You make some very valid points….especially about withdrawl symptoms from Coke & oxy/Roxy. The pills are synthetic HEROIN. Just becasue it doesn’t come straight from a Poppy plant doesn’t mean it isn’t addictive like regular heroin. There are classic withdrawl symptoms from herion (synthetic or otherwise). The only way to stop them from occurring is either “hair of the dog that bit you” aka more oxy/roxy OR morphine. I had an uncle who was in Nam. He used heroin when off-duty and they would come back and “pop” a morphine ampule and suffer no withdrawls or ill effects. It would make them puke right away, then all was good. BTW heroin will also make you puke when first taken. Oxy/Roxy also.
Misty will always be circumspect in my book, no matter what. Everyone else may not be but she IS.
Some say follow the money….I say take a good listen to the original 911 call audio. He says some things to her (that I’m sure LE have alreasy heard and analysed) that should raise some questions to the validity of her story as well as makes one wonder what else he has kept silent about, if anything.

I have been following this case from the beginning and the first thing that struck me and has never left my thoughts is the fact that the first interviews I saw of Misty crying in that high pitched barely intelligible voice, where there was no eye contact, was that she constantly said “I loved that little girl” and used past tense to refer to Haleigh. She also never said the child’s name. She kept saying things like “I was like her mother, I loved her, etc.” but never just flat out looked at the camera and said “Haleigh I miss you and if you can see this find a way to find a phone, but get home!” She was telling a story to me not calling out for the safe return of this child.

It was what she didn’t say that was so telling. I know she was coming off a drug binge and one thing about the favored xanax is that is causes amnesia in high doses, maybe she truly didn’t remember a lot but she sure knew that “She lovED that little girl”.

I just cannot get over that. With everything else, the fact that she didn’t immediately call 9-11, the fact that she couldn’t get her story straight either, the house was spotless, beds were perfectly made, didn’t look as though the house was even lived in let alone a child was just stolen!

Something stinks really bad with this case. I really think the accidental overdose theory is a very feasible one. A lot of druggies give their kids Benadryl when they want them to knock out so they can party, you can give a child an overdose of that too. Not sure how accurate a dose measurer would be coming off of polydrugging for a weekend straight. Especially since the cravings for more would have been so strong, she would’ve had the shakes, the sweats, very cranky, very high strung, lights, noises, everything would bother her. One more thing about coming off of drugs: insomnia. If she wasn’t using, she would not have been able to sleep, what-so-ever.

I have peripheral neuropathy and was on Duragesic patches but became allergic to them so they took me off of them, the dose of the alternate drug given wasn’t high enough and I had withdrawal symptoms, when I say they were bad, that is an understatement. I had to go to the hospital, I was going crazy! That is why I refuse to use those meds anymore, no way will I have something like that run my life. Imagine if I was a heavy duty Oxy head like these guys are.

My cousins ex-fiance went into a rage and almost choked her to death because he couldn’t score any oxycontin and he used 3 of the 80mg tabs per day. It only took him 4 hours to start acting really crazy. Imagine this woman, mad at RC, left with these kids, especially one she had to spank sometimes to “keep her in line”, wanting drugs, getting the cravings, the stomach cramps, the shakes, and sweats, dizziness, extreme fatigue, pain, and just being really out of sorts having to deal with arguments with RC on the phone, probably because she wanted to score and he wanted her to stay home with the kids, and she just wanted drugs.

I can see why she would resort to having someone, anyone bring her something. What did she have to pay with? Her body. If the reports about JR saying the couch was bouncing is accurate, most likely that is what happened, she had sex for drugs to stop the massive withdrawal. When someone is in the state, nothing else matters.

For all we know, RC snitched on this person or their boss in the past (if he was/is a narc)and they were waiting for a chance to get back at him. Once Misty was comatose, they seized the opportunity and took the child.

That is how the “B****” got his child stole. Any a number of things happened, but Misty is the most logical the link. There is no humanly way possible that she came off that binge with such intense withdrawal that most definitely occurs that she had no ill effects and just did laundry, put the kids to bed, and played Suzy Homemaker like a big girl.

These are my opinions but knowing how bad withdrawal can be, and knowing she couldn’t go to a hospital which is what she really needed not more drugs, she had to get the fix and this was the cost.

Of course she won’t admit that. If you were raised in that situation and had the heavy addiction she does, would you?

This child died because of drug abuse. The people who introduced her to the addicts and dealers are completely responsible. Anyone who knew what was happening and didn’t stop it, is completely responsible. She didn’t stand a chance. I hope Daddy can clean himself up for Jr’s sake. That little boy deserves a fighting chance to be a better man than those around him turned out to be.

I live in a gated community up north and alot of seniors are snow birds they leave right after Christmas and return around the end of March or early April. There was a gap in the disapearences and murder of Somer T. just a theory I have been looking at. jmo

In the somer case I think this person watched for the opportunity, was there in the area for days before they took her, and has anyone notice the days are 10 in the2 of the 3 unsolved cases?
Jan. 10- Feb. 10- Oct. 19 are there any more in the area? And the months , those are months that snow birds from other areas come down to florida. Just thinking of possibilities. jmo

-misty was really zonked out,
-the tv was left on so noise from a intruder might be partially muted
-and if ron and misty were used to children sleeping in their room, they might not notice movement as much when sleeping.

——-sooo WAS someone able to come into a “noise-making” mobile home.
- maybe someone who was observing them that week.
- maybe even with all the “ta do” that week, everyone was distracted or less likely to notice if someone was watching them.
- or smone very good at being able to blend in to community or area
- and don’t forget - next door m.h was empty. (maybe someone was goin in e.m.h. or empty m.h. just made it easier to hide in that yard.
- or it was someone known to haleigh herself. so could have lured her out somehow?

***all possible. .but, i do see why le and others say not a stranger abd. .a awful lot of ifs, for that to have happened. so i am thinking more possible by someone known to family or haleigh. (of course, if it was even a 1/10 of 1% chance and it is you, well then statistics don’t mean anything to you.)

in my opinion it just seems unlikely to have happened the way m & r said. or maybe they have a unusually quiet m.h. and m.c. just happened to wake when r.c. was nearly home and her intincts didn’t tell her to call police (not even for her own or r.jr.’s safety)till r.c. told her to.

note: if it was a stranger abduction, the stranger might be familiar with similar or same m.h. - not necc. that m.h. itself. .in this particular case, the mobile home had recently been advertised on the internet for rent with pics of the inside rooms iirc

i remember polly saying (she had lived in a m.h.), she thought to much noise for a intruder coming in and not waking misty up, especially coming into the same room and maybe even up to the same bed. so that is why some have trouble believing an abduction happened. by a known or an unknown person to the family or to haleigh herself. at least out of the m.h.

gd mrn holly’s, i too have/am wondering about a possible connection between the two cases. i have been hoping fbi, le, or pcso or somer’s pol. dept have made an attempt with the families to see if they have anyone in common, if that is possible to do. even if they don’t (hve smone in comm) i still wonder if it is the same person that targeted these two children. yes it is terrible to think about.

I think we need to look into Somer & Haleigh’s abductors having a Jacksonville connection. Didn’t Crystal live with a man in Jax? He would have been around Haleigh at some point or even just seen a picture. He might have become fixated. Then he found Somer….I hate to think so, but it is still a possibility. Maybe not the guy Crystal lived with, could be a friend or relative of his, maybe a neighbor they had….I know many don’t want to make a connection due to Somer being found murdered. I understand, It’s a hard road to go down ,even just to theorize, but don’t we owe it to both girls to find out for sure. Maybe Deinda & Crystal had a friend in common, male, I’m sure. Were they ever neighbors? Surely it would have been mentioned if they had ever met. Just thinking out loud…..

No argument, as there is nothing to argue with. I just cant believe that anyone so brazen to have done what he/she/they did (possibly including murder-intentional or not) and not have confessed by now has any feelings of guilt or discomfort whatsoever, and after one year certainly would have no fear of getting caught. If indeed it was a child predator/sociopath, the high of not getting caught may be lifted more by the constant public attention to the case. The only ones that I see that would love for us to go away is LE—who after one year are no closer to finding Haleigh than the night she disappeared. LE would love the media scrutiny of their competence to go away.

Anyone with the audacity to enter a home and kidnap a child while an adult and another child are present (or even to kidnap a child, regardless of who is present), does not care if we are writing about his/her/their crime. In fact, a sociopath will get a high off of our attention. The more that is written about the crime, the greater the high.

M2c, You say I always bash Misty and Ron. At no point will you ever find in my posts that I say Ron or Misty hurt Haliegh. I believe they may have indirectly been involved by knowing the person responcible or in Mistys case be covering for the person who did this. In no way do I think they harmed Haleigh knowingly.
At one point I even stuck up for Ron when someone said he used drugs. I know you can not be on drugs and work at PDM Bridge as a crane opperator drug tests are extemely accurate now.
And anything I have said about either person
is my opinion as to their behavior when there is an incident involving them.jmo

I also have researched robberys and home invassions. Usually the person robbing will watch for a pattern (like when people leave and when the house is unoccupied) in which to get in and get out without detection. This would apply but these people have no set pattern to their lives. People are in and out,awake and asleep at differing hours. One of the Grandmas said they leave the TV on at night alot. That is the main reason I do not believe this was a stranger, this person knew so much before they even entered the MH that night. And remember Ron had only lived there for a couple of months and had only been on night shift for 4-5 weeks. jmo

This is not the first child abduction to be reported in the media and its not the first for LE they have to follow all leads even if they are of the families. I am sure they have researched all of the past abductions and have formed a guide to follow in an investigation.
These are trained and educated people, they know what they are doing. If it appears they do not, it may be because they cant get any of these parties to tell the truth. And I feel that if the families want her to be found they will endure any questioning no matter how painful. Teresa Neves even said she would give anything but her children and grandchildren, I believe she would. But I also believe she does not know anything about what happened. Others do and will lie to cover other secrets they have that they dont want made public. And some that may be lying to stay out of jail. That is my opinion and I dont believe I am alone in it.
Who had opportunity, who knew where she slept,
who knew Ron would be at work, who knew where the bricks were in the yard,who knew Misty either slept sound or was not there, who knew the area well,and who knew there were no dogs in the area that would bark,and who knew how to make it look like a SO ? JMO

IMHO I think this LE department is afraid of what the truth may present if it is not Misty. I think they are very afraid of the possibility that if someone took Haleigh and was holding her for a while & then did the unthinkable will that present how they possibly failed in initial searches? I think they are afraid of it not being Misty which would leave them looking foolish after all their media rants. I think their own concerns for their own selves has taken priority over what needs to be the first priority “finding Haleigh” no matter what or whom it reveals. As an every day person out there being asked to take in what they put out there I am rather insulted. I’m insulted that they are using the media to gather up bias support based on bias presentations of highly questionable claims and sources. Do they really think the public is that stupid? What about the importance of Justice? What about not placing Justice at risk for the victim for the families and the community why are they even using the media the way they have? Their behaviour to me seems desperate and completely disregarding right & wrong, the need for Justice to fairly run its course so we remain a civil and humane society. They are suppose to be the for most face of that message yet they are in their own actions completely diminishing the importance of that message. This team of who ever it is has a lot to look at if they are capable of looking at the possibility they messed up then they have a chance at finding Haleigh. As for emotional tolls on LE I understand it must be hard however emotional tolls make for foggy vision and reactions. They can cry once she is found until then they are the anchor and need to be 100% professional, sounds cold but that is just how it is.

That would seem like good questions however no one knows Haleigh was in her bed. Even if she was several cases have transpired where a child was in their room with whole families in the house and the child taken by complete strangers how were they done? Baby Brandon was in his crib in his parents room taken while bio Mom slept and taken by two people how was that done? Polly Klass, Jessica Lunsford, & numerous others while the parent/parents slept through it. Never under estimate the capabilities of a predator. Wait for facts this could turn out to be a neighbour. IMO either LE has completely new information on some one not affiliated with the families at least not personally or they have another whack up crack story like the Tommy CROSLIN NONSENSE or have a lead by questionable grounds. Bond for free for exchange of info that can’t be substantiated & they are hoping for another to substantiate it & it will never happen or they are flat out full of BS. I find it interesting that the 911 dispatcher tells Jones she does not have the authority & cannot advice on legal matters yet the LE says the dispatcher handled the call alright because she gave excellent legal advice and knows the law. hmmm lol What bad liars they are. Further to that is the issue that the questioned asked to be addressed is the obvious lack of regard on behalf of the dispatcher regarding the children however that is not the question they answered or even remotely touched on, WOW. Yes these families have every right to want the FBI to take full control ASAP Please!!!!

I tried to read each of the responses to this blog. One thing that caught my eye and I think is probably far more important than the syntax that Ronald used the night of the 911 call(I don’t mind others discussing it, I’m just not sure if it is as important as something else I saw here)—someone up there^^^^ pointed out— That if we go with the scenario that Haleigh was removed from her bed while Misty slept a few feet away. How did the person that broke in, know that Misty would not hear them coming in the screen door, how would that know that she would not hear them come through the back door itself and prop it open? How would they know that she would sleep while the crept down the hall, into the master bedroom (how did they know that Haleigh slept in that room?) and lift her, and carry her out without Misty waking up? How did they know they could do all that and Misty wouldn’t hear a word? Interesting.

We have to stand United and strong. There’s not hardly any place available on the net that isn’t bashing Ron and Misty, the Cummings to a horrible degree daily. I come here because I can read and discuss openly and fairly everyone’s opinions on all the aspects of this blank case of missing Haleigh.

We have to talk reasonably with each other, please, I beg you. There’s no where else I can go read and post about this case that isn’t mericlessly destroying this side of the family. It’s hurtful, wrong and one day many will suffer as they have caused this family and honest innocent citizens like ourselves to endure by caring about this case.

I’ve seen all the posters here be above the fray of stalking agenda posters, with the exceptions of the trolls and haters, who Jan quickly bans and deletes inappropriate attacking posts. We can get along, for Haleigh and her families sake. For our own solace and sovereinty. Peace.

When we talk about those we feel maybe involved, especially any family member, we can get our points across and not be disrespectful in the process. Our points can be made professionally with better zeal and passion than being writer haters. We’re above that.

As always, praying for HaLeigh. So sad that we are coming upon a year & we “seem” no closer to finding this precious child than we were on day 1. I’d LOVE to think LE knows SOMETHING — ANYTHING… but when I hear things like LE brought in Charlie Jones to question HIM… it makes me feel like they don’t know a whole lot. SAD… SO, SO SAD!

Poor HaLeigh. The devastation that her family (the innocent ones) must be feeling breaks my heart.

M2C ya gotta stop taking it all so personal. We all seem to be OK with different theories, except you. I see Tobias trying to politely decline your point of view, only to have you reiterate it again. And again. For days now. I lose my patience just scrolling past the posts, I can’t imagine if it was aimed at me. I do respect your point of view and have been reading your posts here long before joining.

Ron and Misty do deserve the benefit of the doubt, we all agree. Most actions/events of the players in this case can be explained by multiple scenarios. But it doesn’t mean that we can’t analyze what they say and do. Because Haleigh deserves the truth and if I feel like RC is lying, then I feel like RC is lying. Your opinion won’t change my mind. (hypothetical situation)

ETA: Still haven’t been able to find anywhere credible to link to where le confirms RC’s original story of being the one to pick up Haleigh from the bus.

Blue Moon, I have not blogged on here all week because of the bickering that has been going on here but since you mentioned me I think I should respond. I thank you and know what you said was a compliment to me, so please know that I appreciate that and what I am about to say is not against you. I know you aren’t on here much and probably haven’t seen the whole picture. M2c has blogged on here much longer than myself, Tobias or Hollysgmom. For the months that I have been on here she, Paw69 and Vaquera have been some of the kindest and fairest posters on here. I can see if you were just reading a few of the current blogs that you might think m2c is picking at someone but that has not been the case. For the past few weeks there has been such an agenda to BASH Ron & Misty and blame them for EVERYTHING she has spent many of her post defending them, just trying to bring the blog back into some kind of balance. It has gotten to be such a Ron bashing blog that she is about the only one left on here that stands up for him or tries to keep an open mind or a balanced debate. If you have kept up with her ideas and theories all along she does NOT necessarily think Ron or Misty are innocent, she just wants us to keep in view the FACT that there is NO evidence against them. Until there is, we need to be open to other options or theories. Many of the post lately make statements as though they are facts that are just not based on truth. I just wanted to let you know how I see what has been going on here. This is just my opinion and I appreciate you letting me tell you.

This is an open forum, and it is also a public forum—meaning that anyone in the world can see comments left here. That includes Haleigh, should the most positive outcome occur. It also includes Haleigh’s relatives and friends, who love her dearly, and are devestated that she is gone. There should be some respect for these individuals, as again this is PUBLIC forum. That said, I do agree that until Haleigh is found…EVERYONE needs to be a suspect. That much should be a given. Yes, anyone of the players, and/or complete strangers may have taken her. We simply do not have enough evidence to point in ANY direction. As a result, everyone’s theories are as good as anyone elses. Maybe LE have more evidence that they are not releasing, maybe they dont. The point is there is not evidence in public domain to be certain about ANYTHING. Yes, we can theorize about anyone and anything, but lets remember again that the players are hurting, and until someone is convicted, all the players deserve our prayers and respect.

In the divorce paperwork it states (re Ron’s white truck he was driving the nut of the incident with CJ.. because he was not driving the 85 truck, he was driving the truck with the “writing on it”, as CJ stated, which is the 1995 model)

Tobias, you know what YOU would do and what YOUR kids would do. There are a lot of different people in this world and they don’t all react the same. In fact some adults would purposely keep their voices calm in order not to scare the children but I’m not claiming that M did that. Just saying some people would. And no I don’t think kids make noise every second except maybe when on a ride at a theme park. Once in a while they breathe, sleep, eat etc.

Tobias - A lot of people don’t always put kids in car seats. I know and they know that it’s against the law but they still do it. So that is not enough reason for me to decide for a fact that Misty is lying - nor is the fact that we can’t hear the children. Neither Misty nor Ron were yelling. All the kids knew was that the car was swerving (if they weren’t sleeping). And if you want to believe the children were scared, well I”ve seen little ones so scared they did not utter a sound.
So again, to me, not enough for me to make that decision.
Please understand that I am open to these things as possiblities. I just can’t make a final decision as quick as you do.

Just the other day I contributed to discussions about R being responsible and then CJ and then said it could have been typical testosterone-based road rage between two guys!
I also said that I do not think we have enough info to really blame either one. So my mind is still open on that until more info comes out!

I can believe (or hope, really) that official statements of times and events that LE checked out are true. It does not mean that I have to think they’ve investigated this whole case thoroughly from the start or haven’t goofed up or covered up (possibly their own mistakes). Tobias, there are several possibilities.
One is that CJ knew Misty was in the truck with R and that’s what p’d him off to start with! So calling him would make him even madder. Or CJ did NOT know she was in the truck and that would make him madder.

And also, gosh knows you think every word out of her mouth is a lie, so maybe CJ would not believe her about having kids in the car. I mean what’s he going to do? Say, “Oh, gosh. So sorry. Let’s schedule this for another day?” LOL! Probably not when he’s that angry and the adrenaline is pumping.

curious, that’s been one of the big problems throughout this. LE states something and some people choose not to believe it!

I’ve never seen a case like this - where that happens. I’m not saying people don’t have a right to doubt LE but in this case particularly where we have NO info or evidence or statements pertinent to this case, we have less than nothing if we discount LE and then have to pick and choose who’s telling the truth about what.

So that really leave us with NO stepping stones to cross this roaring river!

I still would like to know how 2 adults and 2 kids get in a single cab truck and CJ doesnt see Misty in the truck. How do you get that many people in that truck. I own a extended cab,not a dual cab ( mine has jump seats)and there is no way you can get more than three people up front.Especially with a car seat. jmo

mariesilk, you are right. If Ron lied about it I don’t know why. And I don’t know why LE would explicity say that he did pick up Haleigh that day. I think Shoemaker was saying that Ron is usually early for work. Maybe he wasn’t that day. Maybe just on time.

Either way, I sure hope that LE was able to find out what time R got off work. That end of things seems more important to me. If the workers have to “clock out” then it seems like there’d be a record of it, that PDM would know for sure.

But lies or not, just the previous characters/history of some of these folks - nearly all - are not admirable. Poor Haleigh.
It doesn’t mean any of them are responsible for what happened to her but she was in a rough crowd. That’s one of the things that can make a child more vulnerable to all sorts of bad things happening.

The fib about who picked up Haleigh may have no bearing on her disappearance, but it does go to show how these people operate. They have discredited themselves in my eyes.

Ron worked 8 hour shifts. 4-12, normal hours. If he went to work at 5, he wouldn’t be done 8 hours till 1 am. All reports say Ron was usually done at 12. A half hour drive to PDM and Shoemaker told us he was early. No time ot wait around for a bus at 3:30. No one has confirmed a start time, and that is what makes it so fishy. When did Ron leave for work, when did he start and how long was he there for? And why lie to begin with? Its seems a very stupid thing to lie about.

Run a KBB on the total value of all three vehicles. The combined total is almost nothing. Less than $5,000 on all 3. The 1985 truck won’t even pull up a value it is so old. If you do some research, only one of the three vehicles runs.

yes Tobias, and I as you would be selling them to try and raise the money for a PI, too. But some people don’t think that far ahead, or maybe they do and realize it’s pointless. IDK, everyhting about the case has been so puzzling from the get go, it’s hard to imagine what is going through people’s heads.
