First, of all the man is Retired Navy, so many of the locations you mention may well be Navel Stations.. Not Uncommon.. He orignally came from NM, which is not far from Las Cruces, in fact.. Las Cruces has NMSU, he may well have attended there. Also, outside of Las Cruces is White Sands Missile Range An Army Post, which has Navel Personnel stationed within, they refer to that as the “Desert Ship”. I do think that this issue over Donna, does not involve her husband, and it is unfair for us to bring him into it. He cannot be held responsible for her behavior. She apparently made her own decisions.

That’s what people do who refuse to allow others to have a different opinion and who cannot debate the issues in a civil manner but instead have to personally attack and disparage those who disagree with them.

I think it’s because, in properly trained hands, it can be a very valuable investigative tool and lead the investigators in the direction of the right questions, the ones they need to ask. It can also point away from the innocent very early on and prevent wasting valuable time, etc. That’s my understanding of it.

Re: Ron and his jailhouse statement. Let’s go back a year and remember the enormous amount of sympathy he garnished with his grief, his statements that he would hunt down the person who took Haleigh.

I thought BNN was suppose to be about editorial pieces and such, but this blog entry reads like tabloid crap. You omit that Tim and TES washed their hands of Donna MONTHS before her arrest, and as well, you laced up the blog entry by calling it a Haleigh Cummings update. There is not one update on Haleigh, here. On top of that, you try to loop the Anthony case and Tim’s placement in it without getting to a point. The mentioning of of the Anthony case in regards of Tim seems to be nothing more than tabloid filler, on this blog entry.

TES is an open book and has always been an open book. They have to be because they are a non-profit charity. People can look into it as much as they want and they will find a group of caring people that have worked hard to bring people home to their families. Tim is not perfect, he readily admits his flaws. He is no angel and he is no saint, he has demons that most of us hope that we never have to battle, but he has put forth a true effort to do some good in this life by helping others. Is he untouchable? no, but attacking him in the name of “journalism” based upon gossip and rumors is not how you go about putting the man under the light of scrutiny.

I challenge you to step away from the computer and put your foot to the ground and truly search for people, to forgo resorting to tabloid “journalism”. As well, I have to ask: when are you going to hold Cobra’s feet to the fire? You have allowed that man to sit on your show and change his story so many times that it is ridiculous. You have allowed him to beg for money, but never held him to a standard of accountability. You have so much stuff on that man from personal interaction, but yet it is Tim Miller that you sensationally go after, based on rumors and gossip. Ever heard of “yellow journalism”?

I am with you on your comment. Add Ron’s poor mother to the prayer list. I saw an interview of her leaving the jail, yesterday. She has had so much grief and loss and, now, she has lost Jr. and Ron is going to prison. I wonder, sometimes, if the poor woman will make it?

And, yes. If one of those searchers had found Caylee’s remains then I’m sure they would have expected to talk with LE about having found them. But none of them did. It is irrelevant.
The pressure being applied to TES by the DUH-fense is yet another delay, distraction, attempt to confuse and plant doubt in the minds of future jurors. It is another act in the circus. It is disgusting.

Maybe I’m missing something here, but it seems to me that any adult involved in a search for a missing child would understand that there was a possibility they might be the one that would find the child, and therefore there was a chance they would be called into court as a witness to what they saw and the circumstances under which they saw it.

Is TM being accused by anyone of obstruction?

Other than that, is there some other kind of pressure being applied to make him release (or not release) even more details than he would reasonably (as I described above), be expected to give?

It looks to me like there might be at least two different things going on here. I certainly hope that all this doesn’t result in (perhaps two) killers getting off scott free.

The reason that Tim Miller is fighting this is because NO ONE WILL WANT TO VOLUNTEER IF THEY FEEL THAT THEIR LIVES WILL BE TORN APART AND THEY MAY END UP HAVING TO TESTIFY IN A COURT OF LAW!

The area where Caylee was found was underwater when TES was there in November. It’s documented. Even a TES volunteer who was interviewed by media just HOURS after Caylee was found stated that they were not able to go in as far as where her body was found because it was UNDERWATER.

Nothing fishy about TES fighting this. Just trying to protect their volunteers, and trying to make sure that Baez does not negatively affect future searches.

I’m sure SOME here would just LOVE to divert the discussion to that mare’s nest.

Exactly.

I feel that TES is more than just Tim - although Tim created it and has poured his life into it, there are many people who also have done that and they have a very important common goal.

I know some would say that TM might well deserve anything he gets, but what he gets could very well impact victims and their families.

I think it would be smart to take a high road on the issue of Tim Miller - for the greater good.
