Who would have thought that two earthquakes of such magnitude could be occurring at the same time: one Earthquake all too physically destructive, the other a virtual earthquake - shaking our political fabric to its very core, and with it, destruction of the hopes and dreams of the far left.
For certain - the physical earthquake in Haiti is much, much worse. It is life and death; it is suffering, fear, despair; quick death as well as slow death by infection, stress, and dehydration. It is trapped human beings, orphaned children, and abandoned elderly. This was an event no one of conscience would wish on anyone. We care for them, and reach out and help.
But on the political landscape, there has never been an election earthquake as destructive to an administration as the one currently occurring in Massachusetts. If ones priorities are in the proper order, it isn’t anything to despair about. Those that are shaken by it will still have their lives, homes, and families. But, wrapped up in their own self-importance, many will despair all the same. After all, they are in this earthquake exactly because they were clueless to priorities. Nothing mattered to them more than their own power and pocket book. This is an event that anyone with conscience is glad to see happen. Those that cared only for themselves have been put in their place.
The Massachusetts Earthquake has occurred, whether or not Scott Brown wins. The Blue Dems have got to be reconsidering their Health Care votes. If they do not, they are mindless.
I only wish that I could be there tonight for the first real Boston Tea Party in over 200 years.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackAs we have all been glued to our TV’s and watching all the news from Haiti, we naturally feel great sorrow for those who have perished in the Quake that hit their tiny island. The death tolls peel as the bodies are being pulled one by one oot of the rubble. We are jubilant when even one person is found alive.
God Bless these people who are now suffering with their losses.
As for the Quake that hit Mass……The people of Massachuettes have spoken, LOUD AND CLEAR.
They voted for their first Republican in 47 years.
Scott Brown and his truck will be heading for Washington DC, so watch out Dems, here he comes.
2nd Earthquake has just hit Haiti - 6.1 this time
Some Earthquake.
Massachusetts, the second wealthiest State in the Union measured by Personal Income per capita, votes in a man who plans to block healthcare reform. So those who can afford private healthcare vote to deny healthcare to those who can’t. How very American…
Wow. Are you still thinking that? Does it not matter how many average middle and low income people stand up and say they aren’t buying Obama’s spiel?
Look - I’m one of those “uninsured Americans”. I am low income; I am a widow. And I don’t want this health care bill they are jamming through. In fact, I told my kids yesterday that if it passes, I’ll be one of them that disobeys the law and refuses to buy it.
This health care bill has nothing to do with helping people like me. Are you kidding me? What makes you think I can afford the price tag? Obama’s people are just spewing rhetoric, pretending that this if for us poor people. In reality - it’s about controlling people.
I can see this because I’ve lived with the Indian reservation system for 30 years. Another example of government control pretending to be government help - and making a disaster of lives while doing it.
Excuse me, my husband and I moved the kids away from the corrupt tribal system to keep them out of that garbage. Don’t make the rest of America just like the reservations.
And if it wasn’t obvious to you yesterday that most Americans aren’t buying the rhetoric, I don’t know what is going to help you. Those were regular people out there voting - not just wealthy and upper class (who, by the way, predominate the Democratic party on the East coast)
