This is hot off the press. We have not had a chance to analyze it yet. This is a phone conversation starring Tommy Croslin. Tommy is obviously upset, he is also claiming that for some cigarettes he will sing to the cops!
Maybe the most revealing aspect of this conversation is the use of the ‘F” word. Please don’t listen to the clip if you have an aversion to swearing.
Tommy also seems to share some Jail House angst. Ronald Cummings was concerned about his Boxer shorts, Tommy on the other hand seems to feel that socks are the major deal.
It is clear that all of the folks behind bars need a care package. Ronald Cummings needs new Boxer shorts, Tommy Croslin needs socks, and poor Misty Croslin is wasting away because of the jail diet! It does not matter that none of her family have money to bail her out. If nothing else she expects them to ‘overnight. $100 for her to spend in the commissary.
I have spent a good deal of time listening to these people talk, I have yet to hear one of them actually mention Haleigh Cummings.
The nearest I found was brother Tommy with “She didn’t” do it”
In just a few days we are looking at the one year anniversary of Haleigh Cummings disappearance. The jail house tapes clearly show that no one cares! Everyone is too busy covering their own butts to even talk about the little girl
The Sheflield family does at least have something planned for tomorrow:

I also notice Tommy repeatedly says it sucks, it sucks, it sucks. Misty uses it sucks also. Then they are all big on the F word.
Tommy had a taste of jail before. This is not his first rodeo.
He should have thought about his doping, drug dealing ways when he was found passed out at the bus stop a few weeks or has it been months ago.
Tommy should have thought of his wife and children before he ended up in jail. Did he think he could lead a life of doping and drugs forever? Did he think he’d never get caught? Did he think there would be no consequences? Tommy needs to quit the whining and pity party.
I noticed he and Misty said when they get out they are not messing with drugs (not verbatim).
I bet if they got out tonight they’d be trying to find drugs!
The only one that seems to be happy is Ron. He sounds real upbeat when he talks to Ms. Sykes. He’s already dealing with the other inmates. Trading candy to use a pencil sharpener (I think that is what he says)! LOL Ron is going to do real well in jail or if he goes to prison.
I sure hope Granny brings him so more shorts though. It seems to be a major issue with Ron. I am disappointed that he did not tell his Granny to please tell Jr. I love him and give him a big hug and kiss for me!

What a shame they didn’t test Ron (after 15 arrest), if they had maybe HaLeigh wouldn’t have been “stolen” by a figment of their imagination.
How do we know that when Misty says “We’re all going to prison, if I don’t give them something”((paraphrasing)) that LE has not put that into her head?

Oh but they did test Ron Cummings. Like Art Harris said he was less on drugs than she was.
Meaning he had a prescription for Hydrocodone-notice that is the only one he seems to be able to purchase for sale? While Crystal came up dirty with illegal and legal drugs but no doctor script for those drugs. Seems she did not want to lie and trick DFS OR she could not stay off the illegal drugs. But since she has the temporary custody I think even if she ends up loosing custody it will just be given to her mother. IMO

The unverified info. about Crystal came from several posts on Twitter the evening of Feb. 4th.
It read that there was a court hearing that morning for Crystal’s drug dependency court hearing. It said she failed the drug test the court gave her when she filed for the emergency custody hearing week before last.
There was more, but pointless to post. IF this is true, eventually it will come out and won’t be a surprise to many.

Sounds like they are still trying to play by the Anthony’s play book. What in the world could they do to “aid” other families, when they can’t even look after themselves and their own kids, use drugs etc.
The Sheffields/Griffis win first prize for fastest ever foundation ever set up for a missing child.
Who gives a rip? At least they are FREE to hold a vigil and bring more awareness to Haleigh’s case which is a HELLUVA lot more than Ronald, Sneaky Neves & GGM Sykes can say. Sneaky was trying her damndest to bunk in on Crystal’s vigil like the sneaky mooch she is. No one on either side of Haleigh’s families is ideal, but at least Crystal is free to make her choices, good or bad and until she gets thrown in the slammer, that’s all that matters.
I can only hope Crystal is actually using this second chance for a postive experience. If she fails, then that’s on her, not you, not Sneaky or anyone else. The trump card in this entire case is, Crystal didn’t lose a kid on her watch, Ron and Misty did and after that, instead of looking after the last one he had, he was busying himself with doping up and selling dope to undercover cops. BRILLIANT move. Ronald doesn’t mind being in jail, why should anyone mind for him? If it talks like a thug, walks like a thug, bank the farm….he’s a THUG!
atta, Regardless what anyone thinks of Ron every “adult” should put themselves on the back burner and do what is best for these two children!!!! Jr should be allowed to spend time with Ron’s Mom and GGm Sykes for JUNIOR’s best interest. He should NOT have anyone else that he loves taken away from him. Why make him suffer more loss when Crystal has the power to prevent it.

Sorry Treece, I disagree strongly. I have never claimed Crystal is some kind of Saint, but I would do the exact same thing she has done. IF and that’s a big IF, Crystal is staying clean and doing right by her two children, then she has every right to decide what is in Jr’s best interest. I understand these two grandmothers’ were in Jr’s life, but these same two grandmothers enabled Ronald more than I’ve ever seen in my life. Never ONCE has GGM or TN made that boy stand up straight and act like a man. In fact, it is one of the worst upbringings of a male child that I have witnessed. That is my own opinion.
We also have to know what Jr’s frame of mind is, does he even want to be around these two women? Jr is receiving counseling, do you not think the counselor is in on this? I’m sure there are many more reasons than meet the eye as to why Crystal distances herself from those two women. Obviously, Crystal got Jr for a reason and I firmly believe Jr is in a better place than he has been in a very long, long time. Not perfect by any means, but not quite what many bloggers make it out to be either.
One of the main reasons I checked into rehab years ago is because my grandsons mother was losing him because of her drug use. MY son cecked himself into rehab to get well so he could gain custody himself. HE has been clean for four years and has custody of both of his little boys. I felt so guilty that I myself was a mess so I couldn’t take them temorarily while my son got clean that I decided when he came home, I would check in. I too have been clean since. I guess the point I’m trying to make is this…maybe the reason TN didn’t try for custody is that she may have been unable to maintain sobriety and they wouldn’t consider her. I mean nothing bad nor am I accusing her of anything, it’s just something that I thought might be the reason she didn’t try for custody. It is my opinion that if she had, given crystals issues, they would have considered it like they were going to with me but I fessed up to my issues(which they respected) and allowed them all to live with me after all was said and done until my son was on his feet. jmo
Misty is delusional she still does not get how much trouble she is in. I still do not think she realizes how much her bail is. in one tape she sounds supicious of her brother Timmy when she says what took you so long to anserw the phone? Tommy does not give a damn about Misty. She will be in jail for a long time. but she still does not get it.
Did marie invite grandma Teresa Neves and Great grandma Sykes to attend? Could someone with a twitter ask marie about that? Are they invited and Will they attend?
atta, you missed my point. I am not debating what’s best for Crystal or the grandma’s. I am saying what is best for Junior. IF Crystal has Jr in counseling I am sure the counselor will tell her she needs to let him see them. Any good counselor will tell her that Jr is at a very hard age to have such a loss. Yet he is too young to really understand it. I think you are delusional if you don’t think Jr would want to see those 2 grandma’s who have been with him his entire life. We will just have to agree to disagree on this one.

Grandma Sykes, Ron’s grandmother, who Jr has been living with was there, but the courts chose to give Crystal a chance with her son. I guess time will tell if she will be able to maintain that. You are a great example of someone who has changed!!! thank you for sharing!!!!!

As for Crystal gaining custody of Jr….that’s up for debate also. I suppose at this moment, she looks a tad bit better than Ron…but she’s been into drugs too and her mother Marie is no shining glory either.

I do not think that Teresa Neves or Annette Sykes, Ron’s mother and grandmother have any

Sykes has a record in Putnam County, check online under Dorothy Annette Sykes.
Neves has married and divorced numerous times, so you’ll need to make multiple searches, just use the surname of each man she divorced.
Crystal can decide whether it is in Butterbean’s best interest to see Sykes and Neves.

i wish you would take your own advice! i know you feel a stong affinity for and a devotion to teresa, BUT, the custody issue is about junior! this is not about what is best for teresa. and the custody issue is not about your opinion of what crystal should do as a mother!

I think you could have said the same - even more vehemently - to the many who are rejoicing in R’s situation, blaming his mother and Gma for it and blinded to any past or future flaws of bio-mom (who may well be just a puppet in her own mother’s hands)

So even the GGrandmother has a record (if true). I listened to her taped visit with Ron and how found her telling him to be careful about talking to people….telling him what the ropes were…..that I found rather strange coming from his GG…but if she has a record too, then she knows the ropes fully.
Now Misty’s father will be in court sometime this month for his RX purchasing from numerous doctors…..may do some real time too.
I step back now and look at the overall picture of these families…and shutter.
Misty’s entire family have records, Ron’s GG too (if true) so now we are into another generation - Haleigh & Jr.- Bio mom and Ron with records - Marie & Hubby also.
All the children of these so called parents -
Hank Jr’s kids - Timmy (bro) kids etc. will most likely become the same as the parents.

personally i hope with more time, the families can work everything out and for junior’s sake, that he be able to spend time with all of his family. (it has only been two weeks!!!!(see i can use 4 exclamations too.))
if crystal believes junior’s grandparents or anyone else will encourage him in anyway to pick sides or want to be with them instead of her, or demean the mother in any way to the child, it is crystal’s duty to stop it or prevent it, including not allowing visits if that is what it takes. crystal has said in the past that she felt intimidated to see and call the children at times. hmmmm. i think only crystal sheffield, ronald, teresa, annette and crystal cummings know the whole truth. we do not!
yes, i will say it to everyone here on the blog and everyone everywhere, back off for junior’s sake. they both have their own sides, i hope they can work it out! talking about custody is not the same as talking about a missing child case.
as far as people being unaware of crystal’s faults, they would have to be blind. it is mentioned all the time. and her faults may very well be the cause of her losing custody.
but, until then(if and when) she has a right to do what SHE believes is best.
i also believe that ron and teresa had no problem in letting the children and misty think she was their new mom. personally i believe they were taking advantage of misty. and it was wrong to encourage the children to think she was their “new mom”. all within a few months! so on several counts i see they have not always used the best judgement for the children. more like for themselves.
i don’t know crystal, but, if she gets custody of junior, and teresa was fair to her and did not interfere with crystal seeing her children or demean her to the kids, then why would crystal not want teresa in junior’s life. that would be dumb.

Everyone has their own opionion on this case and just like everyone I have followed this case from day one. I dont post as much cause when you do ugly starts up when people have different opinions on things.
I hope that it isnt true that Crystal failed a drug test. Through everything that has been going on I think it is people trying to take the hit off of Ron, Misty and the rest of the clowns.
I just pray that Crystal doesnt screws it up that now she gets a second chance. I believe if you make a change in your life you do deserve a second chance. God gives chances to everyone so the heck cant anyone else. She did wrong, she admitted it. Never saw or read where these clowns admitted crap they just got busted now sitting in jail whinning like a little pig.
I believe the vigil invites everyone out to pray for Haliegh. Its states everyone so its up to the cummings family if they show up or not. And if they dont I am sure everyone want bash them like they have with Crystal.

“1 year later: Cops aim to find Haleigh”
LE driving themselves to the point of exhaustion, doctors telling them to rest. LE putting in 10,000 hours—WOW, this bunch can break LE, and get through 10,000 LE hours without being arrested for Haliegh. What does this mean? Perhaps LE should look in another direction.
“It will break” LE said of the case (I am taking this to mean NO breaks to date), “we will solve it eventually” eventually meaning anytime in our, or our decendents lifetimes.
Even LE PR does not sound hopeful or promising in solving this case. An end is nowhere in sight.

There is a Tallent in jail in PCSO but he’s been there a while and is from around Orlando. I found another Tallent in Putnam county but it’s female. I am still digging around

What’s most fun (not that any of this is fun) is watching Misty try to figure out 10 percent of 1 million. She thinks she only needs 10 thousand dollars to get out of jail. Nice how she’s asking just anybody for their rent money, tax return, welfare check, strangers, whatever to get that 10 thousand. Even worse, I didn’t hear anybody correct her that she needs ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS. Did anybody she knows make it beyond 1st grade? Just how many of these idiots are involved in Haleighs disappearance? If they all know the truth, than one of them has to spill the beans. Any lies Misty tries to tell will be verified before they let her walk. It’s dragging on way too long.
I know Lisa is hard to hear on that tape but she is the one that originally said it was 10K.
Lindsy said Hank couldn’t read, don’t know if that is true or not but that would mean he must of never went to school and Misty has a 6th grade education. Don’t know how far the rest went to school but I doubt very far. It’s sad the “parents”, and I use that term lightly, didn’t want something better for their kids than what they had..like an education and good jobs and a good life. I hope for the sakes of the kids that Lindsy/Chelsea,since they both went to nursing school, will make sure their kids have a shot a better life..but I am not going to hold my breath on that one either
I can’t remember who Misty was talking to, but on one of the jailhouse calls she said she is trying to teach herself how to read.
Misty is not happy. Ron, on the other hand, is thrilled. It had to have been exhausting being him for the last 12 months. Hypothetically speaking, if he does know where Haleigh is, then to play this act out for 12 months must have grown very old for him and he will enjoy the prison very much. No reporters to hound him, no job to go after, no raggin’ by granny, no answering constant questions about Haleigh & his lack of judgement skills, no more hiding & no more pretending. He called his own future the night Haleigh vanished… *I’m not scared of prison, mf’in prison doesn’t scare me and you can put that on recording, I don’t care.” Ah yes, he knew that very night his fate was sealed and it would only be a matter of time before he ended up where he has belonged for a very long time. After many attempts to have the words *convicted felon* behind his name, he finally succeeded.

The mud that was slung was the DCF call that prompted a drug analysis for Crystal.
HollyG, are you saying that someone informed on Crystal?
@ 2:11 am - Oh for crud’s sake. There was an emergency custody hearing after the arrests and Crystal must have been drug tested then.
I say “must have been” because of the many “reports” (lies) that she had not only taken it but passed it!
Is there ANYONE who thinks that Crystal should not have been tested? Why is that a BAD thing?
I don’t care what or who prompted the test. If anyone had to suggest it to DCFS I am only sorry that DCFS needed the prompting. Geesh.

I do not belive crystal failed any drug test I believe she is clean I do think that Ronald and Misty and all that side of the family knows what happen to that little girl and no one is gonna to say a word about I do believe people change and I believe crystal has changed and that jr is better off with his mother.
