I bought this book and found it a really good balance of realism and inspiration. It didn't sugercoat anything, but it didn't scare or depressed me either. I came away feeling like I was in a better position to fight the disease, and I really liked the encouragement on adopting after cancer. It's something my husband and I are thinking about.
