If Lisa does not follow all the (negotiated) terms on Count III — The:

*18 months probation
*50 hours community service
*$1,546.00 in fines (which includes once per month fee for drug testing for 18 months)

She will be “sentenced” on Charges I & II. (Count I = UTTERING A FORGED INSTRUMENT
Count II = FORGERY)

Looks like those sentences were already negotiated. So she already knows exactly what would happen to her if she gets in trouble again. (She would also probably have a VOP in addition to Charges I & II to deal with)

I wonder what Lisa is going to do for her Community Service?

Tobias, re your 6:41 - Yes, but she was judged guilty of count III, petit theft. Adjudication on that was not withheld.
Maybe it’s part of avoiding a costly trial as well has paying for her stay in jail. I don’t know.

The taint of a felony conviction can also affect someone if he or she ever appears as a witness in a court proceeding. In Florida, a cross-examining lawyer is always permitted to ask a person who takes the witness stand if he or she has ever been convicted of a felony or a crime involving dishonesty or false statement (examples of crimes involving dishonesty or false statement are petty theft and shoplifting). But if the conviction is withheld, the lawyer cannot even ask the question.
One of the perks of haveing an adjudication of the offense. It also is expunged and after 18 mo. there will be no record of this.imho

I think what confused me was that it said “Adjudication Withheld” for Counts I and II” and ALSO said 18 months probation to run concurrently for the same counts. So it sounds like counts 1 and 2 were adjudicated (but perhaps not finalized or whatever but can be re-considered if she violates probation or something).

I don’t know. Could be a number of things. One of which is proof. Lisa returned the gun to the owner, didn’t she? And she’s the one who said Tommy took it. So if it’s a he said/she said, maybe there’s some trouble proving it was him and not her. Or it could be something else. IDK.

18 months probation on count one. Plus 18 months probation on count two (both to run at same time!)But then it says Adjudication Withheld for Counts I and II. But I guess that means those can be re-visited if she louses up.

Part of the definition that I found said:
“The court does not give a final judgment regarding the case.” So that’s why it does not make sense to me. It appears that she got 18 months probation, to run concurrently, for those two charges (counts I and II).
That’s why I’m confused.

Also, Tobias, no matter how loosey goosey the court is there about some things I’m sure it will be a different matter altogether when/if someone is charged with Haleigh’s disappearance. And of course LE should have concrete proof (hopefully) before doing so.

Thats what I’ve been saying all along its not PCSO its the judges. If they arrest someone they are out on the streets in minutes and when they go to court they get probation and /or fines. Some like Annette Sykes was dismissed altogether. PCSO knows darned well who ever took Haleigh is going to get off if they dont have concrete evidence. So I think we all need to cut them some slack for now. jmo

Yea, I am wondering how Lisa is going to pay fines,restitution, probation fees and drug tests? I wonder how long before she’s chunked back into jail for POV?

Tommy’s charges are grand theft so I hope he doesn’t get off as easy as she did and he still has the drug charges to face too. Hell, what am I saying he will get a slap on the wrist too..

I really believe the courts don’t want to lock away these repeat offenders because it keeps money flowing in the county coffers for all the crap they have to pay to the county as far as bonds, fines,etc.

Thank you for your transcript of the 911 call. As you said, it differs from other ones we’ve seen. I think with things like that, every person should hear the call themselves because often people hear things differently. Even professional (objective/totally unrelated) transcribers who provide captioning for the hearing impaired, for example, can hear things differently (from each other and/or from people involved in whatever they are transcribing) ! So I think it’s a good thing for everyone to listen and decide for themselves. Thank you for sharing what you heard.

beeping sounds in background that are NOT the beeping sound from the 911 . He mumbled something after about 8-10 beeping sounds but couldn’t make that out .

911 : tell him we got them coming , he needs to calm down a little bit . The officers are going to come out there to do what they can and we can’t have him screaming and yelling at the officers whenever they get there okay ? ?

Ronald : Give me my F-ing phone . We got better people to talk to than the mother F-ers that ain’t coming . ( 7:06 and call ends at 7:09 )

I honestly have no idea if she is dead or not , and no idea who to believe for the most part of it . I can however say that instincts are strongly telling me that something is NOT right with this whole case . But this is only my opinion .

I have read and gone over all the reasons people feel Crystal maybe involved in Haleigh’s disappearance. I understand why people wrestle with the fact she had a distant relationship with her daughter and why she did not make certain aspects of Haleigh;’s life her business. Then there was the Geraldo all about Ronald carried out by Crystal her self. For those who needed a vent some where some one to be angry at over this horrific crime that bashing of Ronald served as an excellent out let. For those who desired the focus to remain on Haleigh it infuriated them. Cobra and his being hired by Crystal’s Lawyer and Crystal’s lawyer her self was enough to completely take the focus off Haleigh. IMHO it is impossible for a parent to embrace every part of their child if that parent holds animosity on any level towards the other biological parent. No matter what the circumstances are no matter how little or much the other parent is involved in the child’s life there will always be things and features that are similar of that other biological parent. The difference between seeing those things as a something not wanted to be seen or embraced as a beautiful part of them is the main link in having a healthy and whole relationship or a broken and wounded one.. Specialist can teach copying skills, positive parenting in what ever the situation is. IMHO it is impossible to love every part of a child if that parent holds animosity towards a part of who they are, the other parent is a part of who they are. That true unconditional love can only be accomplished through complete forgiveness of that other parent. That parent has to want it, mean it and fight over their own self to find it, the only way there is through God. IMHO Crystal did have a strained relationship as a result of her unresolved anger and animosity towards Ronald but I find nothing that convinces me she had anything to do with her daughters disappearance.

Yes, tracking dogs were brought in to track HaLeigh that first night. If you view the police report, it gives a “partial” track that the dogs followed. (Parts of it are blacked out, although, if you map it out, you can figure out that the dogs went down Tyler Street- Not sure why they tried to “hide” that?)

I know the LE stated they used cadaver dogs to search for Haleigh, obviously they used the dogs to go through Ronald’s home which would indicate Haleigh was alive when she was removed from the home. IMHO that would mean she was alive for a period of time some where. Did the Police use dogs that search for living humans there are dogs trained for that as well. Did Police find out what vehicles Haleigh had not been in that belonged or belongs to family, acquaintances and neighbours. Have LE picked up those vehicles and had them searched by dogs that look for living beings. Should there be a vehicle she in no way was connected with but a dog hit on it that would make it very hard for the owner of that vehicle to explain that. Did they also try this with neighbours homes? As for Baby Gabriel I have always thought he was killed by his Mother her behaviour is consistent with a mind capable of such a horrible selfish act. I heard it said she used phony ID I wonder if she placed the baby in his diaper bag and then in a shipping box or container went to a local town or other station than the one she left by and shipped the child out and he is bouncing around as a result of a phony address filled out by phony ID. Sounds horrible but I would not put it past this “entity” aka the baby’s mother.

I also wanted the posters the other day who were talking about Rons stop at the store to get beer. While doing a backtrack on this I found out he stopped at the Handy mart in San Mateo and it was on the way home. I googled the map and saw it was not out of his way .Just thought this info might help you.

Tobias, whether the custody battle showed “hate” on the part of the Sheffields or not, I’m not sure. But it launched a very public onslaught of pretty bad personal attacks of every kind (from a spokesperson/lawyer all the way to bloggers - including Marie & Friends), against him. And even then, as ThunderBunny said, I did not see such comments or retaliation on Ron’s part.

Someone mentioned about the LE concerned about Misty and her demeanor the night Haleigh went missing . Could that be the reason that the Drug Squad was brought into the trailer the night it happened . It was on the video they were showing the night the Mondex Pond was being drained , although I cannot find the link for it , I do know what I seen as being on one of the news stations during their online segments . No I cannot remember which one , I do recall a blonde lady talking in it though . I had wondered then why the DEA , and Drug Enforcement were called into a missing child’s case UNLESS they indeed suspect it was due to it and or they did find some evidence of drug use within the home . IDK , I just know that it was shown in one of the video’s .
I also think that the answer to Haleigh’s demise is within the background of the 911 call , strictly what Ronald was saying in the background and not what the operator or Misty was saying . I also believe the last piece of the puzzle to solve this case is finding Haleigh herself , whether it be dead or alive I think that’s the piece they need to put it all together . I also think that the LE are trying to make sure that whoever is charged in the long run that they will not get off with a technicality. I could be wrong but this is just my opinion . I do hope that they find this child and that justice is served for HER.
It will be a year since she has disappeared and it’s been a year of pain for her . She deserves to be brought home and deserves to be heard . This is all about HALEIGH and the players involved needs to think of her instead of themselves throughout it all , unfortunately it’s not happening .
Correct me if I am wrong but this jerome person that was involved at the beginning , is he the same one that was picked up this morning and shown on the putnam log ??? Or am I seeing things ???
I wonder if the LE are getting tired of Ronald getting off on charges with little or no punishment ?? Somewhere along the way the horseshoe he has stuck up so far inside of him with eventually fall out , as well as the Cummings and Croslin’s families . Luck only goes so far before it runs out , I guess time will tell .

There is a one year vigil planned if HaLeigh is not home. I know that the family is very hopeful it will not be needed and HaLeigh will be home with them. I cannot imagine how horrible this past year has been for her family. All these “firsts”: First Christmas without HaLeigh there, first birthday without her, etc. I’m praying there will not be a 1 year anniversary without her home, no matter how unlikely it seems.

I’m with you in hopes that the people of Satsuma will also do something to honor HALEIGH. She was, afterall, a member of their town. I hope no one will allow her to be forgotten until she is HOME!

Thunderbunny, He has said very little about anyone in any interview. He did say in his last interview on Nancy Grace that he did question Mistys story. What I find interesting is the fights and arguements are not with any of the Sheffields, they are with Mistys family.
All of the soap opera events around the case have involved the Croslins. If there were hard feelings between Ron and Crystal there sure is nothing to prove it,ie no fights, no battery,nothing to show hate for each other at all. Even the custody battle really didnt show real hatred on either side. jmo

Well I wonder how many of the media will show up in Satsuma on the 10th of Feb.? Will any of the people involved in this case show up and have a vigil or memorial? It should be very eye opening that day to see what will be said and who wont be there to say anything. At the 6 birthday LE had alot to say will they have a presser? Will the parents show up? Will Misty be there with the Cummings family? The christmas vigil was not attended by certain people and where are the towns people?
I was disappointed that the citizens of Satsuma did nothing on Christmas for Haleigh or her families? Are they ready to move on as a town and if so do they feel safe for their children? IT JUST BAFFLES ME, WE HAVENT GIVEN UP BUT FROM WHAT I SEE SATSUMA HAS.JMO

One small thing just rather stuck with me today, Bugout.. you made reference to RC’s repeated rageful incidents, chasing people in cars (heard his engine revving past CJ (althought you wrote TJ) that night you could hear the pedal to the metal) the fury and anger on the 911 call instead of outright FEAR.

My question, unless you were there, having actual knowlege of any of these occurances.. That you point only in the direction of Ron..

Very easy to point fingers at one specific person when all your interested in is the gossip you hear.. Do you think that CJ had a good reason to set a fire at his home? And that he told the truth when he was arrested and convicted.. Do you think that CJ had brought a gun into play in this incidence without the thought of using it?? Why would he be asking if he could legally shoot Ron?? If Ronald did not have a gun with him that night.. then CJ lied!! If he would lie about one thing, why wouldn’t he be lying about another.. You need to go back and really check the story..

Why in any of the videos of interviews, are there never tears in Crystal’s eyes?

You find terrible fault towards Ron, in his emotions, showing Anger first, Emotional collapse, Tears.. you claim cannot be real..

Well, how did you react when your Child was stolen from her bed?? Oh, maybe you haven’t gone through this terror! But, of course you automatically know how people should react, Correct?

If all that you have is passed on the trash you have read and the gossip, you are doing yourself and injustice.. Because is not making you look like you’ve done your homework.. Gossip is a terrible thing, especially when people cannot see the truth, they feed on Gossip and they hate because of the gossip.. Somewhere down the line.. they will learn the truth.. What worries me about statements like “we’re getting close” (LawShrink - well-intentioned or not) or that someone “knows” something (especially when a particular area is mentioned) is: that could alarm the kidnapper. Then what could happen? They’d move her or worse.

I know it’s a very long shot that whoever could be responsible is reading this board but word can get out to all kinds of people and places. So that’s the main reason that concerns me. Haleigh’s safety. What and when I know or think or hope is not important.

Personally, I don’t care about my hopes being raised or dashed. I’m the only one who can control my hopes and if it helped bring Haleigh home people could slam my hopes all day long.

In fact if someone really does have – or thinks they have – a real lead, then I would hope to be among the last to know. “Last” as in after LE has found her. That’s much better than tipping off the kidnapper.

PS. The kind of statements and claims I’m referring to are like the ones discussed last night and are very different from our discussions of theories or talking about where family members and others live.

It is really difficult for anyone with a heart to sit and wait for an answer to what happened to little HaLeigh. I know everyone wants information, is she alive, where is she, is she coming home and when? With the sad anniversary of her abduction looming ahead I think we are all hyper-sensitive but we need to remember that we are all here for a reason, to help the little ones who cannot help themselves, who cannot speak for themselves.

Let’s do what Anne suggested and write letters, send emails and try again to get someone’s attention. It worked the last time we hit them with letters. Maybe we can get a bigger response this time.

I really feel she is alive. This has become a mission to save the children, not just HaLeigh but all of them.

You know searching around,I happen to read a comment from a poster on SM who said Brandon O,Misty’s cousin is living in Tn with Brandon Frye’s aunt.This is not true Brandon O is still in Michigan and it’s Brandon Fryer,not Frye,and is in prison for two years,starting last October.Brandon Fryer was the “gangsta boy”,friend of Joe’s,who we have not found out if he actually did go to Florida,or not.There is so much misinformation that people post,it’s hard to seperate fact from fiction.
