be up to shenanigans.

I’ll say this: If she is not involved in any of it, other than having left the kids alone or having been so out of it she slept through it all, I would like to see her given a second chance on the drug charges. Maybe reduced charges to eliminate the “mandatory minimum” so a judge could sentence her fairly.

It’s just so hard to believe that she is not involved at least in the cover-up. I mean, if she knew nothing, but since has learned something and is not telling what she has learned, I want her to do some heavy time. This is about an innocent child, and we need to come down hard on those who put kids’ lives in jeopardy.

I can’t even tell you how much it hurts me to type that.

I used to transcribe tapes of legal proceedings, hearings, depositions. And I’ll tell ya…verbatim is what they got from me. I would listen over and over to any portion that was muffled or unclear. I would use [inaudible] if it was in fact inaudible, rather than just type in what “sounded” right.

I prefer video and audio tapes over written documents. For me, it has to come right from the horse’s mouth before I believe it 100 percent.

I was still not giving up on the idea of stranger abduction, that Misty left and someone then took advantage of an opportunity. But after listening to that tape, I am not giving much weight to stranger abduction anymore. I now believe the child was drugged, purposely or accidentally.

Most cases are solved by interviewing people who may have known things, or heard things, or seen things. Even little bits of seemingly insignificant information usually come together to form a whole picture. I bet LE has gotten tidbits here and there, and I can’t help but think the people interviewed by Cobra not so long after Haleigh went missing have said relevant things. Maybe they didn’t now how relevant, until all pieces are put together.

Those tapes are important, imo. How can they not be? They are the words of people involved in the lives of the players here. There has to have been something said at some point, that is useful. IMO.

It is important that they were made in the early days after Haleigh went missing. I believe this woman is telling the truth about alot of this. I could tell she didn’t like Misty.

What T.J. said about, it all was beginning to fit about the van being used and how it got so dirty, really, stood out, to me. I have always believed that the scratched van was important to this case. It was just too much co-incidence.

You have heard Nay Nay’s tapes on Art Harris, a good while back. Then on the radio program, tonight, T.J. played some more tapes. T.J. said it was all kind of coming together for him, now. I just wish I could have understood them better, but they are going to clean them up and play them again. I wonder, though, if Cathartic isn’t right about LE putting a stop to T.J. releasing any more of them. I think he said there were six or seven of them. Do you remember, Cathartic?

I am glad you are back. I missed you. You are one of our best case workers. I do think these tapes are important. Maybe, after the drug arrests, and what Nay Nay said, before, it all is coming together. For T.J. to give an opinion, was definitely different.

I have a sneaking feeling that someone has given LE something. It is just too quiet. LE, suddenly, stopped letting any of Ron’s tapes out, and that seems strange.

It will be interesting to see where that goes. I could not understand most of it, but I understood enough to think those tapes could mean something. I want to see over the next few days or so if he gets word from “anyone” that he should not release those tapes. Remember, he said he had turned them over to LE and they took no interest. They didn’t say yes they might be something or no they are not important. They didn’t respond either way.

So I wonder if they will respond one way or the other now that the tapes may be released.

The tapes T.J. played, today, were new one that haven’t been played before.
