But my concern remains that Israeli is stimulating anti-Semitism and discrediting its own rights to be there. My concern is far from mine alone -- it exists both in Israel and elsewhere in larger numbers than I believe are being reported. Each new abuse makes things worse. Of course I agree about our own abuses — particularly the bombing of Nagaski which was reputably done to speed the Japanese surrender to keep the Soviets from moving in on the other side of Japan.
