Just have to keep praying for Haleigh.

I think a fairer warning to posters would be to be prepared for the retaliation if they dare say anything remotely positive about R or remotely negative about the bio-mom’s side.
In other words, don’t look at all aspects of this case or the people involved.

Well I’m just glad there is only one faction that made it their business to “stand by and defend” a certain party (meaning the R-haters/C supporters).

Other than that one I don’t see any factions.

I see that some people who trash R don’t think he had anything to do with Haleigh’s disappearance.

I see that some people who want to recognize the truth about C and her family do not necessarily believe she is guilty.

I see some people who would like R treated in a reasonably sane, fair way. But it does NOT mean they believe he’s innocent or believe he’s done no wrong (as a person or a dad).

I see people who would be very sad to hear that ANY parent could harm their child.

I am perplexed by the efforts to reduce this whole case to a simple-minded black vs white, “for or against R” issue. It is much more complex. And so are the minds and views of THINKING people.

I see a lot of open minds who only want to discuss the facts of the case and various theories without getting sucked into the R-hating tornado.

But they are constantly bombarded with name calling - “R lovers” - and worse.
It is a blatant tactic commonly used to browbeat and bully others into submission.

So I reserve my compassion for them - the ones who have tried to look at all aspects of this case, who have no “investment” in who did it, but who just want to know the truth.

If it turns out that someone other than R was responsible, I’m sure the R-haters will be “devastated,” as you said. But not for long. They can fall back on all the “he’s a terrible person/father” accusations and continue to attack him for the rest of their lives. So I don’t worry about them. Their hate will keep them warm. (no compassion needed – IMO – or deserved).

I am sure there is alot of evidence against her but what you are not getting is that she worked for Crystal so if the evidence is against Kim then it will show negatively on Crystal and show what she has done also. I know that Kim was shady I seen the emails and interviews with her Im just saying that she told what she had to just to show that she was “working” for her client.

Yeah, you wouldnt think that Crystal’s side would have that much pull with LE would you but if you go by what Kim Picazio said that is exactly what happened. She also said she was really good friends with Peggy Cone

Everyone who considers posting to the Haleigh articles here. Know up front that any post that defends Haleigh’s mother or her family, in any way shape or form, will be seen as ill-informed, agendized, and/or malicious to Haleigh’s father & his family. If you post be aware that your views, intelligence, & moral decency will be questioned by some. Even if you don’t agree that Crystal and/or her man o the moment be allowed to use drugs, just like Ron & his flavor of the month shouldn’t be able to.

I wish they had searched that property early on. I also wish they had conducted a thorough search of Tommy & Hank & Lisa’s house. I would like to see Marie, Crystal & Chad’s phone records from the time she received the warrant to the time Haleigh was taken….I sure hope LE have looked at those records. I really wish they’d bring fresh detectives into the case. One year is a long time, and this “we expect the 17 year old to solve it for us” business is getting very old to me, and don’t know why others think it’s good enough.

Only story I got of the search is from someone who was there.

The first search, on 30 acres belonging to Marie Griffis, turned up animal remains, as expected, but nothing else.

Investigators told First Coast News they wanted to make sure they were following through on every possibility, so divers, diggers and searchers went through the property after learning several animals were buried there.

After completing the search on Griffis’ land, the searchers moved over to another relative’s property, a 25-acre tract.

About 40 investigators, including the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office dive team and cadaver dogs, came to Baker County early this morning and searched through a pond and under several trailers.

Does anyone know who the Griffis relative is that owned the 25 acre property that they also searched? I wonder if it’s one of the RSOs?

I think there are many possible explanations as to what may have happened to Haleigh, given the limited info we have.

If it was an intruder, whether known to the family or otherwise, it makes sense to use the brick…keeps down the noise of opening and closing the door repeatedly, and allows for quick escape.

Re the kitchen lights, imo, that is consistent with an intruder entering. They would want some light, but not want to turn on the bedroom lights. If the kitchen light awoke Misty, they had a quick exit out the back door, which remained open.

Re the clothes, I don’t assume the perp took them off her. Haleigh was old enough to be able to dress and undress herself and may have taken that shirt off without help. Or perhaps the intruder took it off and left it, as he didn’t want her in clothing she would be quickly and easily recognizable in.

Misty could very well be hiding additional information about that night that might lead us to HaLeigh. I have pondered LE’s motives and there intent to keep Misty as their primary focus and not able to solve this case.

Misty could of been asleep as she stated and has no knowledge of who came into the home and will be of no help in finding HaLeigh. 1 year later hhmmmmmmmmm.

IMO the police report has been the most informative and possible the only truth we have been witness to. The contridictions that are apparent in the “crime scene” point to a change of plans not a plotted cover up IMO. The bricking of the screen door and the use of the kitchen light, it would seem logical to brick the door for a speedy and quiet exit, but, for some reason NS turns on the kitchen light and remove HaLeighs clothes before leaving. The fact that there was no light at the back of the trailer and the use of the bricks and the path the NS took with HaLeigh suggests the NS had a light source why the use of the kitchen light? See what I mean? The evidence does tell us somethings that can not be lied about.

Predators treat these kids like prey (hence the name), watch them and wait for their opportunities….and they can be very daring and take huge chances. I still think there is a chance it was someone like that who took Haleigh.

I am GUESSING that they mean someone known to someone in one of the relevant families. We had one here a few days ago where a neighbor from a couple of streets away, who was “friends” with the family, was considered the suspect….I think that would qualify as a non-stranger abduction. Perhaps it would include other parents who dropped their kid at the bus stop, visitors to the home and a wide range of people? And your thoughts?
