It is highly possible that DB was taking the picture herself using a timer and she jumped into the photo at the last minute doing the gesture and others around her did the same. This would not allow time for others to jump out of the picture, and they may not have been aware of what was going on.

How many of us have been in photos with friends, or even a family photo at a wedding, where one or two idiots do a gesture or weird face that others did not know about until they saw the picture?

Simon – Please print the name and/or e-mail address of the source of the photo, or write an article about the individual who supplied the photo. This would give the source their 15 minutes of fame and would also be in fairness to everyone in the picture who were not making the gesture but their faces were not blocked out.

I think Mother Croslin threw that out, because of Ron’s Girlfriend greeting, during his interview, and perhaps because TN is letting it be known that Ronnie was just keeping close to obtain info on HaLeigh. I’m thinking Mom Croslin aint having that.

Re Hello Kitty….not sure what that has to do with my post. I’ve never seen a Hello Kitty posting at WS, nor heard of one associated with a convicted child sex offender. The point I was making was that there was a tinkerbell posting at WS who was the sister of a convicted child sex offender, and that SO apparently inserted herself in this case. I can’t see what that may have to do with your own sister and Hello Kitty???

Thanks for the link on Ron’s first visit. Seeing TN’s broken heart, is so sad. I know she probably did the best she could raising Ron., and to see him in prison for, possibly, many years is heartbreaking. She has suffered so much loss. Please, let’s pray for her.

Jan in the show on Sunday said something in the same vein as I have been thinking, that someone in this mix must be more clever than the others (not her exact words of course.) There is a lot that might indicate this.

BUT, There is something in regards to this idea that I can’t figure how to say exactly, except to start with an example: For instance, the bit about how Misty was complaining that she couldn’t even walk down the road without being afraid any more. Another blogger (Jason??) pointed out that the arrest reports say that she was walking down roads to be picked up by buyers.

Was she being deliberately misleading, (calculating), or just plain innocent / stupid? To me, this might be an example of how a lot of people might not understand how the mind of a complete narcissist works. (If she is a narcissist.) It is quite possible that she wasn’t thinking in terms of being misleading when she spoke, that it’s just a case that everything relates to her. On the other hand, she might have knowingly seized the moment to mislead at the same time. In which case, so much the better. I knew someone who did this sort of thing all the time. It was a woman. Maybe narcissistic cleverness is something apart from what we think of as I.Q. I don’t know.

You might sit there and think, with a seventeen year-old with a poor background, no education, and drug use, what you see is what you get. But, is this the case? That’s the problem.

This sort of confusion regarding intelligence level that I am attempting to describe is what you are up against in dealing with a totally narcissistic person, especially when considering things in retrospect. (She may or may not be a narcissist–I am not a psychologist. I mean IF she is that sort of person.) I am, of course, drawing on my own experience in this conclusion. And when you add drugs to the mix? I’m sure interviewing them can be, as they said, like interviewing a rock.

I watched Ron’s jailhouse interview on NG in the wee hours. I can see how some people might think he is actually a victim in this situation. I don’t think it’s shaping up that way. I’m still mulling over a couple of things, and still am on the side with those who doubt he is a victim. However, I should certainly know that truth is stranger than fiction, so I am keeping an open mind. I am really struggling with this.

One thing, I keep coming back to how TN defended this girl that she was the best girlfriend her son had ever had. Let’s say I’m considering a different slant on it now. Not convinced yet, but my mind is open.

Aside from the psychology that I BELIEVE may be involved with the Misty-Ron duo, I still think it is quite possible Misty has been getting coaching from someone at some time, and MAYBE Ron is a LITTLE more smart / clever than he lets on. It could be a case where two narcissists joined forces, perhaps this relationship, whatever it exactly is, was developing even before the disappearance of Haleigh.

Another thing: It looks (to me) like he expects compelete and total loyalty from her. The “LOYALTY TEST” as described by Mr. Miller seems to have a ring of truth to it, in my opinion. So who’s the boss? (Or supposed to be?) Maybe in the end, through sheer tenacity, she would turn the tables on him. It is a fact that women are more psychological than men. To make someone think they have won when they have actually lost — yes, I have seen this sort of coup.

I’ve heard all the bad-mouthing about the child’s mother and my opinion is, Crystal bad? No. At least (amongst other things), she was honest to the court about her prior drug use. That to me is very telling. Misty? The big problem is her age. The implications would be mind-boggling. The girl is, after all, only eighteen.

Of course there is the possibility that all this (even IF it were to turn out to be totally correct), still might just be related only to the drug stuff, and have nothing (or at least nothing direct), to do with Haleigh’s disappearance!

To me, the real question is, who is running the show. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

I think NG has taken a softer line with suspects and parents of missing kids because of her trial. I should have said her sudden soft spot for Ronald was two-fold. One was the deposition and one was for trying to get an interview, in my opinion.
