I am not sure it’s good for Misty’s mental health at this point to have Lisa visiting. Lisa seems to get facts messed up, or forgets important facts, and gets Misty all excited about something happening that is not really going to happen.
I think Fields is the one to finally tell Misty what LP wants.
Will be interesting to see future tapes; visits taped after these could show Misty with a different attitude than we’ve been seeing..

Watched JVM tonight. Just wanted to stop by for a minute. Been trying to catch up a bit. Nearly impossible.
I’m so mad at myself. The last videos I watched had me feeling sorry for all of them. Misty, Tommy, most of all Lindsay. My heart still aches for Lindsay. This is taking it’s toll on her.
After watching Misty & Hank Sr tonight, I feel sick to my stomach. I was starting to think maybe Misty really didn’t know anything to tell. Well there were sure some red flags raised for me tonight. I can’t believe how self centered that little brat is. LE is right. That’s why they’ve been saying “Misty is the key”. She knows exactly what happened to Haleigh.
Of course she was keeping her mouth shut. Ron was telling anyone who’d listen that he was going to kill whoever took his child.
I wonder what Tommy was worried about when he said he hoped she didn’t start telling things on other people. To me it appears they are both starting sweat it. Everyone needs to sit back now and give LE a chance do their job. It took this long to be able to get them in a position like this. LP may mean well, but these people are just where they need to be right now. They also need a wake up call that they aren’t getting out of jail, so start getting used to it. Part of me say’s go ahead and put them in gen pop. Then we may never find out where Haleigh is though.
I can’t believe how emotional this has made me when I don’t even know these people.

A few things come to mind:
Misty seems like she might be jonesing a bit.
Misty is not as dumb as some think (she knows she has the upper hand because of “what she knows”)
Won’t talk to LP on his terms, must be her terms….after she is out.
LP must sign an agreement not to revoke her bond
LP must agree she stays with her paren(evidently she forgets they have a one room efficiency apt.)

I’m not sure but as hinky as this is getting with Misty wanting to fire her attorney and have “LP get her a lawyer out of one a dem dar lawyer schools he has out dare”(per mama L)then not wanting to fire her attorney (per her attorney) I hope a judge takes notice. I suppose whatever happens before this gets before a judge doesn’t matter, but after the judge has the case he/she needs to ensure effectiveness of counsel.mho

8 Undercover Videos Recorded Inside Car Over Several Days

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Investigators released undercover video Thursday that they said shows multiple drug deals involving Ronald and Misty Cummings and an undercover officer.
The father and former step-mother of missing 6-year-old Haleigh Cummings were arrested last month on drug trafficking charges. Misty was the last person to see Haleigh before she disappeared more than a year ago.
“You just leave the pills right there and I’ll pick them up when I walk into the bathroom,” Misty tells Ronald in the video. “You go in there and it looks like I’m waiting on you to use the bathroom.”
Video: Undercover Video Shows Drug Deals
Ronald and Misty Cummings appear in undercover videos that investigators say show multiple drug deals.
Investigators said the the undercover drug deals were recorded inside a car over several days.
At one point, Ronald is heard worrying, saying if anyone catches him, they’ll get suspicious because he’s Haleigh Cummings’ father.
“Because of my daughter, you know, anyone who’s ever seen anything about it knows,” he said. “Please don’t ever tell no one that I did this (expletive). People would go to assuming that I was doped by or pissed someone off. Dope boys don’t come and get your kids like that.”
Of the eight undercover drug deal videos recorded, Ronald is only in a few of them, while Misty is in every one.
In one video, Misty said some Percocet pills came from a dentist.
“He gave me free dentist work and gave it to me in her name, and I didn’t have to pay nothing,” she said.
In another video, Misty said money was difficult to come by because she couldn’t find work.
“(Ronald) knows better. He has a job. I can’t get that,” Misty said. “People won’t hire me. They won’t hire Misty Croslin.”
In a Jan. 20 video, during another undercover drug deal, investigators arrived to arrest Ronald and Misty, among others.

Audio on the UC tape is not very good but I could understand what Ron said very well. Not everything Misty said, though. My furnace was running, then when it quit a train went by a few blocks away, so I had to play it 3 times just hear it.

OK, I thought Misty arrived at the store with Katrina then got in the car with the UC (while Katrina waited in her car), Ron was in the store and when he came out the UC (or someone) called him over, and very soon after the arrest went down. Misty claims Katrina just took off with her stuff in her car.
I am thinking the reason Katrina won’t return Misty’s stuff is she doesn’t want to admit having been there, or possibly having driven Misty there.

Hank is laid off from his previous employer, but did operate his own drywalling business. For all we know, the Croslins lived lower middle to middle class, prior to his work injury.
LP did a kind thing, even if he gets nothing in return, by providing the Croslins with a car for Hank to seek employment.
People are losing their cars, their homes, because unemployment is so high.
Competition is tough, so trying to find work in an area where the name ‘Croslin’ doesn’t raise a red-flag, is a good idea. He needs a car to do that.

If R and M had not gone back to life as usual so quickly after Haleigh disappeared, I might find some sympathy for them now. But it bothered me to no end to see Misty’s smiling mug, her bopping around showing off her engagement ring, and then the wedding, etc. And all the trips to amusement parks and NYC to go on talk shows…it just seemed they had forgotten little Haleigh. I just can’t see them as victims because Haleigh is the victim in this whole scenario. I think they should have put a lot more effort into searching for her; they seemed to search for about 20 minutes and quit. I said it before, and I’ll say it again: I think if Ronald had lost his chain he would have spent more time looking for it than he did his missing daughter.
The whole group just gets to me; I feel like I need to take a shower after having viewed any one of them on TV.

Birds of a feather do fly together….she is into this up to her elbows….It does appear what she won’t do is forsake her children for Tommy (she let the police in to search) but has poor judgement staying in the situation and bringing those kids to the jail. I have a niece just like her.

Before Croslin went to her arraignment, the bail that stood between her and freedom was about $1.3 million. In Sacramento, Calif., Thursday, bounty hunter Leonard Padilla said he was willing to pay a bond he estimated at $135,000 to get her out.
The deal has a caveat.
“It’s got to bear fruit,’ he said. “It’s got to lead me to Haleigh.”
Padilla is best known in Florida for bailing out Casey Anthony in 2008. Anthony was charged with killing her young daughter in Central Florida.
Croslin’s attorney, Robert Fields, has written Padilla a letter to back off.
Fields said Padilla wants to question Croslin, then decide if he will arrange a bond.
“If he likes the answers, he will bail her out,” he said. “It’s a license to interrogate.”
In conversations with her parents, Croslin has asked that they maintain contact with Padilla, who came to southern Putnam County when Haleigh disappeared.
Fields said Croslin has changed her mind.
“Hearing his [Padilla’s] conditions she doesn’t want to do it,” he said.

Padilla said he also has been helping Croslin’s parents and bought a 2001 Ford Taurus for her father, who is not working and says notoriety from Haleigh’s case has kept him from getting a job. Padilla said he also gave Hank Croslin money to meet expenses.

IMO, anyone who deals drugs should stay in jail a long time. They have harmed the lives of others. Unfortunately it appears that drugs are the rule rather than the exception these days and it’s a rapidly growing problem.

I think if does know something versus she thinks she may know something she needs to discuss that with her lawyer then the LE and then the Crown. LP is highly manipulative, how do these people get played by people like that? He is so transparent I didn’t think it was humanly possible to miss it. I don’t think she knows anything for a fact I think it is merely what she thinks she knows or over heard and it might be very accurate and helpful but she needs to stick this out and do this the right way, LP is not the way. That guy is a complete douche through and through. IMHO it is one of two things she wants out first because she has something on Tommy and Tommy is concerned because he knows she knows. It could be information regarding Ronald and anything personal he has shared, theories etc or actual events that have made her suspicious. Either way she needs to do this the right way. These people need to understand it is the one that is as your friend that is most likely the one to hang them. When conflicts/issues are are on going like this the one most likely to set you up is not the one lurking in the bushes trying to snoop it’s the one that comes over for coffee that you invite in, IMHO she/parents need to stop being so naive.

I don’t know what to think…if she stole a purse at Christmas why wait this long to arrest her? She was arrested on a warrant….confusing….does LE just save the warrants until they are most useful to them? I have a feeling this is something more recent…she did tell Misty on the Feb 10 video that she and Lindsay went to Walmart. Did they catch her on tape stealing someone’s purse from their cart? That has happened to me…LOL not getting caught stealing, but I turned my head for a second and swoop my purse was gone.

I am not sure Lisa was arrested for something that happened back in December. Hank said that, and it was reported in one of the newspapers. But the newspaper could have gotten the info from Hank. Who knows anymore.
It was a warrant for Larceny Theft. And LP bailed her out within an hour, it seems.
I can’t say why they did the arrest when they did. Seems timed that way for a reason.
I have to say, I have a lot of respect for how LE is handling this. Everyone thinks they have not done anything and now that they are, they are not doing it right. But I think there is a method to their madness, and we will find out in due time that their strategy is a clever one indeed.

I guess if LP had gotten the letter from M and her lawyer sooner he would not have bailed out Lisa!? I wonder how Lisa feels about that? I do agree with BAC that Misty was directing the uc ;not Ron. They were just snippets and Misty did not have her purse when they were taken down. In one of Mistys and Hank sr. conversations She said that She and Ron had rode up to Spinners with Katrina. Ron did not have his truck at this drug deal. Rons truck would be noticed very easily.
I wonder if LE went to Katrinas to retrieve Mistys purse.They could get some info possibly off her phone and camera. Misty said that all of her pics were on that camera.

I agree. The problem is that I think T faces a lot of time in jail. This isn’t his first offence, right? (not sure) Has the charge of the gun stolen from the blind neighbor ever gone to court? And the charges of B&E are still there. I don’t think that has gone to trial or whatever either. And now drug charges. So he’s in a heap of trouble.

I watched that video, CathyJo. I thought it said Ron was trying to get a fund started so he could hire a P.I.
Makes me a little nervous when people want money from others. I am not against anyone asking for funds for a specific cause, but I never contribute before I consider what they want the money for, and then whether they are likely to use it for that purpose. I know money was coming in at the beginning to aid in the Haleigh search, and I am not sure even today how any of that money was spent.
The P.I. funds plea was 4-5 months ago and prior to Ron’s arrest on multiple counts of drug trafficking. So, in hindsight, one can easily question Ron’s motives for requesting funds from the public.
This is all IMO. I’m not sayin’…I’m just sayin’.
