At last, some sanity.  Rupert Murdoch is “pulling the plug on a book and two part TV interview with Simpson.

I seriously sympathize with Regan for wanting to publish what she thought was a confession of Simpson’s murdering his wife and her friend because of what she went through, I realize that the best thing here is to not allow any more money to fall into the hands of the killer.

“I and senior management agree with the American public that this was an ill-considered project,” Murdoch said.
Yes, Mr. Murdoch it was.  But seriously, now, the reactions of the Goldman family is also an ill-considered project.  I frankly urge the Goldman’s to get a grip.  It has been over 10 years and I want to send a personal message to them… “Forgive!  Forgive, the creep.  Yes, he did a terrible thing, but you must move on and you must forgive.  Carrying this hate and this terrible anger is ruining the rest of your lives.  What you are doing is allowing O.J. Simpson to control what you think, what you say, how you react.  You said,
“The Goldmans acknowledge that while News Corp has now accepted responsibility for its deplorable decisions made in the past, it does not undo the damage to the families of the victims,” the family said.
“The Goldmans look forward to continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding this book deal and holding those persons accountable who may have acted in concert with Simpson to defraud the Goldmans.”
I understand the misery.  I understand the pain.  I also understand what that does to a person… the weight of it all becomes almost unbearable and it destroys any peace of mind you may have because you are consumed by anger at a person and at an event.  The person will, absolutely will receive his just reward.  The event is long in the past and cannot be changed.  But, you can change the future.  You can take back control of your life and your thoughts.  You can lead your children into a better life than one of bitterness and hatred.  Shake off those chains.  Unlock those shackles.  You are only hurting yourselves and you are leaving a legacy that cannot help anyone, it will only leave harm… a harm that is most likely worse than what happened to Nicole.
