My mom used to say “The squeaky wheel gets the attention.” So that’s what we need to be individually and together - to be sure we’re heard.

I am new here. Just wanted to thank you for remembering these angels. I contacted a Maryland state official just yesterday regarding the need for tougher laws for predators. I have also posted an article about the Maryland girl on a large Catholic website pleading for people to write to their state legislators. We must do something for these kids immediately. I will do whatever I can.

I am very concerned about little Shannon Dedrick as the judge in the case is considering returning her to the family. I pray for her safety constantly. May God bless all babies and all children. Hope you all have a safe New Year.

Just as an example, please see my posts above at 8:17pm and 8:20 pm. You can contact the Maryland State Senator with your support even if you don’t live in Maryland.

And you can also contact your own state politicians to demand stronger penalties, no parole etc for those who hurt children.

I’m going to send the link to the article in the 8:20 pm post to my state politicians and ask them to do the same!

Something HAS to be done to keep these SOs off the streets and like MD State Senator Nancy Jacobs said: “We need to have a public outcry.”

We can all cry out for changes wherever we live.

This stuff is killing my heart and I don’t even know where to begin to change things to make our children safer in the world. My heart is so broken.

I too am glad that Simon & Jan have taken some time “off” to take care of themselves, each other, and their personal lives so that they can continue to help pave a way for positive change for these children & others.

We certainly are much like a family here @ BNN. Just like our in life families, we sometimes disagree or agrue but at the heart we still care for one another.

I pray that Haleigh will be found soon & that justice will be served for all children whether kidnapped, abused, or murdered.

Thanks so much for your note. I’m okay. Just taking this time to think about the past year and figure out ways to make the new one better in many ways - including personally and on BNN.

I see such potential in this group of people. The potential to encourage each other to do things independently in our own areas and together - perhaps by supporting national organizations for example.

If we can just find a way to trust and respect each other a little more - even when we disagree - and aim our attention, anger and energy on things we can do to enlighten judges, juries, and parole boards and to change the laws to keep these evil people off the streets!
I hope in the New Year that we’ll be able to do that together.

I know that some things will take time and a lot of pressure to get it done. But in the end, it will all be worth it.

Maryland State Senator Nancy Jacobs plans on introducing new bills in the upcoming legislative session in response to Sarah Foxwell’s story.

She says she’s working on a number of bills aimed at tougher sentences for convicted child sex offenders and eliminating good time credits in prison to earn early release; a benefit that works against mandatory minimum sentences.

“Sex offenders are usually very quiet model citizens who can’t wait to get out because their audience isn’t in jail with them, it’s children out in the street.”

Jacobs argues that states should share information on offenders and every crime, should follow the offender in every state. Better communication matched with tougher laws the senator hopes will help prevent what happened to Sarah Foxwell.

I wanted to take a moment and tell you all how much we appreciate your kind words to us over what we do on here. Without your support BNN would not be a success that it is. I only wish it was over different circumstances.

We do all need to take a step back and take a deep breath here. We have all grown as a family over the past year and a half. We have gotten to know some of you pretty well on here. I want you all to know how much it means to us that you all have worked so hard trying to help find these little angels that are missing.

Pinkey32/Humbled I pray you can find some peace. I can imagine learning of what happened to Sarah Haley Foxwell hit you pretty hard being so close to home. My prayers will be with you as well.

Simon and I have not given up on our mission to keep these children’s names in print til they are found. So you can bet we will be back on this case regardless what some of the the others are saying about us. Maybe the ones that are so quick to accuse us of giving up would like to pay our bills so we won’t have to work for a living and then we can stay on these cases 24 hours a day. If not then please quit condemning us for missing a radio show so we could take a weekend off to spend with our family and take care of other much needed things to do that has been neglected over the past few months.

I’d like to add that I know some of our BNN family have serious personal issues of their own that they are trying to cope with and at the same time are supporting efforts to help children in need. I hope you know that most of us here support you, too, and keep you in our prayers.

My heart goes out especially right now to Pinkey32/Humbled who lives only minutes away from the home of 11 year old Sarah Foxwell who was abducted and murdered right before Christmas.

The loss of any child is a terrible blow but little Sarah’s hit particularly close to home for Pinkey. So my prayers are with you, Pinkey and your family, and Sarah’s family and your community.

My hope is that we can find a way to help them in the New Year - possibly by giving our support to the renewed efforts of leaders in that area (Maryland and Delaware) who are working to strengthen the laws and penalties for crimes against children. We can help.

Hi Cent!! glad you were encouraged by Kool and the documentary. It is so true that sometimes when we are down we can look around us and it helps to put our problems in perspective and like you said challenge us not to give up.

You are correct, this morning I wanted to give up (personal issues)… I flicked the channels and came across a documentary on Holocaust survivor Gerda Weissmann-Klein. Then I thought who the hell am I to throw in the towel… time to rest my soul. It’s amazing how you can draw strength from other’s TRUE words.

With it, we grow strong and stronger. We have that down time to reflect, mourn, cry, laugh and come up with new ideas for the days to come. Many fail because they don’t see or understand the need for this revival/restoration. It’s brings jubilation. The spirit has to have it’s alabaster jar filled back up, when it’s constantly pouring out into this earth.

Good job Jan and Simon, for your Christmas Holiday rest. Your family deserves it, and your souls yearn for it. You can’t give when your cup runneth empty. Re-fuel, nourish your mind body and souls and start fresh.

IF you were paying attention you would know that Simon announced last week in a message to everyone, there would be no show today!! I remind you to check your information before you shoot your mouth off and make an a*s of yourself. TJ, Simon, Denny and Jan all deserve our respect for the hard work they put into this case. Simon and Jan do NOT have to provide a radio program for us to discuss HaLeigh, they are doing it out of the goodness of their heart. Something I guess you wouldn’t understand.

i also wish to extend my sympathies to all the families with missing loved ones. i am praying that your children are returned safely to your arms, where they belong.

for the children that are still missing, as jan said above “Whoever has these children please find it in your hearts to send them back home.”

and anyone with any information about what happened to these children, please, find a way to give the information to their families. to the police, or a anonymous tip line. mail it in, call it in, or find someone to tell who can do something.

Not sure if anyone else had heard about T.Holmseth’s new article. I found the you tube link of T.H.’s conversation with Major Gary Bowling very informative. I believe T.H. was asking about the faked search and secondary crime scene. T.H. was questioning LE’s apparent lack of interest. It was very revealing when the Major said that everything LE does is very calculated. The Major then added that he viewed someone who would do that as someone who had an agenda.

I personally do not care who it was that caused Haleigh Cummings to disappear. I am just another concerned citizen who wants this little girl and all missing Children found. My heart also goes out to the family members who are suffering the loss of their Child.
I believe that LE will solve this case. I 100% trust their judgement. Unlike us nobodies who are looking at this from afar, those folks are there doing their jobs and they know a lot more about this case than we do.
