So what I read is donate monies to the jail instead of Ron’s funds or Crystales funds. Go to it!!!Keep Ron and Misty in jail. Keep them there as long as possible. They will never tell what happend to Haliegh. They are both involved. They will get more time for drugs than they will for involuntary manslaughter, if we are all right in that Haleighs’ death was an accident staged obduction. Keep the 2 of them in jail.

I am getting more suspicious of Ron. Who gave the alibi for him? Was it just some guys at work? They might not be that trust worthy.Pinkey could be right the mom may want Misty to get jealous so she will rat Ron out.Even if he is not guilty of anything he is still stupid to get arrrested and leave his son.

Thanks TJ….great job keeping up with these slimy druggies. LE has Misty right were they want her…..in a cell becoming spastic. They should move in for the kill so to speak. Dan I agree with you that Ron is drug dealer ,but that does not mean he killed his kid. On Sundays show with Simon, Jan ,TJ Hart, Denny and Levi Page. Information about the time clocks was talked about. They said the time clocks were in the process of being changed out. I did not hear anything about a guard at this point.
We all are still waiting to find out what happened to Haleigh. Noone knows who has done what. Therefore I will not convict anyone, but I am suspicious of Ron although I was not in the beginning. I have stated before now I hope it is just suspicion; not fact.

One thing we can all agree on is — there’s not a speck of brain matter with anyone of these druggies.
Knowing that they are all suspects in Haleigh’s disappearance….what do they do?
Go hunting for a drug dealer. Now is that smart? To them YES….because Haleigh is the furthest thing from their minds.

I have always respected the fact that LE can’t and should not tell the public a lot of things.
So I would not expect him to say much even now.

However I was dumbfounded by the smart-mouth retort to TJ’s question: “Are we still looking for a live child? Some have stated that the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is looking for either a live child or possibly a dead child, but prefers to think the child is alive.”

JH response: “Don’t you want us to find a live child?”

And, yes, to answer TJ’s question, ” . . .a lot of challenges including the disapperance of Haleigh Cummings. Any light at the end of the tunnel as far as a resolution in this investigation?”

I would have expected a little more or at least different than the tired old response:
JH: “This is an ongoing investigation.”

I’m just afraid that this was not the right move to make to find out what happened to Haleigh. That it might actually prevent finding out what happened. I hope not, but that’s the way I feel right now.

It’s just that I can’t think of an incentive for these people to tell anything. They’re facing potentially more than a life-time in jail on the drug charges alone. How can that much jail time be whittled down to something that makes ‘fessing up info about Haleigh worthwhile? Maybe the state attorney general can make such deals magically happen. I don’t know.

m2c did you see the first coast news interview with Leonard Padilla yesterday. He says he is waiting to see if Mistys lawyer wants him to bond her out. He says that the bond of 135,000 is no problem. Man!! I hope he does not do this. Misty needs to sweat it out!!! They all need to stay right where they are!!!

What I hope is that somehow someone can impress upon M what her real situation is so that IF she knows something she will spill it!

If she has to stay in lock-up to “sober up” in order to understand that or if it takes giving her another (very temporary) taste of freedom to get her to that point, I don’t much care.

One thing that concerned me: They were arrested on January 20, I think. M talked with her mother on January 28 and was asking her what 10% of $50,000 was. Her bail had been set at close to a million during her first appearance in court on Jan 21, right?

Is anyone - a lawyer - anyone telling her what her real situation is? It didn’t seem to me that she had any idea of the mess she’s in - if she was hoping at that point to be bailed out by a family that can’t afford dish soap? I don’t understand that.

Leonard Padilla, the good ole boy is so concerned for Haleigh, that after she has been missing for an entire year is willing to pay $135,000 to bail Misty out. Why wouldn’t he have spent $135K to search for her a year ago?? I smell a skunk.

Then M still does not understand. Just using round numbers IF the bonds company got the bail reduced by half (HOW would they do that?) it would be about $500,000. Ten percent of that is $50,000. So M is still off-base asking what 10% of $50,000 is. I think about $50,000 is what the family would have to pay the bondsman, right?

Anyway, as I said, I am concerned about her not realizing her situation because THAT is what is going to open her mouth if anything will (IMO). But those recordings were on 1/28 so maybe she’s realized more since then.

The tapes we saw had to have been the first, when the group from Nevada were still in the picture.

I think that as we get more tapes to view its going to be harder to watch, Misty and Tommy are going to feel more doomed. And where are the Ronald tapes? They have to release those too under the law. imo

In ways Misty is older and missed being a child but in other ways she is frozen back in time and is very immature and childlike. I don’t know if she would run unless someone took her. How could she make it on her own??

She might be safer in jail, even with someone with a financial interest watching her. Just my opinion.

Well you Tobias in the Casey Anthony case they had an Rv outside of the Anthony home and they put a woman inside with Casey to be with her at all times. They put a plan in place so she couldn’t run. I am sure this is what they would do with Misty. There is a chance, but I hope not.
Treece in the very beginning around the 11th or 12th of Feb 2009. LP was in Satsuma and was going to put forth a reward for a small time period for info and then retract it if noone came forward. I believe his help was refused as was George Anthonys who also went to Satsuma about the same time.
LP made an offer to Misty around the time she went to Orlando to do the ldt and voice analysis, but she refused it.

What do you think about people who know things about what other people have done that they could go to jail for? I’d say there’s a good chance they are in danger, wouldn’t you? (That’s presuming she knows something which I certainly could not tell you one way or the other. I of course have my OPINION.) So maybe I should have said IF she knows something. JMO

Okay, if you want to REALLY get into conspiracy thinking: What if she doesn’t know anything, and someone wanted to make it look like she did?

The wheels of the bus go round and round. I would look for horses before zebras. The simplest explanations are often the ones that are true. Just my opinion.

m2c, I think there could be a number of people after Misty. Someone who Misty has been lying for, someone who thinks she hurt Misty and wants to inflict their own justice, someone who has an old debt to settle or just some nut who wants in the media. This is a high profile case and tends to bring out the nuts. Look at how many nuts we already know of who have had to stick their noses in this case.

I have two comments. I agree that Sheriff Hady was rude with his “Don’t you want us to find a live child?” response. This was plain belligerence. of course TJ would prefer that Haleigh be located alive, as would we all. But, we need to be charitable and excuse him as he must be very stressed and exhausted by this case and by the overcrowded situation at the jail. Still, he shouldn’t take it out on someone who is doing their own job.

The second comment has to do with Leonard Padilla, who doesn’t appear to learn very well. Didn’t he make this same mistake with Casey A? He thought that when she got home and got a hot bath and got her nails done, she would loosen up and tell Padilla all she knew. We all know how well this worked! Even though it’s clear that Misty is a liar, he seems to think that this case will be different. Fat chance.
