I think it is clear that my articles concerning Donna Brock have reached some folks that do not want to have their name associated with her. I received a delightful email that included this quote:
I also do not give you permission to print any part of this. I hope you understand how many people this has hurt. I don’t feel Donna is worth that.
This came ’supposedly’ from someone in the group shot. I was asked to remove the photo from the article but told that it was OK to leave the close up of Donna Brock if I so desired.
I do not appreciate being grouped with her, nor did I give permission for my picture to be posted. If you want to post the zoom in of Donna, that’s your business…..but I believe I speak for the rest of us, that we would prefer the group picture taken out.
This person also went on to explain that the ‘Finger’ was not aimed at Tim Miller, or his organization TES, the group in the photograph were just blowing off steam, they had had a hard day, and the sentiment was aimed at someone else.
This person also went on to explain that no one in the picture agreed with Donna Brock.
Of course this begs the question of why Donna Brock is not the only one in the picture that is extending a digit? Or maybe more importantly why Donna Brock is clearly the focal point in the picture. If Donna Brock was so disliked why would this group of people assemble around her?
One aspect that still puzzles me are the dates. This picture was taken three days before the termination letter. One wonders if the picture had anything to do with it?
In no way do I wish to implicate Tim Miller, nor TES in the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings. To do so would be crass stupidity. TES has a long history of helping some people. Alas though, there are many families that do not share this view.
What is interesting is that much of the vitriol is aimed not at the organization as a whole, but squarely at Tim Miller himself. Even within the organizations that volunteer time, money, and effort to search for missing children there seems to be a Tim Miller issue. Mark Klaas for example came out with guns blazing on a Nancy Grace program over Miller’s involvement in the Haleigh Cummings case and his use of Donna Brock as ‘bait’.
Here is a question for all of you sleuths, where is Donna Brock’s hubby? How come he has not coughed up the money to spring her from jail?
I am sure that this is going to be a discussion item on our radio program tomorrow.

This is called ‘damage control’. I would imagine some in the photo have been admonished and probably threatened with loss of their active status with TES. Those in the photo that chose to put their fingers up evidently had no problem doing so at the time.
Those that did not, evidently did not have a problem standing next to those who did for the photo. Maybe Mark NeJame has called…or, TES has used his name to threaten. I cannot imagine that anyone with any sense could not figure out that when you pose for pictures of any kind, they can in some mysterious way end up on the internet. Why wait for there to be an incident that causes such photos to appear?
Why not use common sense, act like adults, act like people who a family would welcome to help them and not pose for such and then complain?
SImon, Another thing…IF this person didnt want to be in this pic with DB or grouped with her, why didnt this person just STEP OUT OF THIS PIC? hmmm

If they disliked her so much…they all look smiling happily to me. DB is front and center gesturing with both fingers and looks to me that she is leader of the ‘group’ who are now moaning and groaning because they are associated with her… tuf to them.

I would like to pose a question. If the picture had anything to do with the termination of Donna Brock, what is the status of the others who also exibited such bad behavior? The termination letter that I have seen posted on the web does not state a reason for termination and I find that odd. It appears the picture in question was taken in a public place so one would assume those involved did not have a problem with wearing
Texas Equusearch shirts and posing for such.
If Donna Brock was the only one in the photo singled out for termination, it would be interesting to know why that was.
This type behavior surely cannot be helpful to families that need help as one could assume that LE just might not be cooperative with such a group, thus making a search for a missing person difficult to coordinate.
Her husband lives in NC, he is ex Navy. I would just as not put his name out there, no reason too. I’ve heard they were divorced and they were separated, who knows? who cares? That’s his own personal business. He has nothing to do with the case.
I was told the pictures were taken after Somers funeral and that someone said to flip off all the child killers.

I think people can be let go for any reason and no reason! It’s possible, too, that TES did not want to be specific for any number of reasons - one of which could be that DB might sue them for whatever accusation they might make (be it true or not). So I don’t find that part odd.

Just in general: I think DB and the others who gave the finger had a little agreement beforehand and the others didn’t know about it. Many in the photo were looking at the camera not at her or the others. A photo snaps so fast how could anyone who didn’t want to be photographed with those people move out of the way in time? IMO whoever disseminated that photo should be rooted out of TES with a sharp trowel along with DB and the other finger-shooters. They are all doing harm to a good organization and to future efforts to find missing persons. Just despicable (IMO)
There is a different way of looking at this group surrounding DB. They may have gathered in the group to have their picture made, then DB jumped in front to do her gesture. A few of them may have jokingly went along with her. The others may feel embarrassed by the way they were acting. We don’t know the exact sequence of how this all happened. DB strikes me as the type person who is going to be the center of attention, if she has to stand on her head to do it.

Who sent the picture or posted it so bnn could use it? I thought there were releases if you used someones picture as news. Maybe thats just for certain news and not internet news?

I agree, the picture is in very bad taste and had I been in the photo, I would have tried to step out of it before it was taken. It is also obvious who the Ring Leader is and that is Donna Brock. As bad as this is, I would be even more concerned to know that a member of that organization was dealing drugs …. that would upset me more than the “finger shoot”. It’s a black-eye and poor judgement having her as a member but not much they could do about it until it was too late.

I really dont see anything about DB except that she is trying to get 15 minutes of fame and it backfired on her big time. lol

Whether the photo was taking aim at Tim Miller or whether the photo was aimed at anyone else on the planet, bottom line is it was juvenille, tasteless, tacky, immature and shows what level DB will go to. Donna Brock doesn’t look too upset being in jail, at least not to me. Seems to me she is the eqivelant of a Ronald Cummings. Aging yet doesn’t mature w/age.

If they had just attended a funeral for a child they searched for that was found thrown away like trash I can understand the anger at child killers.
Gage: The only problem with that is that most of them look happy and even smiling in the photo… not a message to send to child killers.

I think the only thing that photo “proves” is that a few members/volunteers of TES are juvenile “A-hats.” We already knew one of them was so that’s not a big revelation. There’s always a few bad apples in the barrel. At least TES knows who they are now and will hopefully toss them all out.
Could it be they were mugging for the camera anyway when the call to fly the flags to childkillers was made?

I don’t see it that way. I see Donna Brock positioning HERSELF front and center which is typical of what we’ve seen of her character in other situtations.

I agree with the first comment Donna Brock does look a tad mannish. Perhaps she has fallen for little Misty? That are she went in on the drug deals to earn Mistys trust.(although that would be going to the extremes) Ron might have been involved for that reason too. Also shooting the bird in the picture with other ES members was the height of bad taste The are involved in missing children cases and should conduct themselves with more dignity.

WTH does this mean? For the love of God man, just use your journalistic acumen to say what it is that you have to say. You’ve made enough innuendos.
And be sure to let us know just how/where you came about the “many families” statistics.
Some write about missing children cases because it draws attention. Some write about TES because it draws attention. Some write about Caylee Anthony because it gets them hits on their blog. Some write about Haleigh Cummings because it draws attention to their blog and makes them money through advertisers. Some write about, write about, write about…
For what? Click, click, click…get those hits up! Get those post numbers up so your blog gets advertisers. And the common man who really and truly cares is used, again.

It is highly possible that a DB was taking the picture herself using a timer and she jumped into the photo at the last minute doing the gesture and others around her did the same. This would not allow time for others to jump out of the picture, and they may not have been aware of what was going on.
How many of us have been in photos with friends, or even a family photo at a wedding, where one or two idiots do a gesture or weird face that others did not know about until they saw the picture?
The pic…..means nothing to me…..many people “goof off” and take these kinds of pictures. Yes, it’s immature and silly. Might even make the organization look bad one day…..as we see here…but not intentional. I also wondered why everyone was shown clearly. Just because you’re standing in a picture with other friends and commrades doesn’t mean you like or approve of everyone in your group. I think that it was a spur of the moment guesture that wasn’t given a lot of thought. It is SENSATIONAL though, isn’t it? It makes DB & co look pretty bad, even if taken out of context. That was my original thoughts on the “picture”. Just remeber folks, be carefull who you stand near when someone is holding a camera. God forbid 6 months or a year later a person in that picture commits a crime, especially a very publisized one. You may find yourself wishing you HAD NEVER BEEN THERE TO BEGIN WITH. Maybe even stop associating with or volunteering with a particular group due to the “fall-out” of one person’s stupid decisions. WOuldn’t that be sad? No more people volunteering for certain orgs due to one person’s choices?
The picture with the gestures makes the team with the “tes” organization shirts on disgusting. Though I think most of those in the pic are good going honest citizens helping a good organization, I believe Donna is a dark soul, as we are learning since she’s became news. What a Wife, Mother and Grandmother, not for one minute does she represent real women in any context.
I’m not holding those accountable in the pic, though if it were me I would have knocked the blonde out of Donna’s hair if she pulled a stunt like that with me involved, period.
We are talking and dealing about the “Missing”, and many times the “Missing Babies”. The filthy talk cussing, finger filth has no place in that midst. Runs too parrell with the perps who harms these innocent missing human beings. Their darkness started out just like this. Having inappropriate behaviors in the midst it doesn’t belong.
I would like to see Tim get a hold of himself and take better care of his health and nutrition. He’s got a good organization with good goals and support. It’s good healing and focus for him personally after his personal tragedy he’s experienced. I pray for Tim to gain strength and insight to get back on the “good path”, fighting the “good fight” for mankind.
Simon, I appreciate your articles, you keep us informed. I’m sure if there was something glorious to report in the Haleigh Cummings case, Glorious articles about the players, I believe they would have headlines here too. Good job, don’t get discouraged by those who point the finger at the wrong ones, yet don’t speak out against those who clearly do wrong around Haleigh’s case.

Unlike some, I believe each and every person in the picture exibiting bad behavior is responsible for their own actions. I continue to wonder if all those who put their fingers up were terminated by TES or was it only Donna? Is it possible that TES only became aware of he picture when it surfaced on this site and that Donna was terminated for other reasons? I am in NO way defending Donna Brock but what is fair for one is fair for all when it comes to the subject of the picture should that be the reason for her termination. JMO
Is it possible that some folks in the photo were friends of Donna’s and that they were unaware of the depth of her problems at the time? I just cannot imagine that anyone in that photo thought that their picture would end up on the internet instead of a private photo book.
Not knowing whether or not the other people in the pic were aware of the finger gesture, I only judge those that did it themselves. I hope they were all given their walking papers from TES. What a disgusting way to pose while wearing TES shirts.
TES relies on public donations to survive. Now that NG doesn’t allow Tim on anymore, I don’t know where his money is going to come from. These people only made things worse for TES, and imo, unless Tim sobers up, TES’ days are numbered.
I just want to say that no one knows what TM is going thru.My Mother lost my 2yr.old sister 5yrs before I was born.One T’giving she was at my house with my family. My granddaughter was around 2 or 3.When I drove her home she cried because she reminded her of my sister.This stayed with her till the day she died.2 of my sisters lost kids after they were grown.It’s a tragedy a parent never gets over,no matter how many yrs. i knew donna when she lived in nc we started refferring to her as crazy donna. she is always out for pills. she would get her gums scraped even if they didnt need it for the pain pills. she is also prone to violence and can be scary when shes mad. as soon as i heard she was hanging out with them i knew trouble was ahead. her husband probly doesnt bail her out because he at home dealing with their son who is a teenager and probly does better without her around
one more thing donna is very controling and i feel sorry for anyone that gets messed up with her. im not saying that misty and ron arent responsible for their actions but she is much older and will maniputate any situation she can to get her drug fix. one night at my house she was looking at herself in the mirror with a wig on saying isnt she pretty reffering to herself in the third party kinda scared me. she is a bad person. i really hope she doesnt make a deal because the world is better off with out her running around dealing drugs. i heard they got the drugs from a dentist in va she use to be a dental assistant so maybe she set the whole thing up. somehow she only has one count. i dont understand that. she told everyone back home she was a spy we call her special aggent 420 cause shes such a pot head. her husband is a good man an ex usmc the marriage has always been unstable donna likes to sleep around and even brags about it. i hope they see her for what she is an old women taking young people down a road they shouldnt be on its too bad.
Happy karen, how did you know donna, and her husband isnt ex usmc, hes retired navy and an awesome person, he is bailing her out because they arent together, they seperated thats why she lived in florida and him in nc..
