Here in the deep south February means Mardis Gras. The event kicked off today, and even though we live some 60 miles from New Orleans (N’Awlins to the locals) our local schools are closed, even some businesses are closed to celebrate ‘Fat Tuesday’. My step son Joey even went so far as to get up at some ugly time in the middle of the night to drive down to N’Awlins to get a prime spot to watch the parades!
Pretty much February seems to have as much impact in Satsuma, Florida as it it does in Nawlans. There are no big parades, but the Tax Refunds come in. Several of us have been listening intently to the DVD’s that were released last week of the Jail house visits that occurred on Feb 2 and Feb 4. Both BNN and WSKY 97.3 are working overtime to bring these videos to the internet. And we have managed to get some segments out in the past 24 hours.
The one thing that comes across in spades, is that Tommy Croslin must be expecting a huge tax refund check. He is adamant that his wife not spend it, only use it to bail him out. This is a tricky problem, Tommy is on a ‘no bond’ hold, so it does not matter how much money his refund check is, he still is not getting out any time soon.
Hank Croslin also wishes to participate in the sudden wealth of his son. Hank feels it would be appropriate that Tommy gives him the refund check so that he can buy a car and be a more frequent visitor!
Lindsay Croslin is about the only sensible one in the crowd, she points out that while Tommy is under lock and key she still has to keep their family with food on the table and a roof over their head.
I was in shock as I watched these videos. They smack of a real life family version of Deliverance!
Many real life stories have been turned into movies, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the Disney corporation will not be bidding on the rights to this one!
There are few mentions made about Haleigh Cummings, but many about the creature comforts that they miss while on this extended state paid vacation.
All we hear is ME ME ME! None of the miscreants can be bothered with the fact that a little girl is missing!
Both TJ Hart and I are now working on the second DVD. We are working hard to bring the information to you.

Oh please way to twist things. That is not a correct version of what was said. That is not what Hank Sr said at all. That type of reporting is no different than what NG does. Plus what anyone does with their money is their business. Right hand left hand, always give anonymously. Means giving is not for public approval or scrutiny, it’s no ones business. I agree with you, CathyJo. That money LP gave for the car could have been put to better use. Even poor Ron Jr. needs things, I’m sure. What trauma that little boy has been put through! I think you have to read in between the lines. I think Tommy was saying, don’t buy expensive beds just yet. I do not believe he was referring to food.

Eventually the tax monies will run out and life won’t be so easy. No money for commessary, bond/bail fines NOTHING! I like the way the cops think! She wants to laugh and poke fun at the police and make idol threats? guess what little girl…the police can hold out to. It’s not your right to be put in general pop, They can leave you right where you are. As long as they bring you three meals a day and let you shower once a week…thats all your owed! I find it distressing that people are giving this odd family cars and free legal advice. I wonder if my husband and I, regular middle-class hard working man and wife, could fare better in the social-economic class that this family obviously belongs to. My husband and I struggle to make car payments, rent payments, insurance payments, and buy our groceries on a shoe-string budget. Yet this entire family seems to be getting the advantages that most of us only dream about… I would LOVE IT if someone gave us a car or had a fund-raiser for us!

I think Haleigh is so beautiful and funny. Please keep her in your thoughts/prayers and keep reading/hearing all you can about this case. Keep making noise about it until she’s found. Just try to make the noise less petty, if possible. I really don’t see how it matters what they’re eating in jail, don’t see how it matters that Padilla provided a car for Hank Croslin Sr. Isn’t that LP’s business?
I hate seeing the Croslins/Cummings bashed for their lack of beauty, their lack of money, their lack of education, and so forth. The only thing that should matter is Misty’s apparent lack of diligence when Haleigh was under her care that night.
We know nothing more than that!! What if this turns out to be a stranger abduction after all? If that’s the case, then what? Sorry, Haleigh’s family, that we called you names, accused you of all sorts of terrible scenarios, damned you to hell, et cetera. I don’t care how negligent a parent or caregiver is — it’s never okay for a stranger to go into someone’s home at night and take a child away, never to be seen or heard from again.
I would think that Christians would want these folks to find God. I would think you would be praying for all involved parties, rather than JUDGING who was actually a Christian or not. I would think that would be for God to determine.

Hank SR does not say anything about a car in the context in which the above portrays it. What Hank Sr actually said to misty was that he didn’t have work and it is hard with out wheels. He hopes to get some to get work and that would also enable him to visit more often because he was unable to make as much as he wished because of not having wheels. Misty is his daughter and he has every right to visit her that is not “me me me” that is just being human it is in every one who has a child. I really don’t like things being twisted like that because here David Milgard went to prison for over 20 yrs on murder of a nurse in part because of twisted stories. David Milgard who was with a few friends at a Motel was jumping on the bed and a friend said jokingly “I bet you killed that nurse” He replied, Oh sure did you bet, in a joking sarcastic manner. That testimony was later changed to Mr.Milgard told his friend he killed the nurse and bragged of it. David Milgard was freed by DNA that later proved him innocent. Police were so focused on him that they did not look at the convicted rapist who was living in the basement of the home where the blood trail lead to. The nurse was killed near by the home where Milgard was visiting and the real killer lived in the basement. Even years after they refused to look at him tried with everything they had to block the DNA testing and while it was being done they claimed it would finally prove Milgard was guilty!!!They were speechless when it came in, he was 16 when they put it on him robbed him of his life because they couldn’t solve it. What is to be said to that? I’m sorry. A human life stolen because of some strong heads that refused to open their minds, that to me is a form of murder, a slow cruel one actually. The truth is what will find Haleigh and the truth does not always say what we want it to say. The truth is Hank Sr did not say as portrayed above, that may make some mad but the agenda is to seek the truth that leads to Haleigh not seek to twist things that fill an agenda that is “Hate and bash Misty”

If Haleigh is in a situation like what Jaycee Dugard went through, she could eventually read all this. Every word. I doubt she’d find it very encouraging or helpful.

If Haleigh were my daughter, she wouldn’t have been in Misty’s care, nor would her father have had custody. If Haleigh were my daughter, she wouldn’t have a younger half-sibling who was born addicted to drugs.
If Haleigh were my daughter and I had left her in the care of a seventeen year old babysitter (and not a seventeen year old who had just come off a three-day bender and who was also my underage lover,) then I would stick by the babysitter because she would have been chosen very carefully — would be someone I trusted implicitly before I ever left dear Haleigh alone with her.
I don’t think that what I am engaging in here is forgiveness. I can’t forgive Misty for something I do not know she did.

I am sorry for the tone of my earlier posts. I shouldn’t post when I’m like this but I’m usually too shy otherwise.
Why haven’t they been looking for her all along? Would you have ever ever stopped looking for her? Of all the things the families involved have done or are accused of doing, this bothers me the most. I haven’t been to Florida, so I can’t be certain. It really seems, though, that they haven’t even been looking. If I were Ron I’d be asking everyone I encountered, every day, knocking on doors, looking under logs, hell — I might have even dissected a few ‘gators initially.
I am sorry to everyone I’ve upset here on BNN this evening.
Just so sad and fed up with all this and I guess I’m having a boilover. I love all you people because you all love Haleigh.

I haven’t been able to watch the videos because my pc has been acting up so bad. Not supposed to download anything at work, but boy have I been tempted. Maybe I can figure out a way soon. I have enjoyed reading all your posts though. Gives me an idea of what’s being said at least.

I feel so bad for Lindsey. I’m sorry, but I believe I would cash that income tax check and take care of the needs of my kids. I understand Tommy is young and scared, but he needs to man up. Lindsey is so loyal, but I think this will end up making her sick. It’s taking a toll on her badly. If anyone’s going to be giving hand outs, why not give to this Mother? She’s the one that could use a little help. I get the standing by your man deal, but I think this is one situation that might just warrant her getting out of this mess while she can. You know the saying, you don’t just marry the man, you marry his entire family. I don’t see things getting better for her anytime soon unless she takes it upon herself and get’s the heck out of dodge!

Thank you for the reassurance. I tend to be very avoidant — it’s unlike me to get into a confrontation, online or otherwise. I didn’t feel I was out of line, but I definitely can see how I could have expressed myself without getting so emotional. If I hadn’t been that emotional at that moment, though, I would not have posted at all, likely.
I didn’t want to upset anyone. The world is upsetting enough. I really am sorry for that. It seems, however, that not everyone is ready to accept my apology. And there is absolutely nothing I can do about that.

I have tried to follow this very sad and horrible tradgedy. I posted only once before about my theory (I thought Misty killed her by phycical abuse in the beginning) but after reading all I could and watching jail house videos, I have a completely new theory (or two). It may not be exact but I feel it’s close….
Something happened at home. Haleigh did accidentally ingest some drugs but they were Ron’s drugs not Misty’s. He was a dealer along with Misty (I am still unsure about Donna Brock and how she fits in and I don’t think Crystal had anything to do with it at this point). Misty calls Tommy who comes over with cousin Joe and she also calls Ron… They are not fighting, they are freaking out about Haleigh and the house is full of drugs. Ron comes home off the clock …..and then they decide to have Tommy get the truck and they decide (because of the drugs in the house?)to give a precious little baby girl to cousin Joe who gets to take her somewhere?….and then Joe goes away fast and doesn’t look back.
It’s either that or my second theory… Ron did owe drug money (through cousin Joe?) and Haleigh didn’t ingest drugs, she was used as a money debt and cousin Joe still was the one who drove her to somewhere?….. It just feels so close! I feel other’s in the Croslin family know all about this also. They all seemed to have their fair share of pills.
It’s all so very, very sad.

I think Ron made a stupid decision in having Misty care for his kids. He knew about her drug use in general, but particularly that day she was a poor choice of babysitter because he knew she was just coming off a weekend binge. And even after losing his child he continued making stupid decisions.
I know some believe they were all set up by police but I don’t see it that way. I do not see them as victims in the drug sting; they sold drugs to a UC officer and no one twisted their arms to get them to do it. They did it willingly and freely.
Honestly, folks, I am getting tired of hearing NG and the like talk about how Ron as one who cares about finding Haleigh. I am beginning to think that if Ronald had lost his chain he would have spent more time searching for it than he did for his lost daughter.
It’s bad enough his lifestyle resulted in tragedy, but for him to go on TV and cry a few times, then just go about life as usual makes me sick. If he was a real victim–if he was hurting so bad about Haleigh, why didn’t he make an effort to change after he lost her? He had another child in his home; why would he risk something happening to that child?
I don’t see Ron as a victim at all. I see him as a victimizer and a manipulator. I pray when the truth comes out it shows he did not hurt Haleigh–not for his sake but for hers.
I was just wondering, if I kill somebody or someone in my family is missing, can LP buy me a new car? I really need a new one.
I figured it out! Hard to be a drug dealer with no ride! Hard to walk to Miami to pick up drugs on foot. LP just supplied Hank with a way to “work”!
