I happened to see that report live as it came in at 5:30 AM Central time that morning....it was harrowing. You could see the disbelief and sadness in Dr Gupta's eyes. He almost looked about to burst into tears at one point. When Dr. Gupta was asked why all of the medical personnel was leaving he told about the security risks. Then the other reported asked "Well, weren't you there all night?"
Gupta: "Yes & I have seen NO VIOLENCE here...nothing. THere are people who just minutes ago came out of major surgery, left without care. There are people still on IVs. Without care for these people many will not make it through the night."
Then in typical US media fashion his transmission was cut and the station claimed his generator had run out ut that he was able to make an update just minutes later that the patients were going to at least make it through the night. I'm goingto check to see what other countries are reporting about this incident. The BBC ussually tells it like it really is.

encourage the others. Or the French version, which sounds better. The UN sucks worse than the US state dept, which is going pretty far. No excuse, with all the follow up care, they ran to save their skins. Alternately, the 82'nd should have air dropped wedsday morning, but the belges and the bosses should be ashamed and should stay in the private sector from here on in.
