Now it has come to my attention the accused rapist Michael Fassbender, brother in-law of Judge Jennifer Fassbender, who happens to be from the same law school as Judge Ellen Clark that put this suspect back on the street for a poultry $20,000 bond. Which happens to be less than 1/10 the normal bail for someone with this charge who has a history of violence against women.
He has at least one other woman out there saying he raped her in a manner nearly identical to the rape of this victim that he is currently charged with choking and raping multiple times. This victim has come forward and told her story but is scarred and refuses to testify in court. So in court the prosecution may not use this prior bad act. That is unless the prosecutor is welling to subpoena the other victim and force her to testify.
I would normally never recommend that an alleged victim be forced to testify. However, this victim came forward told the prosecutors office what happened and now says “Kings Ex” I don’t want to go into court. Under the law the people of the State of Washington are the victims. She has a legal obligation to testify or face a contempt charge. The people of this state have a right to be protected from this alleged predator.
In addition we have the suspects former wife and female child. The U.S. Army sent the wife and daughter home from Germany early after they got tired of dealing with Fassbender, using his wife as a punching bag. Later after she was legally separated from him she reports he tried to rape her.
This is documented in her request for retraining order from Michael Fassbender, in Thurston County in which he was also restrained from having contact with his minor female child after she was allegedly struck by Michael Fassbender leaving deep tissue bruising.
It is alleged he was charged with various incidents involving domestic violence in the service as well as vandalism to another soldiers vehicle that got him tossed out of the Rangers. He was supposedly deemed unfit for re-enlistment according to one source.
He is the brother in-law of a setting municipal court judge who has defended him a number of times in the past in issues with the military a well as in Thurston County. Now he gets charged with a violent rape his sister contacts her friend and mentor Judge Ellen Clark and Michael receives an unbelievable low bond.
The judge gets the chance to correct her error in giving this alleged violent rapist a correct $500,000 bond when he charged with two additional counts of first degree rape and one count of first degree assault. She should have corrected her failed action in not properly protecting the public when the new charges were filed or she should have recused herself? She did neither and arrogantly left his bond at $20,000 which means he got out for $2,000.00
A man with a clear track record of violence toward women is out on the streets of Spokane because two female judges want to play good old boys games. The women of Spokane should be outraged, the news media should be writing stories about this with the same zeal they do when they are going after a local law enforcement officer.
The victim in this case has been let down by these female judges that care nothing about her or what she has went through or is going through now. She has been let down by the courts, let down by the media, and frankly let down by everybody that knows about this case and fails to speak up.
To other victim that is out there refusing to testify I understand your reluctance to come forward but if you don’t this animal is going to go on victimizing women with the help of at least two women in this county, both judges. I hope you will get the courage to come forward and tell the jury what this suspect did to you as well as the victim this time before there is a third and forth. Before he chokes one a few seconds to long and she dies? How will you feel if he get off and you pickup the papers and see he’s killed a victim.
To the victim that has currently laid charges against this suspect that the sheriff’s investigation has demonstrated you’re telling the truth I commend you.
To the judges that have mishandled this case I hope the good people wake up drum you from office.
To Michael Fassbender, I hope if you are convicted that you join Kevin Coe for the rest of your natural life in prison as a predatory cowardly animal like you should be.

The judge should be charged as an accessory. How do these corrupt officials stay in office and how do these idiotic laws ever become law?

This means we have a predatory rapist in Spokane and no women are safe. Remember he bragged to his latest victim that she was his eighth. If this person now says I don’t want to testify.
I’m sorry the greater good of the entry community trumps one person’s embarrassment even her pain about being a victim.

He bragged to his victim he could make her disappear and she would never be found.
Besides Kevin Coe this suspect may be one of the most dangerous men to ever prowl our streets.
If fact someday we might find out he is indeed worse.

You would think two judges that should know what rape does to women would have more decency?
You can say OK his sister in-law has to try to help him in light of their very special relationship. But there is absolutely no excuse Judge Ellen Clark failing to raise his bond to what is appropriate for the charges he’s facing.
She deserved to be disbarred and never again allowed to practice law. Judges of her kind are exactly what led to the 4 Lakewood officers being ambushed. She has failed miserably in protecting the women of this community.

Frankly I would have been far more impressed with an offer to help the victim or fight for what is right. Or an offer to try and get the mainstream media to there job and investigate this matter.

I must say that if you don’t answer the questions of a sceptic then you just sound like a gossip column. Is there any truth to what you write or just conjectoure?
Thank you verycurious. I find it disgusting that someone writes this stuff with nothing to back it up. No sources, no research. It makes responsible journalism look like it conducts itself with the same recklessness that this person, a gossip, does. Why do you think that the public views the media as parasites. There are many responsible journalist out there, you sir, are not one of them. If you want to post on subjects, I encourage you to do so. We need more people to voice themselves. However, if you are going to make such bold statements, do the work to back them up. Or state them for what they are, unresearched, unverified gossip. With the basic rights that we have been afforded, comes a tremendous responsibility. This is the perfect example of why they want to restrict our rights granted by the bill of rights. It is because of irresponsibility like yours. I support your right to free speech and free press. Even if it is propaganda that you spew forth to the virtual world. I will not force you to be responsible with your words, because I believe that to be a violation of your rights. You guys are making accusations against the writer, when you can easily do the same research yourself. The info is out there obvious for your common person. Do a little research on this jerk. First off, several of the question asked are quotes from the Spokesman Review- the newspaper for this area. Otherwise, there are several court cases out there against this guy already by other people with public records that anyone can view. This guy is a bastard. He has a long history of violence that he has gotten away with by having his sister-in-law at his side helping him. The 8th victim and the manner of the other victims is reported by the newspaper. The information about his wife and daughter are public documents which I was able to just pull up by looking up Michael Fassbender’s name in the Washington Court system as the blog writer states that the case was in Thurston County. You can also see in that case that he is represented by Jennifer Fassbender. As for his criminal case, that goes right back to the newspapers that quote his lawyer who is not a public defender but worked/works with Jennifer Fassbender. To me that says free legal through his sister-in-law. You use the excuse of not being in the area to not pull up local, but I do believe you are using the same internet as me which is indiscriminatory of location. If I can find it with my high school education, then I am sure you can too! Or a better question would be are you someone who is trying to defend Michael Fassbender and leave doubt with the readers?
I don’t know about all of the facts in the story, but I served in Germany with Mike Fassbender and I can account for these facts:
1. He could be angered easily.
2. His wife commonly had bruises on her. Some of the bruises were big and in plain sight.
3. He was arrested by the military police for domestic violence and released to our unit. After that he was confined to the barracks.
4. His wife and child were sent back to the United States a short time after he was arrested because of his violence.
According to court records, Michael Fassbender is represented by Christian Phelps. Christian Phelps website states, “Our firm is led by attorney Christian J. Phelps, who has dedicated his entire legal career to defending those charged with criminal offenses in the state and federal courts of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. As the former lead felony lawyer at John Cooney and Associates, P.S., he is an aggressive attorney with the experience needed to handle a diverse range of cases, from petty theft to first degree murder.” Not only is he not a public defender, but John Cooney & Associates is the law firm that Jennifer Fassbender works for. She is doing the leg work for the case and using him as the mouth in court.
It looks like Jennifer Fassbender was on her trying to discredit the research against her brother in-law. As stated by other readers the information I found can be found by others and hopefully will be researched by the detectives on this case. This woman beater and rapist needs to be shut down. His latest victim at least the latest one we know of said he bragged to he he did this seven previous times. He also bragged he could kill her and make her disappear.
Which I would hope the police are looking at unsolved murders in the areas he has been stationed.
I’m glad this information is getting around perhaps one of his other victims will have the courage to come forward and put this suspect where any rapist should be prison for the rest of his life.
Having a sister in-law that is at his side has given him the impression he can victimize anyone and everyone he desires.

Jennifer thank you for sharing the information about Germany I had this information from another source. If you would contact the Spokane County Sheriff’s office major crimes unit handling the Michael Fassbender information it would be a big help.
If any of the other seven victims see this information I’m very sorry what happened to you. You have a chance to stop this person from ever hurting another woman. It will take courage but you have survived him but your healing will never be complete as long as he is out there to attack addition women.
Please come forward for yourself and all of his possible future victims if you don’t come forward.
Well Doyle, looks like you got it wrong. I have never seen someone speculate more than you. I’ve had to stomach your dribble on here and now it’s my turn. Your so called “sources” are nothing more than a pissed off ex-wife that has been found in contempt of court. A woman that every time she turns around is dragging Mr. Fassbender to court reguarding custody/visitation rights. I’ll bet she never mentioned that to you. Now unless you were there for the whole trial and sat through all the testimony you should trust a jurys decision. After all, there were 12 of them. Do you really think that all of them were wrong and that your preconcieved notions are right? Did it ever occur to you the Mr. Fassbenders accuser wasn’t telling the whole truth about that night? Is it beyond reason that she did this out of some self interest that wasn’t the thought of seeking justice? As a former police officer you should be well aware that over 90 percent of alleaged rapes are unfounded. I have seen multiple women use rape as a “trump” card to seek some sort of revenge. I believe that this is a clear case of that. And yes, I was at the trial and sat through all the testimony, saw the evidence that was presented, and unlike you, went into it with an open mind.
Doyle, you have exercised your rights under the 1st amendment, but parasites like you are the reason we have our 2nd amendment rights. Just think about that before you spew your hate next time.
It’s interesting how you were so quick to accuse me of being Jennifer Fassbender. I can say with certainty I am not. I was in the courtroom for much of the testimony (I flew in), were you? I think I saw you during the girls testimony, can’t be certain, but I think it was you. If that’s the case, you know that Jennifer wasn’t there that day. You also heard her testimony, and in doing so, you certainly had doubt about her story. She changed her mind so often, it was impossible to determine what happened. Important major details changed during her testimony, not even including the inconsistencies that she had between police reports, depositions, etc…
So sir, I ask you, where is that report. You tried and convicted Fassbender here on you blog. It is obvious no matter what happened, that the girls testimony can’t be trusted. Where is your “news” on that. Or are you to proud to admit that maybe you were wrong. Have the intestinal fortitude to do the right thing. I hope that you are accused of something that you didn’t do. I hope you see how parasites like you make a horrible situation worse. How about you be an advocate for the truth, instead of just spewing forth garbage to get readers.
