I have just talked with TJ Hart of WSKY 97.3, as I write this article he is sitting in the St. Augustine police complex waiting for them to burn the Jail house tapes onto DVD. The 4 minute clip that aired on Nancy Grace last night (in what seemed like an endless loop) was in fact the only clip that had been released.
It is our intention to get the entire contents uploaded to our FTP site and have clips available by mid afternoon today.
At 1pm Friday Feb/5 eastern TJ Hart and I will be running a special update on the Haleigh Cummings case. By this time both of us will have been able to go through the five hours of recordings. If the 4 minutes of tape that was released yesterday is anything to go by, I suspect that we will have a great deal to talk about.
There were actually some specks of gold in the four minute tape, if you know where to look. It also lends credibility to a phone call that I received two weeks ago concerning Leonard Padilla’s supposed involvement.
The more interesting speck of gold dust in the 4 minutes are the references to Art Harris and the Nevada connection in regard to her bail. If you check Art’s main page there is an item on the left sidebar advertising his pet project of a reality TV program ‘Vegas Bail’. Coincidence?

I thought a couple weeks back that it was Vegas Bail Bonds. I did not know at the time Leonard Padilla was apart of this org. I only knew of his operation in California.

I hope NO ONE bails her out. The longer she stays in jail the more likely she is to come clean about Haleigh. I believe she will collapse under the pressure of general popluation in the jail. Besides, couldn’t she be considered a flight risk?

Am I wrong or are the new charges on misty due to the fact that they hadn’t filed the charges from the drug deal on the day of the arrest? NG acted like mistys new charges were because she admitted to 8 or 9 charges on her visit with her dad instead of the original 6 charges.
Tobias I agree she should sit there and sweat. Misty has to know by now her bond has been raised to over 1 million dollars. I am sure she and Ron are fit to be tied.

looking, I doubt that Ron cares that much that his bail was raised because I don’t think he had any hopes of someone bailing him out.

Padilla is in for yet another embarassing moment. He thinks if he bails Misty out, she will lead him to Haleigh. Good luck there. He will be left with a drug addict that at first opportunity will buy drugs, and her bail will be revoked, and she will go BACK to jail, and after all the side shows and him being on NG and every other show he can get on, HE will have gotten HIS publicity, and we will all be left with the question WHERE IS HALEIGH?
On the video you see her get excited at the prospect of getting out. She even instructs her mom to keep after them. This was really eye opening into how she thinks of her Mom as being inept. Tommy thinks this way too, he worries about where they will go, really? They are only in their 40s not senior citizens for petes sake. moo
As many people as NG has pissed off, she’s not going to rock the boat w/ole’ orange face Art (btw, wth is going on with him? He looked like a lunatic on the show last night). I liked the part when Lisa tells Misty what Ron sid on his interview about his other girlfriend. Dont care… That led me to believe she knows we are all going to see these tapes. She is too unaffected by that even if it were a lie or the truth. Too point blank for Misty.imho

looking, I absolutely agree under no circumstances should she be in the open jail. She is still so naive in many ways. She needs some real counseling and help with basic life skills. The reason I think she should be left in jail is for her protection and for her to learn that there are consequences to her actions.
I would not have such a problem with Padilla if he would just admit that there is something in it for him instead of just act like it is ALL about the child.

The fact that Padilla is even contemplating this action should come as no surprise because EVERYONE ASSOCIATED EVEN REMOTELY WITH THIS CASE ARE IN IT FOR WHAT THEY CAN GET. Nobody is altruistic. They are looking for how they can best capitalize on the case. Much like caylee anthony, this little girl is lost in the side shows. In this whole drama of a missing girl, Haleigh is a bit part player.
There is no picture that I know of. But everyone has agreed it is there on her lower back. Ron claims she did it on her own with Hope. Mistys Mom said Ron and Misty did it.
I dont see her doing it on her own, I have a feeling it was done like a commitment thing.
And hearing Rons latest interview when asked about it he starts laughing and saying you dont see her name on me. Some one needs to play just that part for Misty.imo

Weirdo that I am, I could actually understand LP bailing out monster Anthony. Back then she was claiming she could not do/say what needed to be done/said to find Caylee while she was in jail. And I thought, oh, gosh, what if that’s true? So LP bails her out (for that very reason) and sure enough she won’t even talk to him. So that put my worries to rest right away. And ended any claim she could make in the future that she was prevented from doing whatever to find Caylee. So I was happy about that.
But bailing out Misty? I don’t see any reason to do that at all! None. Except, I guess, publicity for whoever does it. Except it’s gonna be a load of negative publicity! LOL!
But you would have thought they would have jumped on getting her bailed out when it got lowered. imo
What Lenard hopes (and will) get out of bailing Misty is PUBLICITY for his business, A regular spot on NG show, and perhaps (though I find it hard to believe he is this stupid) Misty leading him to Haleigh. The only thing Misty is going to make a bee line for once released is her drug supplier.
Tobias, a couple of things you’ve pointed out recently that M’s mom, Lisa, has said to M and others are just now adding up to me that it looks like Lisa may be purposefully trying to separate M from R. Maybe to encourage M to stop protecting him - IF that’s what she’s doing?
I’m not sure Lisa or anyone else knows what really happened. Just saying that Lisa may be doing that in case M is covering for him OR to encourage her to blame it on him whether that’s true or not. Just thoughts.

I forgot to add that I was equally happy when LP revoked Monster Anthony’s bail the minute he heard about the decomp in the trunk.
What I do NOT understand is why and who bailed her out again after that?! Supposedly a couple of local bail bonds outfits? Never made sense to me. No one got a lot of publicity for that. So - other than being funded by the media which DID make loads off of it - I don’t understand that one.
As much as I’m against M being bailed out, I’m not too worried about only because she still faces such long prison sentences. So until someone impresses the reality of that on her it may not make much difference where she is.

I don’t believe Ron ever truly cared about Misty. He has been using women (girls) all his life. He used her for a babysitter, he used her for sex and I think he married her to keep himself out of hot water (statutory rape charges). His comment about “you don’t see her name tattooed on me” sums it up pretty well. She is young and naive (and operating on limited brain activity due to drug use). If Ron is behind Haleigh’s disappearance, I think Misty will rat him out once she sees the interview with Ron about her tattoo. I still don’t know why Lisa would even bring the girlfriend thing up to Misty while she’s behind bars UNLESS she and Hank think Misty is covering for Ron and they want her to come clean. What other motivation would they have to “hurt” their daughter with that info? Could Ron truly be the one behind Haleigh’s disappearance? Was it an accident in a fit of rage? Did Haleigh get hurt during an arguement between Misty and Ron? I don’t think for a minute that if Ron thought for a second that Misty had something to do with it he wouldn’t have already beat it out of her. On the other hand, Misty is very loyal to Ron (to a fault) and I can see him stringing her along so that she keeps his secret. Just a thought…..grasping at straws and picking apart anything these people say to try and find the truth!
Can we all agree on one thing here? Misty loves Ron(at least what she thinks is love) and until someone gets through to her that he does not love her and is using her to cover up for whoever took Haleigh for whatever reason.
Because if he really wanted to know what she was hiding he would have beat it out of her. Listen to his violent out bursts about finding the ones responcible and that he would kill them. Even the most timid of people have their limits. imho
What makes me absolutely nuts is the fact that if ALL of these people are truly innocent in Haleigh’s disappearance, their actions have cause LE to waste valuable time chasing their tails instead of going after the true abductor! If they all would have been on the up and up and acted like adults, stopped the fighting amongst themselves, not been involved in road rage, decapitated rats, check forgeries, burglaries, drug trafficking, etc., PERHAPS LE could have focused ALL of their attention on finding Haleigh instead of playing this endless shell game of who broke what law THIS time! ALL of these people involved should be ashamed of themselves for making this about THEM instead of about Haleigh!

Tobias - I agree completely….if Ron thought for a second that Misty was involved, she would be dead and buried by now. He isn’t loyal to her in any stretch of the imagination. He married her and has kept her appeased for a reason and it wasn’t love. He knows he can control her and so the only logical reason for keeping her around is because she knows HIS secret or has something on him. And Misty is young, naive, and easily controlled. Either Ron is keeping her around because she is just another play thing to him OR because she’s got something on him. It isn’t the other way around, that’s for sure. He is probably telling her he loves her but that they need to keep their relationship quiet and date other people so LE and the public aren’t all over them and in their face…meanwhile he’s free to bone anyone he pleases and Misty is left following Ron around like a lost puppy with a severe case of puppy love. BUT, that interview of his COULD blow up in his face if Misty sees it and MAYBE that is why Lisa brought up Ron having a girlfriend when she was visiting Misty….maybe Lisa and Hank KNOW Misty knows something and it has to do with Ron and they want her to stop covering for him!
Please explain to me how a man can have an ALIBI, PASS A POLYGRAPH, PASS LE questions, and have a consistent story yet STILL be considered the mastermind, while Misty FLUCKED FLUNKED FLUNKED polygraphs, has NO ALIBI, FLUNKED FLUNKED FLUNKED LE questions, has a story that is ever changing and INCONSISTENT, and STILL be considered someone mearly covering for Ron. JB - as much as I agree with you that they should have behaved as adults (and so should the bio-mom’s side - NOT have side-tracked everything as they did), I have to hope that LE is bright enough to have continued a proper investigation and not allowed themselves to be side-tracked by the side-shows. But that’s just a hope.
I think LE painted a bull’s eye on M’s back from day one and just waited for deer season (when she turned 18) to take her down. I just hope to heaven they had the right target. If not, we’re lost (and so is Haleigh).
I have no doubt in my mind that Misty loves Ron. I beleive the only reason Ron married her in the first place was to keep her in Florida! Do you think that if Ron didnt marry Misty she would be in Michagan or Tennesee at the moment. Im not sure what the law is in Florida with statutory rape but where i live the legal consent in 16 if there was no proof her word against everyone elses!

Hey, my theories on this case have changed with every new development. I don’t claim to know what happened….just tossing around ideas and thoughts. Nothing seems to add up with these people…they don’t do anything “normal” so it makes it hard to tell when they are acting suspicious or their actions are suspect. This could truly be a stranger abduction and all these sideshow antics have just muddied the water into finding the truth. The fact LE doesn’t believe it is a stranger abduction brings me back to the inner circle (or inner circus as the case may be). I jump from one person to the next as each one acts out…..Most recently I was completely confident Ron was innocent but some of his actions have me confused and bothered. I do still believe Misty holds the key. And, if she were to cover for ANYONE, it would have to be Ron. Heck, she ratted out her brother without blinking….I don’t see her being loyal to ANYONE but Ron (or perhaps herself).
I’m open to ALL theories and ideas as I’ve changed my mind so many times I don’t know what to think!

JB @ 2:24 - That’s true but not necessarily an indication of guilt or (to me) enough to hinder a FULL investigation (which I don’t think happened).
I think maybe LE has already started “playing the players” against each other. They probably already told ron that misty has tied him to haleigh and if he has anything to dipute that then this is the time to say so. Ron knows this game well so he says nothing…yet., but just in case, he sends his threats over the airways in hopes that she sees it and takes a stab back at her with the tattoo remarks. then again they all may be singing, just not in unison. We all got used to the Casey Anthony case where we got to see everything (in time) and it is frustrating with this case to really not know WHAT LE has or doesn’t have. cent, I too have been seeing Hank sr in a different light. The man I heard and saw on those tapes is beginning to feel responsible finally for the way his children have turned out. I think he feels helpless and knows there is little he can do to make it beter except to advise her to come clean with what she knows. I feel alittle bad for him.

It’s strange to me that these people are facing life in prison for selling narcodics and yet Micheal Jacksons dr is facing about five years for KILLING the king of pop. I guess it’s all about who ya know and how much doe.
Its easy to be sorry if its hindsight. Like when you know you shouldnt have done something and oh yeah now your sorry. Criminals always are sorry they got caught but not for what they did to get caught. I think if he tried to tell her like he says the only other thing he could have done was to tie her up. Misty did this to herself. Tommy did too, his wife even states that she told him not to go but he went anyways. jmo
methinks - and it is about time. While we certainly cannot be held accountable for everything our children do(or our parents do for that matter)….the apple does not fall far from the tree. These parents have led by example and now they are reaping what they sowed. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, if they start showing some accountability, their children will follow suit…but I’m not holding my breath!

methinks….it does seem like a long sentence….especially when child molesters and rapists are out in a couple of years….to ME they are the ones that deserve life sentences….and YES, murder in ANY shape or form whether it is manslaughter or 1st degree, should come with a very hefty penalty. In the case of MJ’s doc, NEGLIGENCE is obvious…this wasn’t a freak accident…it was blatant negligence and five years is not enough for the loss of any life through negligence!

The only reason it isnt a bigger sentence in Micheal J. case is because he hired the doctor to do this. The doctor is in my opinion only at fault for going along with MJ wishes when he should have said no. jmo
beautiful*adams…but you have to ask yourself WHY don’t these people get a job. I know the economy isn’t great but they could ALL flip burgers and with so many of them living under one roof, they could make a decent life for themselves….BUT, instead, they all look for an easy out…they steal from neighbors, friends, family and strangers, forge checks, deal drugs, TAKE drugs and work the welfare system….so before you feel TOO sorry for them…realize they DID have and DO have other options….they’ve just not chosen to go that route. They give a whole new meaning to taking the “High Road”.

Tobias…it shouldn’t matter, imho, if the doctor was just going along with a patient’s wishes. They have a moral obligation to NOT do things they know to be wrong, unethical or illegal no matter WHO is paying them. The drugs were not administered correctly, weren’t supposed to be used unmonitored and should NOT have been used in a private home setting. Doctor Conrad knew all of this but ignored it for the lure of $. To me, that makes him negligent and he should pay. This didn’t need to happen…he should have refused. He made his choice and now he should have to deal with it.
JB, I do agree with you, they are responsible. I just know how hard things can get. In my eyes were accountable for our own actions. I won’t be sending them NO MONEY!!!
No LE had a responcibility to get those drugs off the streets before someone else got them and possibly died. Thats what we pay them for with our tax dollars isnt it? If these people had been approached by the UC they could have said are you nuts we dont know anything about drugs. They instead decided to bring him into the fold as a customer. imho
BTW, not a HUGE MJ fan but NO ONE deserves to die the way he did. It shouldn’t have happened. BUT, MJ bares much of the responsibility himself as well. He was addicted and he used his power and wealth to get the drugs he craved. He simply found a doctor greedy enough to give into his every whim….and it was his death sentence.

I don’t think the drug thing was a “set-up”…after all, LE didn’t force these freaks into dealing drugs. BUT, it certainly COULD work in LE’s favor in solving the Haleigh case…at least I’m praying it does. I agree with Tobias that LE has been tasked with cleaning up the streets and getting the drug dealers off of it. Many times I’ve griped about LE in Satsuma and wondered why they allowed all the drug activity. I’m glad they at least made a small dent in the problem. No “sting” would have worked unless these people were committing a crime. The facts are, these people WERE committing crimes on their own as a way to make a quick buck and they got caught. This isn’t Ron’s first rodeo after all…and none of these people are candidates for sainthood by any stretch of the imagination. Most are career criminals even if much of what they’ve done has been petty crime. It is a way of life for them. Again, they could have chosen to get a REAL job but the lure of easy money is too much for them.
If I were Lisa and Hank I would have lied to her and told her Ron is saying you know more and he is pinning everything on you. I dont care what you did but if you know anything please go to your lawyer and tell him what happened. I would do it to get to the truth and if I really thought she was protecting him. jmo

Tobias…All I see is a young, naive, drug addicted child who until now has gotten away with ALL of her bad behaviors. In many ways, she has been protected by her family in that they’ve TAUGHT her (by example) how to get away with things and she really has never been held accountable. I’m sure ALL of this is a HUGE surprise to her and she thought someone would immediately show up and rescue her. But she is in WAY over her head this time. This isn’t selling a dime bag on the corner…this is big time drug dealing. She is going to do some time…no way around that at this point…BUT, she could reduce her sentence greatly IF she knows the truth about Haleigh and she comes clean…imho only.

Tobias…yes, I do believe Ron see’s Misty as an enemy. He’s all about “HIM”. He used Misty. Now whether she has something on him about Haleigh or some other crime, God only knows. He strings her along for some reason…is it for sex? Is it because she has something on him? I don’t know the answer to that but you would think he’d be a little more careful with his comments during interviews if he was afraid she’d spill the beans and rat him out. Surely he knows by now she ratted out her brother….so if she has something on him…he would surely start watching what he’s saying about Misty…or maybe he isn’t that smart. This is all so confusing. One minute I think it was Misty, then it was her creepy cousin, then I think Ron is responsible, I’ve thought Crystal and her family took Haleigh….I don’t know what to believe. It does help to chat with you guys though….helps me sort out my thoughts and suspicions…shows me the errors in my thinking and enlightens me to new possibilities.
Also if she acts out he can always put her right back in the pookie. hmmmm
Tobias…I too have strong feelings Ron has something to do with this….maybe it is just my dissatisfaction with his lifestyle and putting the kids in harm’s way…or maybe it is something more sinister. But the way he has used Misty (and other young girls), his violent tendencies and temper, his drug issues, and his own words and actions just strike me as being a little fishy. Something doesn’t add up but I can’t put my finger on what it is.
I would still like to know where Ron and the kids were on the weekend before all of this.
And who may have been around them on that weekend. jmo
Tobias…sure, Padilla might actually get through to Misty and she will confess all she knows….but I think there is just as big a chance that the Easter Bunny will sneak into the jail, pelt Misty with rotten easter eggs and she will confess all she knows. Until someone, ANYONE, gets involved with a pure heart instead of alterior motives, we may never get the truth. Too many people vying for their 15 minutes of fame instead of truly wanting to find Haleigh. Even Misty, with her one remaining brain cell can see that and can spot these fame seekers coming a mile away….in fact, she is learning to use them to her advantage…(i.e. trips to Orlando, theme parks, beach, hotel rooms, free meals, make overs, etc.)
For all we know something may have happened that weekend to the kids. She saw something or someone doing something. It has been left out of the media and I wonder why no info on where they were that week end. jmo

Tobias…surely LE knows what happened that weekend….if it were important enough they surely would have been following another lead instead of honing in on Misty. I sure wish we knew what LE knows…..I KNOW in all those boxes and shelves of evidence there is a LOT we don’t yet know…and may never know.

I think Hank “magic man” Sr. was possibly surprised by “something”, when he said to her, “why didn’t you come forward before”?
We would get headaches and alot of paper cuts but yeah it would help to form a good theory on what happened.
Maybe Misty was too messed up (drugged) to remember what happened that night. Maybe that is why her story versions have changed so much…but maybe the people that took Haleigh are afraid she’ll remember something. If that person was Ron, that would explain why he was keeping her close. Sorry, don’t mean to keep going back to Ron….it just happens! LOL

Everyone - new article posted - has links to phone calls made by Ron, Misty and others. I can’t listen to them because I’m at work. Someone tell me what they say! This is killing me! lol
So far from these tapes, I believe Misty, Lindsey and Tommy know more than they are telling about Haleigh. Misty has said that she may give LE something. Tommy is telling Lindsey to keep quiet and don’t say anything.
As it becomes clear to them that they are going down for a long stretch, I believe Tommy and Misty will give up what they know.
Karon, if they know anything about where Haleigh is I want them to tell all and take responsibility for any part they have in that.
But when Tommy was telling Lindsey to keep quiet I thought he was talking about robberies etc. There is no telling the petty things he has done, I don’t think that necessarily meant it was about Haleigh. But we all want her found. I am hoping and praying she will be home very soon.

It doesn’t add up that he is talking about thefts, because she says immediately, when he says I may not even be going to prison. She says I know, I’m not saying anything. I don’t think he is talking about one thing, but what happened to Haleigh. A little later, she says we’re not saying anything. If something happened and Haleigh got hold of some pills, Tommy and his wife lived close by, and she would have called on them to help. I really believe Misty and Tommy know something, and it won’t take them long to crack. Misty is already saying she may have to tell. We will soon see.

If they know something I hope they crack today & tell everything that could possibly help Haleigh. But he is in jail on drug charges and he did just get new charges added on for theft. He is accused of stealing another gun, but it is his word against the gun owners because they can’t find the gun. It could be that she has gun info or knows more about the drug mess he is in. It is just a thought. I am for him staying in jail until he tells all. I’m just not sure he knows about Haleigh.

Isn’t it something how the Croslin’s fuss and fight, but they are all clearly concerned about each other and show alot of love toward each other?
I wondered how Tommy felt about Misty after she told the cops things that got him in more trouble? He appears very worried for Misty’s well-being, almost panicky. Of course Tommy told the police Misty wasn’t home the night Haleigh disappeared.
I wonder if Rons new girlfriend is 13 or 14 yrs. old? Ron seems to not care that he is in jail and Misty is freaking out! GOOD! She needs to get use to it because she is there for a long time. Misty thinks people are getting her out, ha! Her parents don’t even have gas money to go anywhere. Last night on NG Misty was whinning and crying to get out. How does she think Haleigh felt? She probably wanted out, away from the abuse and drug users and the hillbillies. Hee Haw!
