IMO I dont think Misty knows nothing or she would have already sang.LE knows what happened and this is why this case has drug out these 11 months. This case willl prob go cold cuz of LE. I pray it dont cuz i feel this baby is alive.I dont know what to think anymore. But i dont feel Ron or Misty is guilty if they are I will eat by words.I will keep saying they need to look in another direction, all this is my opinion only.

Last night, on the Levi Page Show, one of the guests wouldn’t give details, but she said the police had absolute proof that Haleigh was never put to bed. If that is so, what could the absolute proof be?

If GGSykes saw the kids eating out on the porch, around 7:00p.m. that night. How do we know that, after GGSykes left, the child ever got back inside? It was after dark. Jr. could have gone back in the house for something, and someone could have snatched Haleigh. Misty could have panicked after that. There are so many possibilities.

I have thought about what would be the absolute proof that Haleigh was never put to bed that night, and it had to be people coming forward to LE that they had seen her out that night. Or someone had been to the house, and she wasn’t in her bed.

I have wondered if Tommy, actually, went into the house that night, and noone was home? There may be several people seeing her out with Misty. I cannot think of any other reason LE would have absolute proof. Can any of you? If what this guest said is fact, it throws some new light on this case. LE said, all along, that they have proof, in the house, that Misty isn’t being truthful about that night.

I really think Misty, Tommy, or Ronald is talking. We know Misty gave Tommy up for burglary, and that is awfully serious, in itself. Tommy has already given some information up in the past and, I think, he is a talker.

Why is an inquiry about this being disingenuinous?

The Sunshine Law can be explained better by others but the best I can do is to say that it only applies to cases where charges have been brought, I believe.

However, IF a case has gone cold, then there is a provision to allow all LE’s files to be released and someone IS requesting that formally now. They submitted the request formally to PCSO some months ago and of course PCSO denied it. Then the person submitted it - as appropriate - to the next level - the State Attorney General. It was at this time that PCSO pulled it’s “Great Sting” operation. So I have to wonder if one of the reasons they did that was to “prove” that the case was on-going so they would not have to open their files. Not a nice thing to think but well…there it is. A possibility anyway.

protectkidz: I can’t explain R’s behavior before or now! I can only think that - like most relationships- theirs is complicated. Obviously he was first attracted to her for the basest and most obvious reason (and most likely still is). And secondly, saying that she may know more is exactly what LE has been saying. Tough to blame him for that! lol!

Also, how often have we heard from friends and relatives and spouses and girl/boyfriends of the worst kind of criminals that they NEVER suspected the person was capable of doing that (whatever it was)? So if R has/had a difficult time believing that M hurt Haleigh it is not surprising to me. He may also understand her relationship to her brother or family better and realize it would be difficult for her to “give him up.” And if he does “know” something or thinks he does, he should tell LE. His days of trying to find out himself (if he ever was trying to do that) are over.
All I can say is that I hope LE is on the right track. IF anyone who is locked up now is responsible or knows who is then there’s a chance of finding out what happened to her.
But if anyone who is in jail now KNOWS that Haleigh is being held by someone, then she’s gone now. They’ll get rid of her and run.
So my hopes of her being alive are diminishing.

and here’s another question: with the Sunshine Law, why have the journalists involved in this story not requested and recieved any docs? In KC’s case, we knew so much more. Has the court sealed this?

I don’t know how much he knows about the night Haleigh went missing, but his recent comments that he believes Misty knows more than she is telling (altho that did not stop him from getting into a car with her while she was conducting a drug deal…) makes me wonder why he would say that, if it is just gut instinct with him or if he has factual knowledge?

I think he knows something, but I can’t for the life of me figure out why he would not spill it. Maybe it IS just gut instinct on his part but Ron does not strike me as being a stupid person, so his affiliation with Misty has left me baffled. (well, not really baffled…)

Back to Haleigh: interesting to me that any movement on this case has included Misty’s family. Wasn’t sure at one time if it was just because these people are always getting in trouble, but now I am truly starting to wonder.

M has been trying to tell LE to look at T since the beginning. Maybe she does not know for sure, doesn’t have proof, or wants LE to find the proof so the downfall of her brother does not rest solely with her. IDK.

I expect she saw those stolen items when she was staying with Lindsey and T starting shortly after she returned from Tennessee and got the restraining order against T stopped. Or maybe she saw them around Christmas/New Years because she was there then, too (even tho I think she stayed several other places during that time as well)

I want to know about Tommy, too. I want to know when he stole the stuff that he is now being charged with, and I want to know why Misty thought it was a big enough juicy tip to actually spill to LE during an interview on Jan. 20th.

yes, I can definitely see some crazy person going after Misty which WOULD affect the case, but I don’t think the internet stuff makes as big of an impact as say, the antics of those who walk right into Satsuma/Palatka and insinuate themselves.

LE won’t be swayed by internet comments and plus, they have way more info than we do. Most likely if they read, they are shaking their heads at the circus.

I will tell you what would be cool: if one of the people who know some of the secrets (the important secrets, not letters between grandmas re: vigils) were to pop onto one of the forums or blogs and start letting loose - now, that would be awesome!

I would bet that there are many, many secrets to be shared, but no one wants to share. Wonder why?

So right now I’m more interested in what kind of guy Tommy is. A simpleton? A sneak thief? A kidnapper or worse?

We don’t know much about Joe except his criminal record. Maybe that’s enough.

But these guys (one or both of them) may be directly responsible OR T knows who is. Maybe the pressure’s on T now but I don’t know why he’d confess. What kind of deal could LE offer to make him want to do that? IDK.

I wouldn’t have believed it either if it wasn’t for what happened to the case with all the blog wars against R that Marie & Co waged (with or with approval from KP) along with bloggers from other sites and that caused really bad feelings among bloggers, some of whom inserted themselves in this case literally (physically and personally) and I think did some damage. Possibly diverting attention away from where it should be for a number of reasons (custody issues, who to blame for R’s disappearance as examples).
So I’m afraid that there is a chance that those kinds of things can happen again.

I’ve said before that I’m surprise M hasn’t been harmed by some crazy person or that R hasn’t - although it seems even more likely now (in part thanks - perhaps - to that ‘Jungle’ video).

For what reason(s), we don’t know. But at its most simple, either some people have an agenda about BNN or an agenda about Haleigh’s case/family or THEY personally need therapists.

i think it was a week or two ago, tj commented about the fact he wondered if some posters really were working to shut this all down and i think jan agreed with his comment, that she had wondered about that too? i sometimes wonder if some bloggers really want all of the discussion to just stop. (i hope i remember it correctly that it was tj and jan!)

But from what I’ve seen it basically boils down to about a half-dozen and that’s all they want to do, it seems. And some must have gotten nail guns for Christmas! (Ugh)

A few have been blogging here a while - maybe only one for as long as you have. And some are pretty new here. They can ALL go to other well-known R bashing blogs, so I have to wonder why are they doing this here and now?

1) To get the blog closed down. If they cause enough fights, Simon will close down the comments section. There are lots of people out there who hate BNN (and the bloggers here) and would LOVE to see that happen!

Both are anti-social behaviors.

Some doctors call them sociopaths, others refer to them as psychopaths. Either way, the terms are used to describe individuals who have a range of personality disorders. These people are not certifiably mentally ill, they are biological carriers of socially and personally problematic traits. Such traits may have been manifested from childhood.

Just to let everyone know I looked back and the CathyJo63 on here is the same one that has been commenting here. I don’t know why anyone would accuse her of being someone else but she is the same one that have been in here unless there is something that I am not aware of. I have talked to her before in emails and in my opinion she is just a concerned parent like the rest of us are so please stop the accusations.

PLEASE let this drop as it is disrupting everyone else. We are not here to accuse anyone of wrongdoing, we are here to discuss Haleigh Cummings and try to find out how to get her home.
